The Bengaluru Traffic Police Launched Paytm Service to apy traffic fines and for a hassle free and fast payment service helping Violators to pay fine.
The pay traffic fine through Paytm was launched at Traffic headquarters as Traffic Management Centre by Commissioner of police Kamal Pant,in the presence of Joint CP Traffic,Dr.BR Ravikanthe Gowda,Paytm Senior advisor,Venugopal, Representative of Tele Brahma services,Ravi with DCPs,as,Kuldeep Kumar R Jain,Shantharaju,Sajeeth V,and with all ACPs were present during the launch.
After launching commissioner of police Kamal Pant,said by tweeting,You can now pay traffic fines through #Paytm!In our efforts towards ensuring transparency and contactless enforcement, @blrcitytraffic police has now enabled payment of the fine amount using @Paytm.
This facility is in addition to the option to pay traffic fines through BangaloreOne, the BTP website, and PDA machines.I greatly thank @Paytm for offering the payment option free of cost and Tele Brahma Services for the technology upgrade he tweeted.
In an effort to add one more step to contactless enforcement,the Bengaluru Traffic police has launched PayTM service to help violators to pay the fine.
This according to the BR Ravikanthe Gowda was to provide one more hassle free and fast payment service apart from other options available already.
Earlier there were options to pay traffic fines through Bangalore-one, BTP website and PDA machines.
However, since PayTM payment option is already in use in other states,the BTP has joined the fleet from Monday.
The PayTM company tied up with the traffic police to offer the payment option free of cost. The technology upgrade was done by tele Brahma services,a city based IT company for the police .
