POSTER OF HINDI FILM ‘3 DEV’ UNVEILED

Karan Singh Grover, Ravi Dubey & Kunaal Roy Kapoor will play Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma & Lord Shiva respectively in 3 Dev releasing on 11th May 2018. The film also stars Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Raima Sen, Poonam Kaur, Priya Banerjee & Prosenojit. The tagline for the film reads, “Undercover Bhagwan”. Perhaps Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu & Lord Shiva will take human forms for a tour of the Earth. The film is directed by Ankoosh Bhatt who also made films like Bhindi Bazaar & Mumbai Mirror. Ankoosh Bhatt said, “The film is a realistic comedy, which deals with ‘why God is required in our lives’. It goes on to ask what the identity of God is, and if he is synonymous with hope & belief. Today, people only remember God in times of need. Bumbada plays the film’s sutradhar.” The poster was unveiled on Twitter by Varun Dhawan. The film is produced by Chintan Rana. Sajid Wajid has given the music for the film.

Penguin has acquired the rights of Novoneel Chakraborty’s novella The Stranger Trilogy, a bestseller known for its edgy, gripping & engaging plot. Partnering with Goldie Behl, this 3 season show will bring the romantic thriller series to life. The show will revolve around the fictional love story of a lady & her pursuer. This will be a coming – of – age drama where we’ll see the protagonist transform from a sheltered, spoilt brat to a strong & independent woman. Goldie Behl is now all set to make his grand entry into the web space with “The Stranger Trilogy”. IT TOOK 7 HOURS FOR AMITABH & RISHI TO GET INTO ‘102 NOT OUT’ LOOK

‘102 Not Out’ will see Amitabh Bachchan & Rishi Kapoor sharing screen space after a gap of 27 years. Bachchan plays Rishi Kapoor’s father. A lot of prosthetics & make up was used to make them look like their character’s age. Director Umesh Shukla states that it would take his ageing protagonists a staggering 7 hours for make – up every day, followed by 6 hours of shooting. He says, “Initially, I thought they would get irritated with the long – winded process but the make – up actually helped them emote and complemented their characters really well. Both Amitabh sir & Rishi ji would walk onto the sets at 5 am with a different kind of energy and we would commence shooting after lunch and go on till 6 pm. At times, the shoot extended to 9 pm. While Bachchan’s dentures were manageable, Kapoor’s bald cap was a cause of concern. Rishi ji, who plays a 70 year old character, would feel extremely hot in it. Whenever he removed it, and I am not exaggerating, it looked like he was sweating by the glass. He had to wear that cap for at least 12 hours every day,” he revealed. The film has been written by Saumya Joshi & directed by Umesh Shukla.

SONAM KAPOOR TO MEET ANUJA CHAUHAN, AS PART OF PREPARATION FOR ‘THE ZOYA FACTOR’!

Sonam Kapoor will soon step into the shoes of Zoya Solanki, the much loved character from Anuja Chauhan’s novella “The Zoya Factor” to be adapted for the big celluloid silver screen. The story revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup. Since Chauhan’s novels have been described as tailor made for screen adaptations, Sonam who is a voracious reader herself, will soon meet the author to better understand her character. Ovais Khan – Journey From Ad Films To A Bollywood Movie!

They say in Bollywood if you have the zeal to succeed, nothing can stop you and that’s just what’s happening with Ovais Khan who will be debuting in the industry as a director with his maiden comedy venture.

Starting out as a fashion photographer, Ovais Khan shifted to Mumbai from Delhi and in no time started hitting headlines. In 2007, the photographer was being covered everywhere for being the only one to have brought together as many as 9 Bollywood directors including the likes of Farhan Akhtar, Rajkumar Hirani, Abbas Mustan, Siddharth Malhotra, Sudheer Mishra, Madhur Bhandaker, etc. modelling for him as his subject.

Moving onto the next level in his career, Ovais Khan then took up the ad world by storm and assisted some of the biggest ad fimmakers in the world including the likes of Armin Franzen for Chevrolet, Kaka Tong for Volkswagon, Zubin Mistry for Tata Nano & Bjorn Charpentier for Dell Laptop to name just a few. He eventually graduated to taking up ads as a DOP and shot ad films with Rayan Giggs, A R Rahman, Boris Becker, Michael Johson, Viswanathan Anand, Kareena Kapoor Khan et al.

