The natural Environment or natural world encompasses all living and nonliving things, occurring naturally .The term is most often applied to the earth or some parts of earth. This environment encompasses the interaction of all living species, climate weather and Natural Resources that affect human Survival and economic activity. In Contrast to the natural environment is the built Environment. The natural Environment is greatly changed into a simplified human environment. Natural environment is often used as a synonym for habitat, for instance when we say that the natural environment of Giraffes is the Savanna.
Earth Science generally recognizes four spheres. The lithosphere. The hydrosphere. The atmosphere and the Biosphere as correspondents to rocks. Water. Air and life Respectively.
Water on Earth.
Oceans: is a major body of saline water and a component of the Hydrosphere, an area of some 362 million square Kilometers. Is Covered by the ocean , a continuous body of water though generally recognized as several separate oceans. These water comprise one global, interconnected body of saltwater often referred to as the world ocean or global ocean.
Rivers:A river is a natural watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing toward an ocean, a lake, a sea or other rivers. A few rivers’ smileys flow into the ground and dry up completely without reaching another body water. The water in a river is usually in a channel made up of a stream bed between banks, rivers are a part of the hydrological cycle. Small rivers may also be called by several.
Lakes:A lake(from latin lacus)is a terrain that features a body of water that is localized to the bottom of the basin . A body of water is considered a lake . When it is inland it is not part of an ocean and is larger and deeper than a pond. Natural lakes on earth are generally found in mountainous areas; all lakes are temporary over geologic time scales as they will slowly fill in containing them.
Ponds: a pond is a body of standing water, either natural or man-made that is usually smaller than a lake. A wide Variety of mab-made bodies of water are Classified as ponds. Ponds and lakes are Distinguished from streams by their current speed.
Ecosystem: An ecosystem also called as environment is a natural unit consisting of all plants, animals and Microorganisms biotic factor in an area functioning together with all of the nonliving physical abiotic factors of the Environment. The community is in a given area interacting with the physical environment so that a flow of energy leads to clearly defined trophic structure, biotic diversity and material cycles. ie, exchange of materials between living and nonliving parts within the system is an ecosystem.
Biomes:are terminologically similar to the concept of ecosystems, biomes are defined on the basis of factors. Such as plant structure. (such as trees, shrubs and grasses)Biomes are often identified with particular patterns of ecological succession and climax Vegetation.
Biogeochemical cycles: global biogeochemical cycles are critical to life, most notably those of water. Oxygen carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus.
1.The nitrogen cycle
2.The water cycle
3.The carbon cycle
4. The oxygen cycle
5. The phosphorus cycle.
In some culture the term environment is meaningless because there is no separation between people and what they view as the natural world or their surroundings specifically in the united states and Arabian countries many native culture do not recognize the”Environment or see themselves as environmentalists”
It is the common understanding of a natural environment that underlies environmentalism. A broad political and philosophical movement that advocates various actions and policies in the interest of protecting what nature remains in the natural environment.
Elimination of pollution and toxicants in air water, soil, buildings manufactured goods and food.
Preservation of biodiversity and protection of Endangered species.
Conservation and Sustainable use of Resource such as water, land, air energy, raw materials and natural Resources.
Halting human-induced global warming.
Shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy in Electricity heating and cooling and transportation.
Establishment of natural reserves for recreational Purposes and ecosystem preservation.
Slowing and stabilization of human population Growth.
Conclusion.
Human beings and other living Creatures depend upon Environment and natural surroundings . We can save our environment by pollution control laws should be imposed Strictly: Restriction on the use of fossil fuels should be imposed our environment is what houses and helps our ecosystem grow and thrive without protecting and taking care of our environment were putting so many lived at danger such as Animals, plants and crops and even our own. All of these Ecosystem that make up our environment are deeply connected.
