NTR Joins The 50 Crore Rupees Club
Joining a super big – ticket club is a coveted accomplishment in a feat -hungry industry like Tollywood. NTR may not be after feats, but his fans have for long wanted their matinee idol to join the 50 Crore Rupees Club. As such, Baadshah’s failure to make the cut by a not – so – huge margin (it fell short of 3 crore rupees) was a matter of some disappointment. Ever since that film, NTR has been awaited to join the league of 5 Telugu stars namely Ram Charan (Magadheera), Pawan Kalyan (Gabbar Singh & Attarintiki Daredi), Mahesh Babu (Dookudu & Srimanthudu), Allu Arjun (Race Gurram) & Prabhas (Baahubali. NTR has become the 6th Telugu star to achieve this feat.
Vijay Sethupathi Enacts The Character Of Soodhu Kavvum Once Again
The versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi presently has many films in his kitty and one among them is Rekka. The film is touted to be an action film set in Madurai and Lakshmi Menon is acting as the lead heroine in this film. In a recent interview, the film’s director Rathina Siva has revealed that Vijay Sethupathi plays a kidnapper in the film and Lakshmi Menon plays the role of a village belle. Incidentally speaking Vijay Sethupathi had played a kidnapper in his cult classic hit film Soodhu Kavvum and this will be the 2nd time he will be portraying the role of kidnapper. But the director reveals this is a much serious kidnapper role unlike Soodhu Kavvum which used kidnapping episodes for comedy.
Sivakarthikeyan Reacts To Trisha’s Words About Him
Sivakarthikeyan’s star value has skyrocketed with his recent film Rajini Murugan being declared as a super hit venture. Now the actor is acting in a film directed by Bhakyaraj and he will be teaming up with Mohan Raja of Thani Oruvan fame later this year. Recently there were rumours that actress Trisha who has completed more than a decade in the film industry as a heroine and still goes strong has rejected to act as the heroine opposite Sivakarthikeyan. In a recent twitter interaction with her fans Trisha had revealed that there is no truth in the news and she would love to work with the Ethirneechal actor any time. What more, Sivakarthikeyan has noticed this interaction and has promptly acknowledged Trisha’s gesture with a Thanks, in the same tweet trial.
Dhanush & Anirudh Team Up Again
There has been a widespread talk amongst the Kollywood town that Dhanush broke up the DnA label and parted his way from Anirudh after the beep song controversy. Now the pan Indian actor has ignored this buzz as a rumour. Suriya & Trivikram Movie Finalised
Kollywood actor Suriya came all the way from Chennai to Hyderabad to meet the maverick director Trivikram Srinivas to discuss about his upcoming Telugu – Tamil project. The actor – director met in a star hotel and have finalised the project. After the meeting, Suriya left for Chennai and Trivikram gave a send off to the actor up to the airport. The project will go onto the sets once Trivikram wraps up his next release A…….Aa. Meanwhile, Suriya is awaiting the release of his upcoming sci – fi thriller 24. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film will see Suriya in triple role. The makers are planning to release the film on 14th Apr, 2016. It is learnt that Suriya will simultaneously work for Singam 3 and an untitled Trivikram’s project from the summer month of 2016.
Venkatesh Turns Kick Boxer
Victory Venkatesh has carved a niche for himself as a remake hero of Telugu cinema. Most of his films are remakes from other South Indian languages or from Bollywood. After enticing the audiences with remakes like Drushyam & Gopala Gopala, the actor will act in another remake and this time he has chosen Bollywood film Saala Khadoos. Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, the film is poised for 29th Jan, 2016 release. Starring R. Madhavan & Ritika Singh in the lead roles, the film is a bilingual in Hindi & Tamil. Venkatesh watched the film in a special screening and evinced interest to remake it in Telugu.

Mollywood Pays Last Respect To Kalpana
Actress Kalpana’s death came as a shock to the entire film fraternity. Most of the M’Town celebrities turned up for the funeral which was held recently at Thripunithara, Kochi. While many were present at her flat, others also paid respect to her earthly remains before being cremated. Mohanlal, Dulquer, Fahadh, Nazriya, Prithviraj, Kunchako Boban, Kavya Madhavan, Maniyanpilla Raju et al were present. Her family, including 2 sisters Urvashi & Kalarenjini, Urvashi’s ex – husband Manoj K. Jayan and others were inconsolable. Most of the actors including Anoop Menon, Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Dulquer et al posted about their encounters with Kalpana. Prithviraj said that he was on the same flight with Kalpana to Hyderabad, recalling their conversation. The untimely death has greatly affected everyone.
Anoop Menon To Play Manju Warrier’s Husband
Manju Warrier has an interesting role of a volleyball coach in an upcoming movie. The movie is titled Karingunnam Sixes and is being directed by Deepu Karunakaran. The actress will play a married woman in the movie. Anoop Menon will play her husband in it.
Anoop Menon & Manju Warrier had shared screen space in Paavada. which was released recently. Manju had a cameo in it. She had played the role of Anoop’s love interest in it. The shooting is all set to begin by the 2nd week of Feb, 2016. Trivandrum will be the major location.

Prakash Raj sitting in the posh room erected by national award winning art director Shashidhar Adapa says the film proceedings is about the happenins in the life of an affluent person for 2 days. The room set is the main beauty of the film says Prakash Raj. On the subject borrowed from Malayalam, Prakash Raj says it has been very neatly adjusted to the environ of the Kannada cinema.