French Actress Stephane Audran Left For Her Heavenly Abode At The Age Of 85

Stephane Audran, the French screen star of 1960’s, 1970’s & 1980’s, has recently left for heavenly abode. She passed away recently at the ripe old age of 85. Stephane Audran had won a string of awards including a Bafta for “Best Actress” in the year 1974 for two films, The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie and Just Before Nightfall. She had also played the lead in Babette’s Feast, which won the Oscar for “Best Foreign Language Film” in the year 1988, and was Cara in Brideshead Revisited on British TV Soap Opera. Stephane Audran was also known for her work with her husband, director Claude Chabrol. The pair had made 25 films together during their marriage, which lasted from the year 1964 to the year 1980 and many of those films saw her play unfaithful or betrayed wives mostly named Helene. Their films included Les Biches, for which Stephane Audran had won the “Best Actress” at the Berlin Film Festival in the year 1968. Another film, Violette Noziere, earned her a Cesar award in France a decade later. Ironically speaking it was only in the middle age that the great beauty Stephane Audran became a big name internationally.

Justin Bieber Involved In A Car Crash

Justin Bieber was recently involved in a car smash in West Hollywood. The Sorry hitmaker was driving his Mercedes – Benz G – Class on Sunset Boulevard when he was rear – ended by a Range Rover. Photographs of the incident show some damage to the back of Justin Bieber’s vehicle, as well as him walking over to speak with the passengers of the other car involved. Law enforcement sources told that an OnStar system, which is a personal in – car assistant, alerted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to the accident, which happened at around 9 pm. Police officers reportedly stood by as Justin Bieber and the other driver exchanged information, and no charges were filed. Justin Bieber was alone in the vehicle, after recently splitting from Selena Gomez. Justin Bieber is now alleged to be dating Baskin Champion, who is the sister of his friend Patrick Schwarzenegger’s girlfriend, Abby Champion. She was spotted leaving the singer’s Beverly Hills home earlier recently, after spending around four hours with him. They spent the day inside and she had arrived on her own. Justin Bieber was waiting at home for her. After spending the afternoon together, they both left the house within a few minutes of each other in separate cars. In fact Justin Bieber was then seen by photographers hopping into his Lamborghini minutes after Baskin Champion had left his mansion. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had rekindled their on – again / off – again romance at the end of 2017 and reportedly split at the beginning of this month. The break – up had come days after the former Disney Channel star shared an affectionate post on social media to celebrate Justin Bieber’s birthday on 1st Mar, 2018.

The One Direction star Liam Payne was spotted getting cosy with a dancer in United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently. But Cheryl has slammed the rumors suggesting her boyfriend Liam Payne is cheating on her with one of his dancers while he was in Dubai recently. The One Direction singer hit headlines recently when pictures surfaced online, showing him enjoying a night out at the Penthouse Bar at Five Palm Jumeirah Dubai with his back – up dancer Chloe Ferns, with gossips suggesting that they were getting up close and personal. The rumors emerged after it was claimed that Cheryl was “annoyed” by another snap of her man hanging out with Katy Perry backstage on her tour in Japan, and the former Girls Aloud star is so fed up with the false reports, that she has blasted the tabloids on Twitter. Cheryl had written in her post, “I usually don’t bother myself to respond to stupid articles, but in my silence they hold the pen.This is a stupid article, clutching at very small straws. But I can’t ignore this story involving an innocent dancer colleague of Liam’s who has a fiancé, and dragging them into this desperate attempt to try to cause problems between Liam and me. Nor do I understand the almost daily onslaught of stories,” she continues, referencing another set of images from the same night out picturing Liam chatting with another unidentified female. “The other ‘mystery woman’ in the story happens to be my long term friend & manager named Lily from England.”

We love you all.” The statement emerged shortly after the former One Direction star hinted at trouble in his personal life as he shared a shirtless selfie on Instagram. Zayn and Gigi, who featured in his Pillowtalk music video, were last spotted in public together in New York City in late Jan, 2018. Zayn Malik has been relaxing on vacation in Miami, Florida in recent days, while, Gigi Hadid has been keeping busy in Europe, where she recently took part in Italy’s Milan Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion Week in France. The pair first started dating in Nov, 2015, just 3 months after Zayn called off his engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Gigi was also newly single at the time, after parting ways with Joe Jonas. The split news emerged 2 months after Gigi’s mother, former model Yolanda Hadid, hinted at a possible engagement.

