Bengaluru: St. Francis Xavier Girls High School is one of the oldest and prestigious schools in Bengaluru. The school is having their annual carnival named, ‘Xavier Exotica’.
Speaking to Nasheman.in, principal of the school, Sister Malar Joseph told that the Xavier Exotica would be held on 18th and 19th of December 2015 in the school premises.
The carnival starts from 10 AM to 10 PM and the entrance fee is Rs. 50 and a discount of 50% has been offered for the students producing their ID cards.
They have a variety of programs lined up. On the 18th Dec, they have a musical play Book of Carols by about 500 students of school students at 6.30 PM.
On the 19th Dec 2015, they have a pet show, exotic birds display, magic show and an exclusive ladies dance.
Further, Sister Malar Joseph told Nasheman.in that they have a variety of food stalls, like chats, Biryani, Chinese food stall along with chicken and katti rolls, ice cream, etc.
They also have an amusement park wherein the charge will be Rs.20 per head.
Sister Malar said that they expect a crowd of around 5000 to 6000 people at the venue. The carnival is organized by the parents and teachers association of St. Francis Xavier Girls High School and sisters of St. Josephs Tarbes.
All the proceeds of the carnival will go to the St. Josephs orphanage. The chief guests will be Sister Mercy Jacob, Mother Superior of St. Josephs Tarbes and Kannada Film Star Aindrita Ray.
