Vasudev, the former project manager of the Nirmitti Center, who was subjected to a corruption crackdown (ACB Raid), was arrested on Saturday night. Data are available on the ACB raid at Vasudev’s home, finding 1434 per cent more property than income.
Vasudev did not answer the authorities’ question if the illegal property was found in a high volume. Vasudev was arrested on charges of corruption and failure to cooperate with the investigation. Vasudev is shocked to find illegal property.
The Anti Corruption Bureau on Sunday arrested Vasudeva,57,RN,former project director of Nirmiti Kendra (Bengaluru Rural district ) and remanded him to judicial custody for not cooperating with the ongoing disproportionate case investigation.
During the course of search conducted at his house,the ACB officials recovered documents pertaining to movable and immovable properties including 28 houses,four acres of land,16 sites in and around bengaluru,5 cars,926 grams of gold valuables,9 kgs of silver articles,Rs 17.2 lakh cash,RS.1.3 crore worth bank balance from various bank accounts,besides properties in the name of his wife and son.
The total estimated property worth Rs 31.2 crore which is 1434 percent disproportionate to his known source of income .
The ACB officials suspect that the accused might have many more properties which need to be investigated .
However Vasudev refused to divulge and not co-operate with the investigations.Hence he has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. The ACB officials now take him into custody later for further investigations.
