The Chamarajapet police have registered a Suo motu case against president of Vishwa Sanathana Parishath charging him under promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion and Deliberate and malicious acts,intended to outrage religious feelings.

Senior officer told reporters,Police Sub Inspector, Nagendra,attached to chamarajapet police station has filed a complaint after the accused S Bhaskaran’s provocative statement to the media on Monday.

Bhaskaran statement came in the wake of BBMP West Zone Joint Commissioner announcement that the Chamarajapet Idqah ground belonged to the revenue department.

Welcoming the statement,Bhaskaran warned the Wakf department to remove the Idgad compound failing which he asked the government to do it at once.

He further said that if the government fails to do it,the pro Hindu organization will carry out the demolition work and raze the structure on December 6.

Mark my words,he reportedly said adding that December 6 may be black day for muslims but safron day for us, he stated .

He further said that pro hindu activists from neighbouring states of Tamilnadu,Andhra,Kerala and Maharastra are joining us to carry out the demolition work and this is going to happen,he announced.

His statement according to the complainant is not only provocative in nature but also insult to the community and to create hatred and communally divide the society further,he added.

The West Division police of Vijayanagar police have registered a cheating case against a 32-year-old conman who claiming to be close acquaintance with bureaucrats cheated a KAS aspirant and made away with Rs.59,5 lakh in August this year.

Senior officer told reporters,The victim,Savitha Shantappa Yalasangikar from Afzalpur is preparing for the competitive exams and staying in a paying Guest accommodation.

Ms.Savitha in her complaint,said that the accused identified as Siddaraju Subhasha Chandra Kattimani was introduced her through a common friend who offered to get her get her decent marks in the KAS exams and also get Tahsildar post using his clout with the senior officials in the government .

He also demanded huge sum of money to get the job done.Trusting him Savitha discussed this with her father who pledge his land to get a loan of and gave Kattimani a total sum of Rs.59.5 lakh in different dates.

The fraud came to light when the accused started demanding for money claiming that he need to give it to different people .

Suspecting something fishy,when Savitha asked him to give back the money,the accused not only refused to return but threatened her with dire consequences said a senior officer and efforts on track him done he added.

Three alleged assailants involved in the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha activist Praveen Nettaru Murder has been arrested in Kerala after 16 days of manhunt.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order)Alok Kumar, said that the arrested are Shiyabuddin,33,Basheer,29,and Riyaz, 27.With this,ten people have been arrested.

The arrested persons are suspected to associated with Popular Front of India and Social Democratic Party of India.

We are taking police custody of the accused to gather more information about why Praveen was targeted.

The political and other affiliation of the accused will be established in the chargesheet,he said.

Mr Kumar said as many as five two wheelers and a car have been used by the accused.The weapons used by the assailants and vehicles used by them have to be seized.

It would take about three days to finish it after we get the custody of the arrested persons.Then we will hand over the case to National Investigation Agency.

Praveen, a BJP worker was hacked to death by three bike-borne miscreants near his chicken shop,off Puttur-Sullia road,in Bellare on July 26.

The Cyber crime police are on the lookout for a conman who posing as acting Chief Justice cheated Public Relations officer of High court and made away with Rs.90,000 transferred to his account through Amazon gift hampers .

Senior officer told reporters Based on the complaint filed by K.Muralidhar,the cyber crime police on Saturday registered a case against unknown person charging him under impersonation,cheating and also under various sections of IT Act.

Mr. Muralidhar said that the accused having a picture of acting CJ in his DP sent him a message on his official mobile number asking him to send amazon gift vouchers .

Assuming that the message is from CJ,Mr. Muralidhar purchased nine amazon gift voucher online each priced Rs.10,000 from his SBI bank account and also from his friend’s account to the number .

The fraud came to light when Mr.Muralidhar confirmed after transferring the vouchers.

The Cyber crime police are now trying to track down the accused based on the mobile number he is using as acting CJ and where the money was transferred he added.

A 50-year-old food delivery executive was beaten up and push from the stairs of third floor when he asked for the remaining amount of the bill, which the accused had ordered.

The victim,Girish AK,sustained multiple injuries and treated at the hospital before filing a complaint with the Amruthahalli police on Tuesday.

Girish,in his complaint,said that he was working for Chings restuarant in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar in Amruthahalli as delivery executive,from where the accused Reddy had ordered Chicken Biryani and a bottle of Pepsi.

Though Reddy paid online for Biryani he did not pay for the Beverages following which the cashier had asked Girish to get the cash from Reddy after delivery.

Girish went to Reddy’s apartment situated on Dasarahalli main road and after delivery asked to pay cash for the beverages he had ordered .

Irritated by this Reddy started hurling abuses at him for which Girish objected.Enraged by this Reddy slapped Girish and pushed him from the stairs .

Girish lost balance and tumbled down and sustained multiples injuries.He went to the hospital to get treatment and informed the cashier about the incident before filing a complaint with the police .

The police went to the apartment to secure Reddy’s custody but he is absconding.Efforts are on to track him down.

Based on the complaint,the police have registered a case of assault and criminal intimidation and efforts are on to track down the accused Nagarjun Reddy, who is presently on the run said a senior officer.

