Rang De 2018 conducted on 7th April ’18 by B.Sc FAD Department of Baldwin Women’s Methodist College was an eventful day for the students and staff filled with Vibrancy, Scintillation and Elegance as they witnessed the Annual Fashion Show. The show portrayed the designs of the budding designers of 3rd year B.Sc FAD . This also provided the students a platform where they could showcase their talent in designing, constructing and embellishing their vision into perfection. There were 12 theme based collections that was exhibited. The external jury was held on 4th april 2018. The Eminent Jury Members were Mrs. Leela Mohan- Senior Professor, Apparel Technology and Management, Bangalore , Mrs. Preeti Sarna, Fashion Designer and Ms. Shazia Tasneem, Design Head, Scotts Garments, Bangalore.
Rang De 2018 witnessed an array of collections namely Barbie Runway by Ankita Aggarwal, Royal Ambrosia by Daniya Fathima, Camaride Aglow by Divkar Mitalee Minnath, Ash Track by Divya Saxena, Flimsonic Vibrance by Heena.A , Chromatic Credence by Kushbu.P.Parmar, Soulful Mystiqueness by Lumbini.R , Cascading Deluge by Memooda Rumana, Phantonic Illusion by Nisha Bhandari, Crimsonic Spectrum by Pushpanjali.G , Unfurling Spell by Sehba Nahin Sheriff, Venturous Vagaries by Veena.H.R.
Kushbu.P.Parmar won the ‘Best Accessorised Collection Award’, Daniya Fathima won the ‘Most Practical Collection Award’. The ‘Best Conceptualized Collection’ was given to Pushpanjali.G and ‘Best Non-wearable Award’ was given to Ankita. The ‘Jury Special Award’ was shared by Mehmooda and Divkar Mitalee Minnath. The ‘Most Creative Collection‘ and the ‘Best Design Collection Award’ was bagged by Nisha Bhandari.
