Lokayukta police unearthed disproportionate assets of 10 ‘crorepati’ govt officers in Karnataka

Lokayukta police unearthed disproportionate assets of 10 ‘crorepati’ govt officers in Karnataka
Karnataka Lokayukta Police have conducted massive search operations across the state in connection with 10 disproportionate asset cases registered against 10 Government Officers in Lokayukta Police Stations of Tumakuru,Mandya,Chikkamagaluru,Mysuru,Koppal, Vijayanagara,Ballari,Hassan,Chamarajanagara and Mangaluru and recovered disproportionate assets worth several crores . 


As many as 10 teams of officials on tuesday conducted simultaneously searches of the residence,office of the relatives of the accused officials in more than 41 places across the state and booked the following officials under DA cases . A Hanumantharayappa,Junior Engineer,Civil,Office of the Asst,Executive Engineer,KRIDL Sub Division, Madhugiri,Tumakuru Dist and recovered disproportionate assets worth total value of Rs.2.5 crore . 
The officials searched 6 places of the accused and  found documents pertaining to three houses,eight acres agricultural Land worth Rs.2.3 crore . 
Apart from this the officials also recovered cash Rs. 40,000,gold valuables worth worth Rs.8.5 lakh,vehicles worth Rs.2 lakh and House hold articles worth Rs.25.3 lakh.
Similarly the officials raided,Harsha H R,Executive Engineer,PWD,Mandya Dist,and recovered disproportionate assets worth Rs.4.5 crore . 
This was recovered after officials searched in 6 places of the accused officer and found property documents of  3 Sites,2 Houses,15-30 Acres Agricultural Land total worth Rs.1.6 crore . 
This apart cash Rs.1.5 lakh,Rs 10 lakh worth valuables, Rs.55 lakh worth vehicles and Rs.2.15 crore worth house hold articles.
Similar raids were conducted on B Ravi,Asst.Prof.and Director,Post Graduate Centre,Krishnadevaraya University,Nandihalli,Ballari Dist and recovered disproportionate assets worth Rs.2.16 crore from him. 
The officials conducted searched at three places belonging to the accused and recovered documents pertaining to Seven Sites,two Houses worth Rs.1.5 crore . 
Apart from this cash Rs.59,800,Rs.9.12 lakh worth valuables,Vehicles worth Rs.23.3 lakh and House hold articles worth Rs.26 lakh from him.


The Lokayukta officials also raided R R Bhaskar,Asst. Executive Engineer (Ele),Store Dept,H B Halli,GESCOM (Gadag Vidyut Chakthi Nigam) and recovered a total worth Rs.1.7 crore worth disproportionate assets from him. 
This includes,8 Sites,3 Houses,two acres agricultural Land,cash Rs.76,550 and gold ornaments worth Rs.20 lakh. 
In addition to this the officials recovered vehicles worth Rs.12 lakh and household articles worth Rs.1.6 lakh from him.
P Ravi Kumar,AEE,PWD Rural Development and Drinking Water and Sanitization,Head Office,Hunsuru Sub Division,Mysuru Dist and found disproportionate assets worth Rs.2.07 crore. 


This was recovered after searching three places belonging to the accused and found documents pertaining to one site,a house and a commercial establishment,5.9 acres Property Mortgage,4 Acres agricultural Land. 
Apart from this ornaments worth Rs.13.3 lakh Vehicles worth Rs.4 lakh and household articles worth Rs.11.5 lakh .
Nethravathi K R,Commercial Tax Officer,Office of the Commercial Tax Commissioner,Commercial Tax Department,Chikkamagaluru Dist and found disproportionate assets total worth Rs.1.9 crore . 
This according to the officials recovered after searching two places of the accused and found documents pertaining to 5 Sites,1 House. 


In addition to this the officials also seized cash Rs.4.5 lakh,ornaments worth Rs.7.7 lakh,vehicles worth Rs.10 lakh and household articles worth Rs.16.4 lakh.
Renukamma,RFO,Hoovina Hadagali Range,Forest Department,Vijayanagara Dist was found having disproportionate assets worth Rs.2.7 crore . 


The officials searched five places belonging to the accused and found documents pertaining to two Sites, 2 Houses,11 Acres agricultural Land. 
The officials also recovered cash Rs.2.09 lakh and Rs. 32 lakh worth ornaments,Rs.29 lakh worth vehicles and Rs. 23 lakh worth household articles from her


M N Yagnendra,AEE,Mysuru Development Authority, Mysuru.The officials searched four places belonging to the accused officer and found a total of Rs.1.6 crore worth disproportionate assets from him. 
This includes four Sites, one House,two Acres agricultural Land.Apart from this cash Rs.86,000,  ornaments worth Rs.31.2 lakh,vehicles worth Rs.8 lakh were recovered Shanth Kumar H M,Executive Engineer(V),MRT Section, MESCOM,Attavara Mangaluru,and recovered disproportionate assets total worth Rs.2.4 crore from him. 
The officials searched three places belonging to the accused and found documents pertaining to 3 Sites,2 Houses. 
The officials also recovered Rs.28.2 lakh worth ornaments,Rs.9.6 lakh worth vehicles,Rs lakh worth household articles, Rs.74.7 lakh worth bank balance from him


Jaganath G P, Food Inspector,Hassan Taluk,Hassan Dist was booked under Disproportionate Assets case and found Rs.1.9 crore from him
The officials searched four places belonging to the accused and found documents pertaining to seven Sites and a house.Apart from this the officials also recovered cash ₹ 89,000, ornaments worth Rs.14.3 lakh, Rs. 6.2 lakh worth vehicles from him.
