Shot in total secrecy, highly anticipated Mukkabaaz, has packed many surprises. Indian cinema’s finest actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in for a special song, “Mushkil Hai Apna Mel Priye”. Penned by Sunil Jogi, the song is hugely popular in North India. Given that the powerhouse performer represents that part of the country, director of the film, Anurag Kashyap thought him as the perfect choice for the song. Anurag says, “He flew in on the day of the shoot to Bareilly, filmed all night and left. He shows off a few moves but there’s no real dancing. Nawaz will do anything for me, I love him. It talks about class differences and when I met Sunil at an award function, I asked him if I could use his poem as it defines the love story in Mukkabaaz. In the 10 days of the shooting schedule, the major part of film were shot at Saraswati Bal Vidya Mandir, Naini, Ewing Christian College, Aral Ghat, Sangam, Ganga Ghat, Indian Anglo College and many other outdoor locales of Allahabad. It has been proved that the historical & cultural heritage, the pilgrim city Prayag inspired the producers & the director for their movie’s locales. The writer Dhiraj Mishra once again had chosen Allahabad for his 3rd movie shoot. Deepika Chikalia Topiwala will be seen on the screen after a long time in producer Ghanshyam Patel’s Gaalib. Tandon says that the idea of starting a beauty vlog germinated when she was flooded with requests for the same by her fans. “I saw this as an opportunity to reciprocate my fans’ love. I will be addressing skin concerns & questions related to beauty that I get asked so often.” While one may assume that the actor will recommend high – end skincare products that will burn a hole in their pockets, Tandon asserts that she suggests only “home remedies.” “I share all the home remedies that have been passed on to me. The tips that I suggest are easy to follow. The videos too are conceptualized by me,” she says of the posts that drop online every Wed. Taking advantage of the interactive nature of social media, Tandon adds that she intends to take the project ahead by having interactive sessions with her fans in the near future.“ Right now, we post the videos once a week.
