First it was the disturbing ban on Kashmir Reader, today it’s NDTV, and tomorrow, they might come after any of us, or even all of us.
At Nasheman, we believe in the independence of media, and for the past 55 years of our existence, we have always taken positions in the interest of the public, irrespective of the political consequences thereof.
So, in protest of the gag order against NDTV, and the prevalent hostility against the media in general, we will be going offline from November 9 (1pm) to November 10 (1pm).
