HD Kumaraswamy Slams Darshan & Yash

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

HD Kumaraswamy Slams Darshan & Yash; ‘Thieves Who Are Looting Farmers’! Takes A Gig At D Boss

Now it makes sense to us why a few celebrities, such as Shivrajkumar, Sudeep and Puneeth have chosen to stay away from politics. Sumalatha’s decision to contest as an independent candidate from Mandya has triggered the JD(S) leaders.

Karnataka’s CM HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumar is contesting from the same region. Recently, while talking to the media he slammed Sandalwood actors Darshan and Yash, who are supporting Sumalatha in the campaign. He went on to call the two actors thieves, who are looting farmers. He even took a dig at Darshan for being called D Boss!

CM Slams Yash & Darshan! Previously, during a press meet, Darshan said that he and Yash are supporting Sumalatha as two hard-working bullocks. Taunting this statement of the actor’s, CM said, “This pair of bullock is not meant for ploughing the field but to raid farmers’ crops. What do they know about the difficulties of farming?” Darshan Can’t Enter Mandya Kumaraswamy further added, “There is a video circulating on WhatsApp about his comments about people of Mandya. It is below my dignity to talk about the words mentioned in the clip. If the people listen to it, they will not let him enter Mandya.” Takes A Dig At D Boss He went on to take a dig at Darshan for the title given by the fans. He said, ” What is that? Challenging Star? Apparently he’s not scared. And, D Boss! He’s a D Boss only in the cinemas.” Questions Actors’ Ethics “Where were these stars when Mandya witnessed tragedies? Did they give their shoulders to the families of those who died in the bus accident? It was our CS Puttaraju who was with the people during the crisis,” he said pointing at the actors.

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

New Delhi, Mar 26 : Actor-turned-politician and close associate of former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, Jaya Prada joined the BJP on Tuesday.

Welcoming her at the party headquarters here, BJP general secretary Bhupender Yadav said Ms Prada has vast political experience.

It was an important moment of her life, Ms Prada said.

”Whether films or politics, anything I chose, I have accepted it wholeheartedly and tried to dedicate my life to the same,” she said, adding that for the first time she has joined a national party.

Impressed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi working with all strata of the society, Ms Prada has decided to join the party, Mr Yadav said.

“Modi ate dhokla and slept during Pulwama attack” : Owaisi

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

: As controversy erupted over AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi suggesting that PM Modi ate beef biryani and slept when the Pulwama attack happened, he tweaked his statement on Monday night and changed beef to dhokla and said he is not aware of Modi’s food habits.

Owaisi again attacked the Modi government for its intelligence failure on preventing the Pulwama terror attack.

He said that he is not aware of PM Modi’s food habits, maybe he had slept off after eating dhokla when terrorists attacked the CRPF convoy in Pulwama and killed 40 CRPF jawans.

Earlier on Saturday, according to media, Owaisi had said, “You can see that 300 cell phones were there in Balakot, but you failed to see how 50 kg RDX was moved to Pulwama under your nose.”

“I want to ask PM Modi and Rajnath Singh whether they ate beef biryani and slept,” Asaduddin Owaisi added, as quoted by .

A Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy and blew up one of the buses, killing 40 men.

Several Opposition leaders raised questions on intelligence failure as to why there was no information on such huge quantities of explosives being moved in Kashmir.

The Hyderabad MP also attacked PM Modi over his recent tweet promoting Narendra Modi merchandise on Twitter under his ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign.

“Soon we will see ‘Modi Mart-mall’ giving a challenge to Big Bazaar and Walmart,” Asaduddin Owaisi said while addressing a rally.

“The #MainBhiChowkidar programme on the 31st will look even better with the attractive merchandise! Have you ordered yours?” the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted.

BCCI asks franchises to prepare sporting wickets

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

New Delhi, March 25 (Nasheman News) The first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) saw Chennai Super Kings bundling out Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for just 70 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.

While both CSK skipper M.S. Dhoni and his RCB counterpart Virat Kohli said that the pitch wasn’t how they had expected it to be, former Australia and CSK opener Mathew Hayden called it “below standard”.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now asked the IPL franchises to prepare sporting wickets for the rest of the tournament.

Speaking to IANS, a senior BCCI official said that while the board doesn’t interfere with the wickets prepared during the popular T20 league, it should not be heavily tilted towards either the batsmen or the bowlers.

“The franchises have the freedom to prepare wickets without the interference of the BCCI, but the wickets should be sporting and not heavily titled in favour of either the batsmen or bowlers,” the official said.

