September 28, 2021 by Nasheman

AKSHATHA . T

Basically , there are two types of family joint family and nuclear family. Joint family is an extended family , which consists of our grandparents, parents , aunts , uncles, cousins, siblings. Whereas the nuclear family consists of only parents and their kids.

FAMILY
A family is like a bowl of fruits salad, different in taste, color, looks but together makes that amazing flavour which can make anyone forget their pain and make them relief. Family is the soil where our roots are held together and from where we grow as an individual attached to the roots.
JOINT FAMILY
Joint family is a type of extended family which consists of parents, their children in one household. In India , the system of a joint family from the Vedic times and was popular even when the king ruled their land.

GOING ON SINCE AGES
India has always been know for its rich culture, various languages and for the system of living in a joint family. A joint family does not only means a group of people living together , it means that these people are tied with a blood relation and choose to live in a single household for many reasons some times out of will and sometimes because of compulsion.

YOU lEARN THE ART OF SHARING
If you have ever lived in a joint family you must have experienced that sharing little joys and achievements with your family members makes them so happy. Even small achievements are by one and all and in the movements of sorrow your family is always there to support you. A kid brought up with many people is obviously more social but he also has a habit of sharing living in a joint family it has a habit of sharing from childhood. Living in a joint family makes you focus on we then on me.
EDUCATION BEYOND BOOKS
As the joint family has many elderly persons , you get a very good social education just by listening to the stories and the experience . They help you become a more mature and in times of need these are the lessons one could use for making decisions about life. All in all , living in a joint family makes one understand that there is more to education then just school books.
FEELINGS OF TOGETHERNESS
Joint family create an emotional bond between two generations and it helps to keep the family United in all the situations.
NUCLEAR FAMILY
A nuclear family is one which consists of the husband wife and their unmarried children. Soon after marriage the children leave their parental home and establish their separate household. Hence a necular family is an autonomous unit free from the control of the elders.
A SENSE OF FREEDOM
Nuclear families have more freedom as compared to a joint family system. They do not have to worry about what the other members of the household may think.
DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONALITY
Nuclear family plays an important role in the development of personality of individuals children are closer to the parents and can have more free and Frank discussion about their problems with parents which help for the better development of their personality.adults in nuclear families will learn to be independent and will take responsibility to support their family .
LESS QUARRELS
Nuclear families face less quarrels when compared to a joint family usually they are the small quarrels between a husband and wife or a child and the parents . It’s easy to convince everyone in the family in case of taking decision.
Decreasing number of joint families . Nuclear families being popularized.
CONCLUSION
Being in a joint family or nuclear family has its own advantages and disadvantages . Where joint family is full of people , who care for you , look out and is fun and happing throughout nuclear family gives you a personal space when you are in between a lot of people and are unable to hear yourself.

A Article on agriculture

September 28, 2021 by Nasheman

Sujithra S

Agriculture is an art of raising plant life from the soil for the use of mankind. The basic aim of agriculture is to raise stronger and more fruitful crops and plants and to help them grow by improving the soil and supplying water . Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy.

The word “Agriculture” is derived from the Latin word “Ager”means land or field and culture means cultivation. Agriculture is one of the oldest and primary activities of human Civilization. Agricultural activities in the world are closely controlled by physical factors.

Indian agriculture is not an exception for this. Today India is facing two main Problems concerned with agriculture. The first is meeting the increasing demand of food and other is supplying agro products for an ever increasing Population and the second is uneven development of agriculture and changing patterns of  agricultural land use. India tried to be self-sufficient in agriculture through the five year plans.

After Independence, it took systematic effort due to its unique importance . Agriculture gets more and more attention in every five year plan and priority is given for the development of agriculture in the country. At the Beginning of 1970 and later on the revolution brought about remarkable change in the field of Agriculture. The process of agriculture development is not properly channelized . Because of uneven rainfall, unavailability of basic Infrastructure facilities and unbalanced allocation of resources. The green revolution succeeded only in the areas of irrigation. The small farmers could not get the benefit of it. This creates a large gap between small and big farmers and an imbalance is created.

Agriculture land use is an important indicator of an appropriate use or misuse of land  the study shall be entitled changing the pattern of agriculture land use in sindhudurg district, the region has not been studied in-depth by any Researcher from the agricultural point of view . Secondly, this region remains untouched by land use planning and development.

Population plays a key role in the development of the agriculture of the region, the total population of the district as per 2010 was 866825 of which 90.33% in rural and 9.47% in urban population out of this total population 48.10% are male and 51.90% are female. The highest decadal population growth of total and rural population is recorded . During the decade of 2000-2011 in Sindhudurg district. The density of population in any region indicates the pressure on land

Current Situation of agriculture.

Still today this sector is not well developed and faces lots of problems resulting in low productivity of crops . As 43% of land in India is used for farming but contributes only 18% of the nation’s GDP. The poor condition of Agriculture in the country is the point of concern for indians.

Kinds of problems do farmers face?

  • Cope with climate change, soil erosion and biodiversity loss.
  • Satisfy consumers changing tastes and expectations
  • Meet rising demand for more food of higher quality
  • Invest in farm productivity
  • Irrigation
  • Lack of mechanisation
  • Soil erosion
  • Agriculture marketing.

Dramatic changes needed in the global food system.

Groundwater contaminated with arsenic is extensively used for irrigation and finds its. The United nation calls for repurposing and reforming price-distorting and Environmentally. India’s policies block farmers’ earning in order to keep food cost low for only 23.7% and 24.7% paddy produced was sold Under MSP in kharif. Agitating farmers september 12 stole 60 bags of area from a truck in Nawada District. Farmers in Bankura and Purulia rely on groundwater. Heavily contaminated with….Buffer stock of wheat and rice in the food corporation of India godowns is double the normal.

Conclusions

Agriculture technology Investments including both “advanced and traditional technologies/management practices are a game changer in terms of yield improvements and national and global food security we now can model disaggregated/locale-specific technology impact. While biophysical potential often exists to significantly increase yields. Institutions. Governance systems. Political will. And poor rural Infrastructure remain obstacles to achieving the full technological potential.

Agriculture is the process of producing food, feed, fiber and many other desired products by the cultivation of certain plants and the raising of domesticated livestock. Agriculture provides not only food but also raw materials for manufacturing industries like textiles, sugar, vegetable, oil jute and tobacco. Agriculture is not only an important occupation of the people but also a way of life, culture and custom.
