The Bengaluru Rural Railway police have registered a murder case following a mysterious death of 64-year-old,Ayalasomay Ajula Kaaliprasad Rao,a project consultant in Hyderbad and father of Tollywood signer (harini)on the railway track between Yelahanka and Rajanukunte on Monday.
Senior officer told media persons,The body was initially noticed by a Loco pilot of Nanded express who in turn alerted the Yelahanka station master.
Based on the complaint the police rushed to the spot and noticed the injuries on forehead,cut injuries on wrist and neck .
The police also recovered a knife, blade and scissor from the spot.The police shifted the body to MS Ramaiah hospital for post-mortem and awaiting PM report for further investigation.
Initial probe revealed that the deceased had come to the city on business and checked into the star hotel on last Saturday (13/11/21 ).He booked a Uber on Monday to go out of the hotel and that was the last time he was seen.
Meanwhile Shalaini Rao Ayalasomayajula,city based Psychologist filed a complaint with the police alleging that her father has been murdered by unknown persons and dumped the body on the railway track .
Ms.Shalini said that AK Rao had come to the city on November 13 on business and stayed in a hotel.He spoke to her on November 19.She got to know about his death from her mother on tuesday when she called to inform that Yeshwanthpura railway police had called her to inform based on the mobile numbers they had obtained from the spot.
AK rao had a multiple injuries on neck,hands and plam and suspected that it could be a murder , she reiterated.
It may be recalled that AK Rao has been accused in a cheating case filed in a Sadduguntepalya police station recently.
A businessman accused him of recommending to invest Rs.2 crore in a company and got cheated .
The Karnataka Railway police have begun their investigation into the murder case of AK Rao,the father of famous Telugu singer Harini Rao,who was found dead on the railway tracks between Yelahanka and Rajanukunte in the outskirts of Bengaluru on November 22.
The Bengaluru Rural Railway police, who registered a murder case on Friday after Rao’s body was found, are investigating the matter and special police teams have been formed to probe the case he added.
