Bengaluru: Hi Cabs, a new entrant to the cab rental market announced the launch of its services in Bengaluru today. Well-prepared to address the pain-points currently faced by users of online cab rentals, it is equipped to transform the space, thereby, increasing the level of convenience for customers. Hi Cabs would provide services without any surcharges and cancellation fees.
The company, understands well the increasing carbon footprint that includes growing levels of particulate matter in the air and wants to create more awareness about environmental sustainability.
It has partnered Saytrees.org, a leading NGO in Bangalore to plant a tree for every 100 rides and targets a total of 2, 50,000 trees in Karnataka in a span of 5 years.
Speaking at the launch, Joe Mathews, Director and Founder, Hi Cabs said, “Having gained the experience in the online-car rental industry, I understand the customer’s perspective and want to fill the existing gaps through efficient service.” He further added, “Being passionate about the sustainable future, we will regularly introduce many environmental-friendly measures that will benefit the entire ecosystem”
Hi Cabs, also will bring in new technology and innovation in its features and service model that will lead to major transformation in the industry.
The charges will be at Rs. 6 per km and is free of surcharges and cancellation fee. Currently Hi Cabs has 2,000 cars and is expected to increase up to 10,000 cars in the next year.
Customers can download the Hi Cab app from google play store. Currently based in Bangalore, Hi Cabs plans to expand to other cities in the future.
