John Abraham’s debut Marathi film Savita Damodar Paranjpe as a producer has gone on the floors. The macho actor recently announced the news of the movie going on floors on his social networking site. Interestingly, John has been a big fan of the movie story and is glad that he finally got the opportunity to produce it under his banner JA Entertainment. The movie stars Subodh Bhave, Trupti Toradmal & Raqesh Bapat. Directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi (Fugay fame), Savita Damodar Paranjpe is an adaptation of the popular Marathi play, Savita Damodar Paranjpe.

Kareena Kapoor’s hairstylist Pompy is all set to make his acting debut with Vikram Phadnis’ Marathi film Hrudayantar. Produced by Vikram Phadnis Productions, Young Berry Entertainment (Pratap Sarnaik & his son Purvesh Sarnaik) & directed by Vikram, Hrudayantar is an emotional drama featuring Mukta Barve, Subodh Bhave & Sonali Khare. Pompy, who has been working with Kareena for almost a decade now, has not just designed the actors’ look in Hrudayantar but have also acted in a Marathi film for the 1st time ever. “Pompy & Vikram shares a good rapport as friends since a long time. When Vikram asked him to design his film’s look, he immediately agreed. The character Pompy plays in the film is a humorous one and he played his part well, much to Vikram’s surprise.” Produced by Vikram Phadnis Productions, Young Berry Entertainment (Pratap Sarnaik & his son Purvesh Sarnaik) & directed by Vikram, Hrudayantar is scheduled to release on 9th June, 2017!

Hrithik Roshan who will make his debut in Marathi film industry with Vikram Phadnis’ Hrudayantar, launched the trailer of the emotional drama. The superstar who plays a pivotal role in Vikram’s debut directorial venture is glad to be part of the movie and had also tweeted its release date on his social media last month. And this time too, he happily agreed to grace the trailer launch at a suburban multiplex recently. Hrithik Roshan says, “I wouldn’t have considered deviating from what I was doing in my life at the point in time when Vikram approached me. The film wouldn’t have been possible without his incredible vision, clarity & passion. Hrudayantar is the heart of Vikram. Purvesh Sarnaik says, “When Vikram narrated me the title of the film I didn’t bother to hear the script because the title itself is so strong & meaningful”. MARATHI FILM ASPIRES TO CREATE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD THROUGH RELAY SINGING
In an earlier Relay singing recorded in 2006 at United Kingdom 288 students of John Bell School had come together to create a World Record. However this is the 1st time that such a song with Relay singing is being recorded for a Marathi film by Virag
Madhumalati Wankhade to achieve a place in Guinness World Records for Relay Singing. He created record on a Reality Show Guinness World Record Ab Todega India’ on Colors Channel through his synchronized Tabla playing with 155 Tabla players for 90 seconds. Auditions were held in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Marathwada and many Districts in Vidarbha. Virag Wankhade has produced & directed Chak De productions Marathi film “Dr. Tatya Lahane…Angaar…Power is within…” for which the relay song is going to be recorded. The 108 word song will be sung by 300 singers in synchronization. The original song from the film has been rendered by Sadhana Sargam & Virag and he himself has written the lyrics. The song has been composed by Music Director “Ek Hindusthani”. Through the medium of this song a tribute has been paid to the work of Dr. Lahane. Virag said that he is doing this film with a view to propagate the eminent social work of Dr. Lahane to every nook & corner of the World.