The British royal Prince Harry stepped down as a Captain in the Army in 2015, but he and his bride – to – be Meghan Markle have decided to include a tribute to his previous career when they tie the knot in May, 2018 by inviting more than 250 military members to perform the ceremonial duties at Windsor Castle, England. “Prince Harry & Meghan Markle are pleased that the members of the Armed Forces will play such a special role in their wedding,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson shares in a statement. “The military, and these units in particular, hold a great significance for Prince Harry and the couple are incredibly grateful for their support.” Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, Chief of the Defence Staff, has expressed his pride at having the Armed Forces take part in such a “happy occasion”. Amongst the units invited are the Household Cavalry, with members taking on a role inside the royal residence’s St. George’s Chapel, where Harry and Meghan will exchange vows. Prince Harry, who served two tours of Afghanistan during his time in the Army, has continued to support the troops through his charity work and his Invictus Games event, a Paralympic – style sporting competition for injured military personnel. The bride and groom to be had reportedly met in Toronto, Canada in 2016, while Harry was promoting the 2017 Invictus Games, which were held in the city. Former actress Meghan was based there at the time to film her legal drama series Suits. They used last year’s event to make their first public debut as a couple.

We’ve got a 45 minute timeslot for the Dubai show, which is nice, because we can do a really punchy set, we can get loads of hits in there. I’ve had a long career and made loads of records, so there’s lots of songs I want to play, even spanning back to the mid – 90’s. We have a really fun set we would like to do for shows like this. We’ll probably do something similar that we do for the festivals in UK.

That’s a good one. I have been so fortunate in my solo career. I’ve even played some territories that the Spice Girls never got to. Even Dubai! I’ve made it down to Australia. I was in Brazil and Mexico last year, places where the Spice Girls never performed live. So it’s been nice to do things that I haven’t done with the girls.
On Her Previous Visits To Dubai And Her Experience On Seeing Some Of UAE’s Sights & Sounds. I was in Dubai many, many years ago. These trips were always quite brief. But like a lot of people in UK, we love coming back to Dubai because the weather is glorious, and you have lovely restaurants. You know you’re going to have a sophisticated time, whether it’s dining, or parting, or just generally being looked after. So as you can tell, I’m very much looking forward to getting back out there.

Yes, it’s going very well and I’m very excited. I’m working with a fantastic producer and having a lot of fun in the studio. I can’t say too much at the moment, I’m keeping my cards close to my chest. But it’s something I hope to release later this year. All I can say it’s going to be a different “Version Of Me”. As everyone knows I like to jump from one thing to the next. It’s very musical, not like a musical theater, but it has a real musicality to it. I’m working with a respected producer and I think it’ll be a nice surprise that people will enjoy.

On Her Plans Of Turning A DJ

Being a lover of music, I’ve always quite fancied it. Somebody approached me to see if I’d want to do it, and I thought, ‘you know what, I’ll give it a try’. It’s been really fun figuring out what I want to play and how I want to be as a DJ. And the era of music that’s really relevant to me, and there were so many great styles, obviously the 90’s. So I’ve been working on a 90’s set, which is great, because it kind of spans dance music, more poppy stuff right through to clubby hard – core house & Britpop. It’s been really fun getting the dynamic of the set together, so that’s what I’ve been working on. My first DJ gig is in Paris very soon. I’m nervous obviously, but if it goes well, I’ll hopefully do a lot more in the future. It’s really fun and it is also like another additional string to my musical bow.

It’s absolutely fine. I know people are curious, and no step of the way have we wanted to mislead the people. We have come together, and we’re back with our previous manager Simon Fuller, and we are looking at opportunities. Animation is something we’ve talked about, an animated movie, a TV shows potentially, nothing reality, and this isn’t something that’s been discussed. And then, of course, the potential of performing together at some point. All of this is super early days; it’s still very much at the discussion stage. But it’s just really nice for us all to be back together, to kind of be under one roof. The Spice Girls legacy is so important to us. We just want to be positive and continue to inspire, not only young women, but people in general.

