Writer – Producer – Director Vikrant More recently had a Grand Trailer launch of his Wings To Bollywood Entertainment’s soon to be released Hindi film Face Of truth in Hotel The Grand Peninsula. The trailer launch was held in Shaikh Foundation’s Awards Presentation Ceremony. The film Face Of Truth is based on a social awareness topic dealing with the burning issue of child suicide and also their mentally oriented varied depression problems. The film Face Of Truth also bagged an award for the “Best Film On Child Welfare” from Shaikh Foundation. The Trailer Launch function of Face Of Truth was well attended by Bollywood Celebs, Historian Vivek Agarwal, Chief Spokesperson of National Congress Party Nawab Malik, President of Shaikh Foundation Gulnaaz Shaikh et al. The film Face Of Truth is all set to release on the auspicious day of the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on 14th April, 2017.
PVR PICTURES TO DISTRIBUTE ‘ANARKALI OF ARRAH’
PVR Pictures has now come forward to distribute ANARKALI OF ARRAH, produced by Priya & Sandiip Kapur, written & directed by Avinash Das and starring Swara Bhaskar, Sanjai Mishra, Pankaj Tripathy, ishhtiaq Khan, has music by Rohit Sharma. The plot of the film revolves around an erotic singer from Arrah, a small town in Bihar. She epitomizes a common feature of the local culture of the region at naach parties. The female performers of these orchestra parties sing songs replete with double meaning as well as obviously lewd & direct sexual references & innuendos. Anaarkali is the star performer of her troupe. The feisty Anaarkali knows the ways of the world and is ambitious as well as confident of her success. Until a fateful day when during a performance Anaarkali gets molested on stage by a very powerful man of the region. What follows is a series of events that causes the conflict between the 2 to escalate as Anaarkali refuses to compromise. The world around her turns increasingly vicious & misogynist. RAHUL SHARMA & ASIN’S 1ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Asin & Rahul who had married in a dreamy multi – cultural wedding last year recently celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary. Not much was known of how they celebrated this occasion but we have gotten our hands on a few photographs of how the couple spent the day and must say it is not what you would imagine! Asin & Rahul handpicked a few shelters for mentally challenged boys, orphans, abused & homeless kids and decided to make the day special for them on their 1st wedding anniversary. They brought with them supplies, food, gifts & financial help to these institutions and spent time with the kids there sharing lunch. Must say these 2 are setting an inspiring example.
INDIA’S 1ST DOGOMANCE (DOG ROMANCE) LAUNCHED
Where Eagles Dare Entertainment’s 1st production called BRUNIE goes on the floors next month. Billed as India’s 1st dogomance, the film traces the love story between Brunie & Kalu, 2 pariah dogs who go on to change the mindsets of the humans around them. While Brunie & Kalu have already been cast, the filmmakers are now looking to cast the humans in the film, and the auditions for the same are in progress at the moment. BRUNIE has been produced by Suraj Chitre & Uday Athavale and is directed by Suraj Chitre. Suneet Vats will be the Director of Photography for the film being choreographed by Naimesh Bramhabhatt. 2 important people in the crew are dog trainers Joseph & Selvis who have a history of training dogs without any stress to the animals. The music of the film has been given by Sukumar Datta, a former Pritam associate who has just composed a title track for the Hollywood film PASSENGERS. Also among the composers are Ameya Shildhankar & Vinay Katoch while the lyrics have been written by Tarun Bisht. BRUNIE has been conceptualised by Tejpal Wagh while the screenplay & dialogues have been written by Suraj Chitre.
ADITYA NARAYAN PERFORMS HIS LATEST SINGLE “YAARA” FOR THE 1ST TIME FOR MUMBAI POLICE
Singer, host & actor Aditya Narayan who is well – known for giving playback to many hit chartbusters like “Tattad Tattad” & “Ishqyaoon Dishkyaoon” was recently spotted at Umang 2017. Aditya had his commitments in Pune on the same day but he wound up early and rushed directly from Pune to the venue just for the love & respect he has for our Mumbai police. Despite Aditya’s tight schedule he managed to reach at the Umang 2017 as he had already given them a commitment. Aditya was excited to perform in front of Mumbai police and it was indeed a special one as he was performing his latest single “Yaara” for the 1st time on stage. It is his way of showing gratitude & respect for Mumbai Police. Aditya avers, “It was a great experience while performing in front of our brave hearts. I was really looking forward to performing for the Mumbai police who work so hard day in & day out to keep us safe. I had an event in Pune that got a bit delayed hence I had to rush back but I got here in time and I am glad I had a chance to perform here at Umang 2017.”

In his monologue, Akshay says that for a population of 125 crore, India has only 21,000 judges & 3.5 crore pending cases. The trailer also throws light on how difficult it is to be a lawyer in our country. Speaking about the trailer, Akshay avers, “The new trailer reveals a new side of the film. It shows that a common person has it in him to stand up & fight for what is right, and that he can stand up against the corrupt & the powerful. The trailer is the soul of our film. We are thrilled that we are getting such an amazing response.” Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film releases on 10th Feb, 2017.
SALMAN SUPPORTS WONDERCHEF GIRL TUMPAKUMARI
Tumpakumari, a visually challenged 16 year old girl was discovered through a viral video on Internet 2 years back. Rest, as they say is history. Wonderchef, the Home Appliances brand came forward to support Tumpa, brought her to Mumbai and is now ensuring her stay, education & music training. Hariharan acknowledged Tumpa’s talent and agreed to train her directly under him. Tumpa became an internet sensation this week when Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted her video in which she is singing “Sun raha hai na tu” from the movie Aashiqui 2 and requested CEO of Colors Channel Raj Nayak to consider the girl for their TV show rising star. Ever since Salman made a tweet in appreciation of Tumpa the video has gone viral and has been retweeted by more than 2.7k people and with over 11k likes. TumpaKumari, an orphan, hails from Ranchi and her talent was identified by Wonderchef back in 2014 and that’s when the Managing Director Ravi Saxena & Chef Sanjeev Kapoor decided to support her by sponsoring all of her expenses & brought her to Mumbai. Ravi Saxena avers, “Tumpa possesses an extraordinary talent and we are supporting her in & out so that she can fulfill her dream of becoming a playback singer. ”
