Jaitley slams Congress over ‘Hindu terror’ slogan
New Delhi, March 29 (Nasheman News) Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday slammed the Congress, while accusing it of coining the “Hindu terror” slogan and filing cases based on fake evidence to gain political mileage.
Days after an anti-terror court in Haryana acquitted Swami Aseemanand in the 2007 bombing of the Samjhauta Express, Jaitley said a decision has to be taken in the end.
“Perhaps because of this, those who considered Hindus as terrorists are now trying to prove their devotion towards religion,” he told the media, adding that the trial in court happened on the basis of evidence collected during the UPA regime.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that during the tenure of the UPA, when there was no evidence, the theory of Hindu terror was floated for the first time in the history of the country to tarnish the Hindu community.
“Three-four similar cases were made but none of them could stand in the court. The Congress floated the fake theory of Hindu terror to gain political mileage and tarnished the entire Hindu community. They should apologise to the community,” he said.
Last week, a National Investigation Agency (NIA) court here acquitted all four accused, including Aseemanand, in the February 2007 Samjhauta Express train blast which killed 68 people, mostly Pakistanis.
Slamming the Congress, Jaitley said: “The judgment makes it clear that it was a trial of no evidence… So many innocent people died. Who will take responsibility of this? The responsibility lies with the UPA leadership. The society will not forgive them.
“You did not go towards the real culprits. To create a theory of Hindu terror, you caught the wrong people.”
The NIA court had in January 2014 framed charges against Aseemanand, Kamal Chauhan, Rajinder Chaudhary and Lokesh Sharma.

Kohli blasts match referee over no ball gaffe: Report
Bengaluru, March 29 Nasheman News :A livid Virat Kohli on Thursday stormed into the match referee’s room and hurled abuses at him following Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) home defeat against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was marred by a glaring umpiring blooper that cost RCB dear, reports said.
According to a Times Now report, right after the presentation ceremony, a furious Kohli barged into match referee Manu Nayyar’s room and used abusive language to let his displeasure known.
As per the report, Kohli even told the match referee that he didn’t care if he was penalised for violating the code of conduct.
Needing 41 runs from 4 overs, RCB looked to be cruising against MI at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru before Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga tightened the screws on the home team and won the game for MI by 6 runs.
But the game will be remembered for umpire S. Ravi’s failure to spot a no-ball off the final delivery of the match. With RCB needing six runs from the last ball to tie the game, Lasith Malinga bowled a dot ball, but replays showed it should have been a no-ball as he overstepped.
RCB skipper Virat Kohli made his displeasure known at the end of the game, saying that the teams were not playing club cricket and the officials needed to be more careful.
During the presentation ceremony, Kohli said: “We are playing at the IPL level and not playing club cricket. The umpires should have had their eyes open. That is a ridiculous call (last ball). If it is a game of margins, I don’t know what is happening. They should have been more sharp and careful out there.”
MI skipper Rohit Sharma too backed Kohli and said that these mistakes shouldn’t happen as they were game changers.
“I just got to know when we crossed the rope. Somebody told me it was a no ball. These kind of mistakes are not good for the game of cricket, it’s pretty simple. In the over before that, Bumrah bowled a ball which wasn’t a wide. Those are game changers. There’s a TV up there, they have to watch what’s happening. It is as simple as that.
“Players can’t do much. The only thing they can do is walk off and shake hands because it was the last ball. It’s disappointing to see that. I hope they rectify their mistakes like we do when we make mistakes,” Sharma rued.
Speaking to IANS, a senior official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India said the howler in Thursday’s match was waiting to happen since there have been no proper assessment and judgement.
“What you saw (yesterday) was a symptom and not the disease. It has been two years since the Umpires’ Committee functioned. The process that was followed earlier was that the umpires were assessed during the year by a panel of former umpires who were on the Umpires’ Committee.
“The committee members were also free to visit and see the assessment being done. All of that went out of the window once the Committee of Administrators (CoA) moved in lock, stock and barrel. Mistakes happened then too, but there was a system because of which the umpires were apprehensive since they were being judged,” the official said.

LS Polls: Is it Gandhi Vs Godse now?
