Whilst interacting with the media, as he hosted his latest film Mayurakshi, to his close friends in Mumbai & Bollywood, Bengali Superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee stated that he considers Aamir Khan as a co – traveller in good content cinema, as he does similar kind of content driven films.
Prosenjit Chatterjee further averred, “Aamir is a good friend, and we share a mutual respect, as we believe in good content driven films, even as we balance & experiment with mainstream cinema. He even produces content driven films, so I can connect with him & I respect him. I am also proud to showcase our film Mayurakshi, here in Mumbai, as well as Pan India in Hyderabad, Delhi & Bengaluru.”
Prosenjit Chatterji also enlightened, “It is also the 1st time ever where the legend of Bengali Cinema Soumitra Chatterjee & Me will be working together. it is a very sensitive film, directed by Atanu Ghosh and will be in the realms of classic Bengali films”