A 40-year-old pillion riding homemaker woman was killed on the spot while the rider injured when she came under the wheels of a BMTC bus on Magadi Road on Thursday.

The driver was booked for rash and negligent driving who brushed with the handlebar of the scooter causing both the riders to fall.

The deceased has been identified as Sharada KR, a resident of Mahalakshmi Layout .

Senior officer told reporters,the accident occurred at around 11.45 in front of the Royal Mart on Magadi Main Road coming under the Byadrahalli police station limits.

The victim riding pillion was indeed wearing a half-helmet,but soon after she fell,the helmet also had slipped away from her head.

Victim’s nephew Sukh Dev was riding the scooter, too fell sustaining injuries to his hand and leg, the police said.

Sukh Dev and his aunt Sharada were on the way from their house in Mahalakshmi Layout towards Kachohalli where Sharada was running a fancy store.

When the scooter reached in front of the Royal Mart near College bus stop on Magadi Main Road,a rashly driven BMTC bus in a bid to overtake the scooter brushed with the scooter’s handle.

Sukh Dev riding the bike lost control and fell to the right,Sharada who was riding pillion fell and came under the rear wheel of the bus crushed to death .

Sukh Dev informed Sharada’s husband Khemaram Choudhary over phone who rushed to the spot and inquired with Sukh Dev.

Sharada’s body was shifted to Victoria Hospital for postmortem.

Based on her husband’s complaint, the Byadrahalli police have registered a case booking the driver of the BMTC bus for causing accidental death due to rash and negligent driving and further investigations are underway.

There were no potholes or any road construction work that was happening nearby and it was due to the BMTC bus driver’s reckless and rash driving that the accident occurred, the police said .

The Cubbon park police are on the lookout for a Tamil Nadu based businessman who allegedly raped a 35-year-old software engineer after inviting her to a hotel room situated in Central business district on the pretext of business talk on last Saturday.

Senior officer told reporters, according to complaint filed by the victim,she stated that the accused was known to her for many years.She met the accused on August 6 in a hotel.

The woman wanted to develop an application related to OTT and had approached the accused, a businessman in Tamilnadu,to invest in her new venture.When she met in the hotel room he took advantage of the situation and allegedly abused her.

The woman was under the shock and after recovering she filed a complaint with the police on August 10,four days after the alleged incident took place.

The cubbon park police have subjected her for the medical test and a special team is formed to nab the accused who is hiding in Tamil Nadu.

Senior officers visiting the hotel and the room where the accused stayed they got confirmation that the woman had been to his room.The CCTV footage verified her visit.

The woman staying in East Bengaluru is married and has two children.She is into the film field working in a technical team.Once we catch the accused we will get to know more details about the incident,said a senior officer.

A case has been registered in Cubbon park police station and a special team has been formed and are working on it he added.

During this Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav,pledge to donate your organs which could be the amrit of someone’s life,said Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar during a press conference held on Friday, August 12.

The press conference was held to brief about the the awareness program where a human chain will be formed from Bengaluru’s Mekhri Circle to Freedom Park on Saturday to mark the World Organ Donation Day.

The human chain will consist of over 5000 which would include students,youth and ASHA workers to express cooperation amongst people.

In addition to this,several belonging to the field of health and medicine will stand in the shape of kidneys at Tripuravasini from 8 – 8:15 am to raise awareness,Health Minister sudhakar said.

Also,CM Bommai will be felicitating family members who donated the organs of their loved ones who unfortunately had been declared brain dead, at an event that will be held in Vidhana Soudha.

Additionally, those who were the recipients of the organs will also share their thoughts on the occasion.

CM Bommai will also take an organ donation pledge.I too along with other officials will also take a pledge along with CM Bommai at the event,Minister Sudhakar added.

We call blood donation a great donation.I would like to go one step ahead and say organ donation is the superior most donation.

Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has appealed to citizens of India during one of his Mann Ki Baat address.

Karnataka has State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) and there is an option to take the pledge online.

Over 11,000 people have already taken the pledge online.Karnataka should become a role model in this.A total of 4354 people have registered for a Kidney transplant in Karnataka.

SImilarly,1141 people have registered for a liver transplant and 91 people have applied for a heart transplant.

The recipient will be decided on the basis of match and further on first come first serve basis within the match,Minister Sudhakar said.

There is a need for 3-4 lakh Kidney donations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,the number of donations had gone down.

There were only two two places for organ donation in the entire,one at Bowring and the other at NIMHANS.

The Karnataka government took measures to open one such facility at each medical medical college in Karnataka and currently the number has grown to 18, said Minister Sudhakar.

It is heartening to see so many come forward to pledge themselves for organ donation.Even our beloved Puneeth Rajkumar’s eye donation has helped restore vision to 5 people.

Organs of Actor Sanchari Vijay have helped save 5 people,Minister Sudhakar added.

To hasten the process of donation, harvest, transportation and transplant of organs, an air ambulance facility is being planned and will be available shortly.

In Victoria Hospital’s gastroenterology unit an organ harvest facility has been created with very low expenditure under the Ayushmaan Bharat scheme.

We are also contemplating placing a price cap for organ donation in private hospital to make it more affordable, stated Minister Sudhakar.
