ARTICLE ON HOTEL

September 24, 2021 by Nasheman

claudia thomas

The word hotel was derived from the French language. The company hope and it’s first hotel the Taj Mahal palace in Bombay( now Mumbai) so this was the first hotel which was established in India in the year 1903.The history of Indian hotels goes back to the colonial era and started with the European aggression.

In the 17th century during the British rule western styled hotels started coming up in important cities like Calcutta Kolkata and Bombay Mumbai in the hotels of Noweredays  that too mainly in the covid 19 pandemic. There is no sanitizer facilities is done in some. The social distance sing is also not maintained properly in some of the hotels and then there is no thermal scanning is also not done in some hotels so this may effect to the people health through where they can be affected by the covid 19.So some safety measures should be taken by the owner of the hotel so if some strict to rules and regulations should be Done by the government should also look after the safety of the people health a incident that took place in  Tamil Nadu .That some of the hotels have been sealed by the government because of the spoiled Meat that they used for .Preparing some dishes like biryani kebab chilli chicken etc so the chef we’re .

Also got caught and the main thing is that because of using the spoiled meat many of the people have got vomiting lose motion and so on not only in one of the hotel it has taken place in other hotels too a girl child is also got expired because of having biryani in the hotel. many of them are being admitted in the hospital in the emergency word not only in private hospital ,government hospitals too and they are suffering.

• Conclusion :

So there should be some of the safety measures to be taken. The chief should stop preparing dishes out of the spoiled meat the hospital owners or managers have to take a decision and they have to take the chief from their job if they are not listening to them the people safety should be given more importance they have to provide people with good dishes and even the service should be good. I hope there will be a change

Akshatha.T

Sexual harassment of women at work place ( prevention , prohibition) act 2013 was passed with the objective of providing protection to the women at workplace . Sexual harassment is when one person subjects another person to an unwelcome act like grabbing , touching , pinching etc. The act covers students in schools and colleges as well as patients in hospitals right from the time of her birth or even before a girl could become victim of a crime or target of a crime .

Foeticide and infanticide

Where there is an economic or cultural preference for sons, the pregnancy diagnostic tools can lead to foeticide.

School going age

Many girls are not given the access opportunity and completion of proper primary and secondary education as compared to boys and otherwise may also suffer from discrimination at the hands of parents and teachers in their up bringing.

Marriage

Many more are tortured physically , economically and emotionally after their marriage by their husband and inlaws.

Motherhood

Women are sometimes not provided medical care and healthy food during and after her pregnancy . She is often compelled Harry to abort a female foetus.

Workplace

Often women suffer from exploitation unequal pay for equal work , lack of promotions disputite , physical , economic and emotional abuse.

Sexual harassment comes in many forms and not just a single one . It includes when someone tries to touch, grab or make other physical consents with you without your consent. Further , it also include passing comments which have a sexual meaning . No one in this world deserve to go through sexual harassment whether man or woman . We all have the right to live freely without being harassed.

We found that workers across industries experience many forms of harassment some experience sexual harassment that would rise to the legal standard of either quid pro quo harassment ,or harassment that is so server and pervasive that is constitutes a hostile work environment that negatively impacts ones work . Many also commonly experience gender harassment which is generally not about sexual attraction or sexuality at all and may not rise to the standard required to file a legal complaint nevertheless , gender harassment can powerfully shape individual experience , workplace cultures and block women’s and other targets access to opportunity and advancement , perpetuating traditionally masculine power structures gender harassing physical , verbal , and symbolic behaviours insult and degrade a target’s gender in an effort to assert power control behaviour or force those who don’t conform out of a particular job or out of the profession entirely.

There are many factors of harassment which varies from situation to situation . The most significant factor is our culture values and the relative power and status of the men and women in our society . The way women and men are brought up in our society influences their behaviour . women usually lack the confidence because since childhood their behaviour is customised to suffer silence and make compromise on the other hand men are brought up exactly Opposite to women. Such view creates an atmosphere that allows men the freedom of sexual harassment in the work place .in recent years social and political changes have brought the power game. Advancement of women in career their independence at work threatened the men .so in the tough times men try to insist on sexual favours in exchanging for benefits he can give out due to his position .

Harassment is a world wide growing problem in every sector whether it’s government sector private sector , school or institute harassment hinders with people’s educational path and career and productivity . the effecients of harassment can be physical emotional and physiological . Harassment at work place is depending it’s roots which cause adverse effects to the growth of economy which leads to lower moral and low productivity increase in absenteeism and employee turnover that cost a lot to any organisation

‘Doing good work’: BJP MLA Manda Mhatre lauds Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray

September 23, 2021 by Nasheman

Manda Mhatre

THANE: Maharashtra BJP MLA Manda Mhatre has praised Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, saying he is “doing good work” in the state.

The legislator from the opposition party in the state also told reporters in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday that whenever anyone, including from the opposition, approaches Thackeray for any work, he gives a patient hearing and useful advice.

“The chief minister is doing good work,” Mhatre said while mentioning that Thackeray had given approval for a super-speciality hospital in Navi Mumbai, which would be of great help for citizens.

“When the chief minister is supportive of our projects and gives it a push, why not say he is doing good work,” said the MLA from Belapur in Navi Mumbai.

When pointed out that the CM was facing criticism from her party, the MLA said, “A chief minister is for the entire state. As a leader of the state he has to take important decisions. If we say that he has been doing good work, what is wrong in it.”