Puducherry, Mar 29 : AICC Puducherry Secretary-in-charge Sanjay Dutt on Friday termed the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as a mandate between the ideologies of Mahatama Gandhi and Nathuram Godse with Congress representing the Gandhian thoughts and principles.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the lines are very clearly divided no matter how much Mr Modi try to divert attention by raising irrelevant issues to hide his failure in every field.
Reminding Mr Narendra Modi of his promise of delivering Rs 15 lakh into the bank accounts of every Indian, Dutt said “Rahul Gandhi had promised waiver of agricultural loans of farmers during the campaign in MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan assembly elections, and within ten days of coming into power he delivered his promise.”
Dutt accused Mr Modi of not fulfiling the promises he had made during 2014. “He promised of curbing terror attacks and still we are witnessing terror attacks in the country, he promised of stabilizing price rise and presently we are facing the highest rate inflation”, he said.
Dutt said Modi is ‘Chowkidar’ for only the likes of Ambani, Adani, Nirav Modi etc and it is very clear that the total policy was of ‘Loot, Jhoot and Scoot?. “How can a person escape from the country without the support of the government”, he said.
“It is clear that they left the country with the support of the government”, he said adding that before leaving all of them gave donations to BJP which is the part of loot officially and unofficially every one knows, he added.
Mentioning the new NYAY scheme Dutt said, “As far as the congress party is concerned it wanted to empower all the people of the country. Rahul Gandhi along with P Chidambaram had explained how the scheme is going to be implemented. All doubts were cleared press conference and now those raising doubts are against the poor.”

In what can be called a truly historic day in the music industry of India, actor superstar Ranveer Singh & filmmaker & music evangelist Navzar Eranee have teamed up to launch their passion project, an independent music record label called IncInk. The label will look to unearth the future superstars of the music scene in India & present their raw talent to a global audience.
“We are first starting with launching some really raw, immensely talented, new rap & hip-hop artists who we believe will be the next superstars of the scene. Rap & hip-hop are the biggest thing happening in Indian music today. This poetry is speaking of revolution, it is speaking of how India is protesting against class structures, injustice & social atrocities. It is the voice of India, from the streets of India that you just can’t ignore anymore. Hindustani rap/hip hop is telling our nation’s story & reality & we at Inc Ink want to bring out the real poets of our generation. Inc Ink literally means writing your own story & I’m inspired & thrilled to be starting this passion project that aims to affect social change. I hope that we can present some of the strongest & boldest voices of Indian youth to the world,” said Ranveer Singh, who turns a global entrepreneur with his music venture.
He added, “The 1st ever 3 exceptional talents being launched are Kaam Bhari, SlowCheeta & Spitfire & I’m a huge fan of their music. We intend to sign & promote several more artists, who are exploring varied genres of music, in the days to come & showcase their beautiful music to India & the world. As an outsider in Bollywood, I have always wanted to do my bit to bring out & support the outstanding talent that we have in every street of our country. So, when Navzar Eranee & I came up with the idea of IncInk, it appealed to my core, my heart. Inc Ink is my passion & I intend to use this platform to give as many artists, from across the country, a chance to dazzle India with their talent.”
Ranveer’s partner & co-collaborator in IncInk is Navzar Eranee, a filmmaker & music lover aiming to nurture, launch & build artistes in India. He too turns an entrepreneur with this company that will give contemporary poets of our generation suitable exposure & reach amongst people.
Co-founder Navzar Eranee said, “Art can comfort the disturbed & disturb the comfortable. Music has always inspired me to think & act beyond my perceived limitations. As an artist bubbling with a point of view, I grew tired of safe conversations & diplomacy driven by economic interests. I want to connect with people. These connections via truth & authentic expression, though not always agreeable, create a more inclusive conversation. This insight drove Ranveer Singh & me to push our own boundaries & form IncInk. Anushka Manchanda a.k.a. Nuka & Shikhar Manchanda a.k.a. Rakhis came on board as our Head of Music, because we all agreed on the absolute core of what we envision for IncInk. Where artists can collaborate & express with real freedom. In my view, the haves & the have nots must engage on common ground, through art & music. This is where all collisions, disagreements & agreements must occur. To cause this change we must stir the nest, with our thoughts, our deeds & our words.”
