The state political leaders are seen to be on a warning spree.
It was on Wednesday that state BJP chief BS Yeddyurappa made some serious corruption remarks against Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and his father HD Devegowda and alleged the two of looting the state.
Responding to the same, the CM had warned BSY saying that he is the CM and hence would not remain silent if such baseless allegations were levelled against him and his family.
Now, in continuation to the same, BSY has warned the CM of ‘retaliatory action by the centre’ if any action is initiated against him.
“Kumaraswamy should not forget that it’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government at the centre and if he takes any action, we know how to retaliate,” threatened the Lingayat strongman.
Soon, youth Congress members staged stir outside BSY’s residence at Dollar’s colony in Bengaluru.
Karnataka has been facing several political ups and downs in the recent times. The state has a coalition government and the coalition partners- the Congress and the JDS have been alleging that the BJP has been trying to topple the three-month-old government by luring the MLAs.