Notably, Mhatre is among the 12 women BJP MLAs from Maharashtra who wrote to Thackeray on Wednesday, expressing concerns over rising crimes against women in the state.

Contesting from Bhabanipur is my destiny, BJP bringing in outsiders to create disturbances: Mamata Banerjee

September 23, 2021 by Nasheman

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Wednesday said contesting from Bhabanipur is her destiny and slammed BJP for bringing in outsiders to the state to create disturbances during the September 30 by-poll in the seat.

Slamming the saffron party for its “divisive and destructive policies”, the TMC supremo said that she will continue her fight against the “demonic BJP” till it is ousted from power at the Centre.

After winning the Bhabanipur by-poll, TMC will take the fight against the saffron party to other states ruled by it and she will follow the principles of Swami Vivekananda of taking everybody along, Banerjee said.

“I have been fighting against the demonic BJP government at the Centre since 2014 and will continue to do so till it is ousted from power. Those who cannot run the country properly are sending in people from other states to create disturbances here during the by-poll. We will not follow the divisive and destructive policies of the BJP, we will follow the principles of Swami Vivekananda,” she said at an election meeting here.

Taking a dig at Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri’s campaign at Bhabanipur on Wednesday, Banerjee said the minister who has failed to control oil prices is campaigning in the state.

“He (Puri) should first concentrate on bringing down fuel and cooking gas prices and then campaign for elections. During the last assembly polls the BJP leaders had come to the state, but that did not yield any result,” she said.

Slamming BJP for allegedly creating a “reign of fear” across the country, Banerjee said it does not allow opposition parties to conduct political programmes in the states it is in power.

“The BJP is running the government in the states where it is in power in the most dictatorial way. The opposition political parties are not allowed to conduct political programmes. In Tripura, they (BJP) have imposed prohibitory orders (in West Tripura district) till November 4 so that we (TMC) cannot take out a rally there,” she said.

Wondering whether Durga Puja will be disallowed in Tripura due to the prohibitory order, Banerjee said BJP should clearly state whether they will allow the people to celebrate the festival.

“The BJP leaders in Bengal used to spread canards that I did not allow Durga Puja in Bengal. I want to ask the party whether it will allow the people of Tripura to celebrate the festival as it has imposed prohibitory orders there,” she said.

Durga Puja this year will be held from October 11 to October 14.

The TMC supremo said that contesting the by-election and being elected as an MLA from her home seat Bhabanipur is her “destiny”.

“I think people want me to continue as chief minister by being an MLA from this area. I request all of you (the electorate) to come out in large numbers and vote for me.”

“My victory is necessary to continue as chief minister as it is only me who will fight against CAA, NRC, demonetisation and the anti-people policies of BJP,” she said.

Banerjee, who is herself a resident of Bhabanipur, had won the seat twice in 2011 and 2016 but had this time shifted to Nandigram where the anti-farmland acquisition movement against the Left Front government in 2007 had transformed her into a major political force.

She had made the change to take on her former protege and now a BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari in his home turf.

Though Banerjee had powered the TMC to a resounding win for a third straight term in office in the April-May election, she lost in Nandigram.

She must now win the Bhabanipur seat to ensure an unbroken stint as the chief minister.

Banerjee claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to injure and defeat her from Nandigram.

“If I speak about the conspiracy that was hatched to injure and kill me then a chill will run down your spine. I was badly injured in Nandigram in a conspiracy that was hatched to kill me and for the next one and half months I was wheelchair-bound. But that couldn’t stop me from campaigning across the state,” she said.

Banerjee was injured in her leg during a poll campaign in Nandigram in April.

The feisty TMC boss who addressed two back to back rallies in Bhabanipur Wednesday dared BJP to use central agencies to stop her from fighting against the “anti-people” government at the Centre.

“They (BJP) can use central agencies against my party leaders and me, but that won’t stop me from fighting against BJP. Instead it will further intensify my fight,” she said.

Banerjee is required to win a seat in the state assembly by November 5 in conformity with the constitutional provisions to continue as the chief minister.

The Constitution allows a non-member of a state legislature or Parliament to continue in a ministerial position without getting elected only for six months.

After her defeat in Nandigram, state cabinet minister and TMC MLA from Bhabanipur, Sovandeb Chattopadhyay vacated the seat to facilitate her return to the assembly from there.

Banerjee is pitted against BJP’s Priyanka Tibrewal and Left Front’s Srijib Biswas in the by-poll.

Congress has not fielded a candidate against her.The votes will be counted on October 3.

Delhi riots: Hearing in Umar Khalid’s bail plea adjourned to October 9

September 23, 2021 by Nasheman

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Thursday adjourned to October 9 hearing on the bail plea of former JNU student leader Umar Khalid in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case.

The hearing was adjourned to next month as Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat is on leave.

This was informed to Khalid’s counsels by the court staff through video conference.

Khalid along with several others has been booked under the anti-terror law in the case.

They are accused of being the “masterminds” of the February 2020 violence, which had left 53 people dead and over 700 injured.

In a hearing on September 3, Khalid, through his lawyer, told the court that the charge sheet in the case has made hyperbolic allegations without any factual basis and reads like a script from a web series and news channels.

The Delhi Police had earlier said that the bail plea has no merit and that it will demonstrate the prima facie case against him before the court by referring to the charge sheet filed in the case.
