Bengaluru, Town hall:Kashmir Society, a organization for the welfare of Kashmir, on 24th August went on a protest against the continuous communication blockade in Kashmir in the concern of article 19 (Freedom of speech and expression) at Town Hall. Understanding the right to freedom of speech and expression, they urged the government to end the communication blockade in Kashmir, which is leading to the unavailability of basic needs like internet, medicines etc, making the life of Kashmiris miserable. Addressing the gathering a Kashmiri said, “we have all gathered from different walks of life, different ethnicities, different religion, different all bound with one quintessential idea of human freedom that transcends all boundaries and differences. We urge the government to end the communication blockade and other restrictions that are being stringently imposed and ensure an immediate transition to normalcy so that we can get back our daily lives.. “