TARUN MALHOTRA TO MAKE HIS DEBUT OPPOSITE ESHA DEOL IN ‘CAKEWALK’

After working with Pradeep Sarkar & Gaurie Shinde, Tarun will work with debutant director duo Ram Kamal Mukherjee & Abhra Chakraborty. When producer turned director Ram Kamal Mukherjee offered him male lead in his film Cakewalk, Tarun couldn’t believe that he was an inch away from making his dream come true. Tarun recollects, “I met Ram Kamal first when I was called to choreograph the annual event of Magna Publications 5 years ago. I was teaching him a dance routine for one of the acts. It is nostalgic to revisit those memories. I was delighted when Ram Kamal asked me if I would like to do it and now I am all set to make my Bollywood debut.” Tarun will be seen opposite Esha Deol. The story has been written by Ram Kamal. The film has music by Shailendra Sayanti and will be shot in Mumbai & Kolkata. Tarun bagged his 1st ever TV project Jaanbaz Sindabad for Ramanand Sagar productions for Zee TV. Tarun was also seen in a web series Dulha Wanted in which he shared screen space with veteran Surekha Sikhri. He also played cameo in an Australian TV series Jack Irish. Recently he worked with Gaurie Shinde for a TVC starring Alia Bhatt.

Sikandar Kher who got a lot of appreciation for his negative character in TV show named 24 is now all set to explore the negative genre once again in his next film Milan Talkies. Timangshu Dhulia approached Sikandar Kher to play the negative lead character in his next film Milan Talkies which also stars Ali Fazal in the lead role. The shoot of the film is already started and Sikandar is expected to join the unit in Mathura in the next 10 days. The film is based on the plight of single screen cinemas and the pathetic situation the talkies have been in for the last decade. The film also features Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra & Yashpal Sharma. “I always wanted to work with Timangshu sir for years and when he asked me if I would play the baddie in his next, I immediately jumped at the offer. JACKIE SHROFF MAKES HIS GUJARATI DEBUT WITH THE FILM ‘VENTILATOR’

Jackie Shroff has made his Gujarati debut with the adaptation of Rajesh Mapuskar’s Marathi comedy – drama Ventilator. Helmed by debutant director Umang Vyas, the adaptation is written by acclaimed scriptwriter Niren Bhatt, who has previously written the National Award – winning thriller drama Wrong Side Raju, Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well and the Salman Khan produced Loveratri, that features his brother – in – law Aayush Sharma. The film also features well – known Gujarati film & theatre artists. Umang Vyasy commenced shooting for the Gujarati film, with the mahurat shot canned at Goregaon’s Film City Studio. The lead cast with filmmakers Ashutosh Gowariker & Rajesh Mapuskar along with director Umang was present at the venue. While Ashutosh gave clap for the mahurat shot featuring Shroff, the original ventilator director Mapuskar, who is also involved as the creative director on this film, ceremoniously broke the coconut. After filming certain sequences in Mumbai, the cast will move to Ahmedabad to shoot the rest of the film. Shroff mentioned that he wishes to work in other languages as well. After making a mark in Bollywood, Irada Entertainment is now gearing up to make an impact in the Gujarati cinema with Ventilator featuring Jackie Shroff.

AKSHAYE KHANNA TO PLAY SANJAYA BARU IN ‘THE ACCIDENTAL PRIME MINISTER”

In a forthcoming political film, The Accidental Prime Minister, Akshay Khanna has been roped in to play renowned political commentator & policy analyst, Sanjaya Baru who is currently serving as Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).The film is based on Sanjaya Baru’s book which is a tell – all memoir about his time at the Prime Minister’s Office. While Akshay will be essaying the role of Sanjaya, UK born Indian actor Arjun Mathur will be seen playing the role of Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Akshaye said, “I am thrilled & excited to be a part of a venture which will be a path breaker, a game changer at many levels.” Further talking about Sanjaya Baru’s book “The Accidental Prime Minister”, Akshay says ” The balance which he gave to the book needs to be admired.” The movie is slated to release on 21stDec, 2018.

The film had gone on the floors this year on 9th Jan, 2016 wherein Aamir Khan had given the muhurat clap. The next schedule with Arshad & Javed commenced on 20th Mar, 2018 in Mumbai. With Total Dhamaal, the makers have done a casting coup with the hit duo Anil Kapoor & Madhuri Dixit joining Ajay Devgn in the film. Total Dhamaal will also see the return of the comic gang of Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi & Javed Jaffrey along with Boman Irani. But even with this success the actor feels, he has a long way to go.
