Ratan Tata Death: Ratan Tata reportedly breathed his last at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the last rites of industrialist Ratan Tata on behalf of the Government of India. Currently, Ratan Tata’s body is kept at NCPA lawns, Nariman Point in Mumbai for people to pay their respects and homage to the philanthropist.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the last rites of Mr Tata will be performed with full state honours. During this period, the national flag will fly at half-mast in government offices in the state and no entertainment or entertainment programs will be organized. CM has announced state mourning on Thursday (October 10).
Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons and a philanthropist, died on October 9. He was 86. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital in a critical condition, where he breathed his last. Several politicians and industry leaders have expressed shock and grief over Ratan tata death.
