New Delhi: Amidst the controversy triggered by stand-up comedian Vir Das with his monologue named “Two Indias” an old video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying Indians were ashamed of being born in the country before he assumed office in 2014.
The video is purported to be from 2015 when PM Modi was addressing a set of NRIs. In the video, he is seen saying “Earlier, you felt ashamed of being born Indian, now you feel proud to represent the country.”
