Dhanush To Start 1 More Sequel
Nowadays sequels are becoming the norm not only in Hollywood & Bollywood but also in Kollywood. Dhanush has just completed his VIP2 directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth the sequel to his blockbuster hit Velai Illa Pattadhari. Director Balaji Mohan announced early last year that he is writing the script to the 2nd part of his super hit Maari in which Dhanush rocked as a “thara local don”. It is now confirmed that the scripting is in the final stages & the shooting is all set to begin in Aug this year. It is also learnt that Kajal Agarwal & Robo Shankar will reprise their roles from the original.
Parvathi Admits Facing Sexual Abuse
In a recent interview, Parvathy made some shocking revelations that she had faced sexual assaults & abuses from her co -workers in cinema. The actress who do not wish to reveal the names of the criminals said that such people are a real threat to the society. Parvathy added that she could understand & relate to the emotional & physical pain undergone by the popular actress who was recently molested by a gang in a moving car. The actress said that she had also faced a similar crime but she had successfully overcome it with positivity. According to Parvathy, she is a survivor & not a victim.
Mahesh Babu’s Only Choice Is To Don A Directors Hat
Mahesh Babu’s 1st straight Tamil film SPYder directed by A. R. Murugadoss will soon go into postproduction for a late Jun 2017 release. The Prince of Tollywood in an interview to a leading Tamil weekly conceded that the opportunity to act alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay was narrowly missed when Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyan Selvan got shelved. Mahesh Babu has said that he would love to work with Vijay again and there are only 2 criteria, 1 is that the story should give equal importance to both and a director who can handle the 2 mega heroes. His only choice among the current generation directors is A. R. Murugadoss.
Vijay Sethupathi Without A Heroine
Vijay Sethupathi will be teaming up again with his Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom director Balaji Tharaneetharan. This will be the Makkal Selvan’s 25th film as an actor and the film has been titled as Seethakathi.
In a recent interview to an English newspaper, the director has revealed some interesting information about the plot & characters of the film. According to Balaji. Vijay Sethupathi plays the character named Ayya, who is a theater artist. The film is basically the story of an actor but it will be entertaining as comedy has been given a lot of importance in the script. Vijay Sethupathi does not have any love interest or female pair in the film. But Remya Nambeesan and few other popular heroines will come as actresses in the film.

Babu Baga Busy Censor Done
Babu Baga Busy has recently completed its censor formalities. The film has been certified with “A”. The adult comedy will hit the screens in the month of May, 2017. “Our film has got the appreciation of Censor Board members. We are going to release it as a perfect summer film in May, 2017” producer Abhishek Nama of Sri Abhishek Pictures has said. Starring Srinivas Avasarala as the hero, the adult comedy is directed by debutante Naveen Medaram. With Mishty Chakravarty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Aysola & Shreemukhi in key roles, its trailer has garnered more than 5 million views.
Mohanlal To Sport 2 Different Get Ups
Mohanlal who is currently busy with the shoot of his new movie with director B. Unnikrishnan titled Villain will next act in Lal Jose’s directorial. This is for the 1st time in his career, the complete actor is teaming up with Lal Jose. Reportedly, Mohanlal will be seen in 2 get – ups, as the movie narrates 2 phases of his character – one of a middle -aged college lecturer and the other in a salt n pepper avatar. Touted be an out & out comedy entertainer, the movie will start rolling immediately after Mohanlal completes the filming of Villain. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the movie is currently in the pre – production stage.

Titled Third World Boys starring Siju Wilson, Soubin Sahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Shine Tom Chacko, Sudhy Koppa & Premjith in the lead roles, is slated to hit the big screens on 26th May, 2017. Directed by debutantes Shahaladharan Sashidharan & Ayyappa Swaroop, the movie revolves around a group of young men who set out for a trip to hill station.