Speaking after the game, Dhoni had said: “I never expected the wicket to play the way it did. It was too slow and it just reminded me of the 2011 Champions League wicket. After the IPL, we came back and we had a really good season, but the wicket got relaid and all of a sudden we found it very difficult.

“I feel if the wicket stays like this, it will be tough for us also. The wicket definitely needs to be a lot better than where it is right now. Even with dew, it was still spinning big. I feel it needs to be high-scoring, even the opposition would have known that it was a slow wicket.”

“Something close to 140-150 is something you are looking at. 80, 90, 100 or 120 is really low-scoring and if you have genuine spinners in your line-up, it’s very difficult to score runs. I feel the wicket needs to be much better than how it is now,” Dhoni had said.

Echoing Dhoni’s sentiments,

Kohli had said: “It wasn’t easy to bat on, though it looked a much better surface. I thought 140-150 would have been an ideal score, especially with dew expected later on.

“The pitch was under covers for four days, but we should have batted better. 110-120 would have been a fighting score.”

Congress ‘rebel’ in fray against Deve Gowda in Tumkur

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

Bengaluru, March 25 (Nasheman News) Defying his party, Congress MP S.P. Muddhanumegowda on Monday filed his nomination from Karnataka’s Tumkur Lok Sabha constituency where Janata Dal-Secular supremo H.D. Deve Gowda is the official candidate of the state’s ruling alliance.

Soon after the 85-year-old Deve Gowda filed the nomination at the Deputy Commissioner’s office amid fanfare, Muddhanumegowda came with hundreds of his supporters to submit his papers.

As per the 21-7 seat-sharing arrangement between the two allies for the state’s 28 parliamentary seats, the Congress conceded Tumkur to the JD-S though Muddhanumegowda had won it in the 2014 polls.

“I have filed nomination as a Congress candidate. I request my leader and leaders of the JD-S to reconsider their decision and give the ticket to me only. I am confident of winning again,” Muddhanumegowda told reporters.

Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara of the Congress, who was present when Deve Gowda filed his nomination, has appealed to Muddhanumegowda to withdraw from the contest and respect the pre-poll tie-up with the JD-S.

On the other hand, pleas by Muddhanumegowda’s supporters to Deve Gowda to contest from Bangalore North were ignored and the JD-S surrendered the seat to the Congress as it did not have a suitable candidate.

Deve Gowda has shifted his parliamentary constituency from his bastion Hassan, after representing it six times since 1991, to pave way for his grandson Prajwal to contest in his place for the first time.

Prajwal is the son of Deve Gowda’s second son and state PWD Minister H.D. Revanna.

Tumkur and Hassan will go to polls in the second phase of the seven phase Lok Sabha elections on April 18 along with 12 other seats in the state’s central and southern regions. Polling in the remaining 14 seats in the coastal and northern regions will be held in the third phase on April 23. Vote count will be on May 23.

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

Kanpur, March 26 (Nasheman News) Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Murli Manohar Joshi will not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from anywhere as he has been denied a party ticket.

Congress minister Gowda to contest from Bangalore North

March 26, 2019 by Nasheman

Bengaluru, March 26 (Nasheman News) Congress on Monday night named its Karnataka Minister Krishna Byre Gowda as the party candidate to contest from the high-profile Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency on April 18.

“The central election committee has approved the candidature of Krishna Byre Gowda as Congress candidate for the ensuing general election to the Lok Sabha from Bangalore North parliamentary constituency in Karnataka,” said the party in a statement from New Delhi, quoting the panel’s in-charge and party general secretary Mukul Wasnik.

The 45-year-old Gowda is the Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister in the ruling JD-S-Congress coalition government since May 2018.

He is a legislator in the state assembly from Byatarayanapura segment in the city’s northwest area.

Gowda will take on Union Minister and sitting Lok Sabha member D.V. Sadananda Gowda, who won the prestigious seat in the 2014 general elections.

The party named Byre Gowda to contest from Bangalore North a day after the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) surrendered it in the absence of a winning candidate.

As part of the seat-sharing arrangement between the two parties, the Congress will contest in 21 Lok Sabha seats, instead of 20, and the JD-S in seven, instead of eight.

Congress general secretary and party’s state unit in-charge K.C. Venugopal said his party was thankful to JD-S supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and the JD-S for the gesture to give up the Bangalore North seat in his party’s favour.

“Together let us all reclaim democracy,” Venugopal tweeted.