About the decision to start their independent label by launching rap & hip-hop artists, Navzar Eranee added, “Rap allows for a bold & direct approach. We can speak our truths, learn, educate & maybe even inspire somebody outside of ourselves. Oppression must be faced with bravery & creativity. We often face injustice every day. By bringing these subjects to light through art, we can recognize them & take action. Rap lends truth to the idea that art is mightier than the sword.”
Today, IncInk released their 1st ever single, titled Zeher written & performed by Kaam Bhaari, produced by Shikhar Yuvraj Manchanda (a.k.a. Rakhis). Zeher is a hard-hitting song that challenges the prevalent conforms of the Indian music industry boldly and unapologetically.
So IncInk is an independent music company formed by artists, for art. ‘Inc’ stands for Inclusive, and ‘Ink’ for Inkalab, revolution through art. ‘IncInk’ is Inclusive Ink & an Inclusive revolution. It seeks out musicians, poets, painters & film makers. Their aim is to create an infrastructure where artists from different mediums can collaborate without restrictions. By being inclusive, IncInk will create authentic music, art & film which will provide a voice & a platform for artists. In essence, IncInk is an end to end solution for artistic freedom.
People will vote for BJP as homage to Parrikar: CM
Panaji, March 29 (Nasheman News) People of Goa will vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the coming Lok Sabha polls as homage to late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who died on March 17, incumbent Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Friday.
Speaking to the media after outgoing Lok Sabha MP and Union Ayush Minister Shripad Naik filed his nomination papers for the North Goa seat, Sawant admitted that campaigning for the elections, in the absence of Parrikar, would be a difficult proposition.
“Because of the work and development which Manohar Parrikar has carried out for so many years, people will vote for us as a homage to the late leader. Definitely, they will vote for us as a mark of respect and remembrance to him and help us win both (Lok Sabha) seats,” Sawant said.
He said the poll campaign would be “quite difficult” in Parrikar’s absence, but added that the body of work put in by him over the years as well as support from the allies, would see the party through in the polls.
“Without Parrikar, the campaigning is quite difficult for us, we know that. We are going into elections without Parrikar for the first time. But the people of Goa are with us. Alliance partners are with us.”
Sawant said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance government had spent Rs 15,000 crore for infrastructure development in Goa, which includes highway expansion, an upcoming international airport and new bridges which would help the BJP win the Lok Sabha polls.
Sawant’s comment however, comes at a time when the Goa Chief Electoral Officer is probing a complaint against him for conducting a state-wide programme of distribution of Parrikar’s ashes, which were immersed in water bodies across Goa earlier this week.
The complaint filed by a city lawyer also quoted a part of Sawant’s speech where he reportedly said that in Parrikar’s absence, the late Chief Minister’s ashes will help fetch the BJP the winning votes in the forthcoming general elections as well as the by-polls to the three Assembly seats.
BJP Karnataka urges State Police to register cases against Congress-JDS for threatening IT officials
Bengaluru, Mar 29 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Karnataka has demanded the State Police to register criminal complaints against the JD(S) and the Congress leaders, who Yesterday allegedly threatened the IT officials with dire consequences for conducting raids on various business persons, civil contractors and those who were close to the leaders of the two parties.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, BJP State Spokesperson G Madhusudan charged that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and his cabinet ministers, including Dr G Parameshwara, D K Shivakumar and others gathered near the IT office and criticised the IT authorities and used abusive languages. Chief Minister and his Cabinet Ministers organised public meeting without taking permission from the Election Commission.
While demanding the State police to register case against those who were present during the protest against the IT authorities, the BJP leader also urged Governor Vajubhai Vala to take serious note of Chief Minister’s attitude in coming out in the street and addressed the gathering in front of the IT office.
“It is highly unethical on the part of the Chief Minister and his cabinet members, joined hands to protect the tax evaders and corrupt elements in the society”, the BJP leader charged.
It may be recalled that both the Congress and the JD(S) leaders including Kumaraswamy and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Dr Parameshwara had lead a protest rally
against the IT officials, for having conducted raids in multiple locations on Thursday, targeting the Congress and the JD(S) supporters.
