The Kamakshipalya police arrested a 45 year old private firm employee who stabbed his colleague to death over a trivial row on Friday.
The accused has been identified as Rajesh.
Senior officer told reporters,a murder was reported in kamakshipalya police station limits,in which assailant stabbed a person to death for trivial row.
Kamakshipalya police inspector, Prashanth and team swung into action and visited the crime scene and after inspecting the spot and collecting information the team zeroed in on one Rajesh on suspect and during investigation in their own style the accused confessed the crime.
The accused said he was upset with Keshava accusing him of favouring female employees and ignoring others where both used to work in kottigepalya in a vegetable firm unit.
On Friday Rajesh was drunk and had arguments with the same issue.In the melee he took knife and stabbed Keshava killing him on the spot.
The other staff rushed Keshava to a nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
Based on the complaint the police arrested Rajesh under murder and recovered the weapon and further investigation is on.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated Addl CP West,Soumendhu Mukherjee,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil,ACP, Nanjundegowda,PI,Prashanth and his whole team who has cracked the case and arrested the accused and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
