Scores of women police personnel and pourakarmikas were felicitated by Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Marathalli on the occasion of International Women’s day.
A panel discussion was organised on the topic-“challenges for women leadership during Covid times”. Speaking on the occasion, Ms Kavita, MC (Assistant Commissioner of Police) said, “Women face obstacles and challenges at every step. Self confidence is the most important tool to overcome challenges positively and lead society.” Media Connect CEO Dr Divya Rangenahalli said, “Hailing from rural background, Covid posed unique challenges as one had to work when the cities were locked down. We overcame these challenges as we had to risk life by working and this was possible with help from the family members.
Dr. Divya Shetty, unit head of Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Marathalli said that it was important to recognise the work of women personnel who managed their homes as well as work during the Covid lockdown time.
