Bengaluru CCB Police have Seized 1.5 kg of cocaine and 1,930 ecstasy pills substances worth Rs.1.52 Crore.
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police of Women and Narcotics wing have busted a biggest as Major drug haul racket in Bengaluru and arrested two Africans nationals and a software engineer.
The sleuths have also seized cocaine and ecstasy pills with the vehicle used in crime altogether worth of Rs.1.52 Crore which were supplied to parties,Hi-end pubs and discotheques by the accused.
The accused has been identified as,Faith Chuks alias Iwa (34) who hails from South Africa and Kante Henry (24) from Guinea, both the accused were residing in Kacharakanahalli.The third accused is Pratheek Shetty (29), a resident of New Thippasandra, who hails from Mangaluru.
Addl CP Crime,Alok Kumar,told media persons that,The CCB teams raided three places and seized 1.5 kgs of cocaine,1,930 ecstasy tablets,a car, a two-wheeler and cash.The total worth of the seized items is Rs.1.52 crore.The Africans had come to India on student visas several years ago but did not complete their education.They are claiming that they got the drugs from Mumbai from their African friends but we have to investigate them,and it was found Faith Chuks was the kingpin of the racket.Pratheek Shetty,a BE graduate,has been working with a software company since the last two months.He knew the other accused for many years and introduced trustworthy customers to them, it is revealed that the accused sold one gram of cocaine for Rs 8,000 and one ecstasy pill for Rs.1,500 he added.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner,T.Suneel Kumar said,The bengaluru police has taken up a serious drive against the drug peddlers and to control this menace we are instructed all of our officers to keep a special watch and conduct drives.As part of that Central Crime Branch women and narcotics wing of Bengaluru city police have raided a house near Kacharkanahalli under Banasawadi Police station limits based on credible Information and caught hold of 2 African nationals along with a Indian who is a software engineer who used to help them in supply of drugs in Hi-end Pubs,Hotels and discotheques.
These two fellows the African nationals are in Bengaluru they have a visa of student visa. The particulars of which college what course they are doing here has been roped by the team.The other person the Indian by name Prateek Shetty a resident of Bengaluru in Karnataka who is a software engineer who is a getting a good salary of Rs.50-60 thousands per monthly.But he is hand-in-glove with these people in supplying drugs mainly to the youths in the parties and the pubs discotheques and earn ease money by these so this information was given to us so after getting the information the CCB Police teams raided three places and seized 1.5 kgs of cocaine,1,930 ecstasy tablets,a car, a two-wheeler and cash.The total worth of the seized items is Rs.1.52 crore has been seized from their possession in these some consumers as customers are even women also.When reporters asked that drug peddlers are very much active near schools and colleges,Suneel Kumar said colleges and schools we are mostly it is founding it is the Ganja.
The Hi-end drugs which is the costly drug is not there near schools and colleges.It is mostly to the parties where the parties which are being organized among themselves one of the friends or somebody where the licensed pubs are there those licensed pubs,discotheques are there this is a closenet connectivity so that it is not they are sold to each and everybody.What are the loopholes so that they are easily continuing after strict warning also,Kumar said this is a huge menace it cannot be controlled in one day or two days or in a month also it has to be a continuous efforts from all of us from the people also that’s what we have given a 1908 a toll-free number to tell us about this type of characters as it is a continuous fight against drugs that is the reason with efforts and cases really lot off lot off lot off signals have gone inside these drug peddlers in Bengaluru.Lot of them have got the signal that the police will not going to spare them and they are very serious even arresting these two African nationals we have got lot of applauds which cannot be disclosed now they said he is the pin as kingpin

we will give them awareness of this effects what we can do as what action we will initiate so on 14th we are planning to get a congregation of this end users especially the youths.So far we have listed 40 consumers names in which some of them are regular and some are new to find all these details we need to analysis their call details they are regular or not mostly youth are targeted by these people in between age of 30-33 aged people are consuming drugs as 15 days back we have arrested Martin duke along with his associate Kunal who is a businessman is also age of 30-33 once again we strongly appeal to youths to not consume drugs as say no to drugs and say yes to life stay safe and make others also to leave safely and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,T.Suneel Kumar,has appreciated,Addl CP Crime,Alok Kumar,DCP Crime,Girish.S,ACP,B.S.Mohan Kumar,PI,Smt.Ayesha,PI,
