The CCB officials probing the bed allotment cash for bed scam racket which was exposed by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and other MLA’s has arrested a prime suspect Kingpin who is BJP MLA Satish Reddy close aide.
The accused has been identified as,Babu,34,resident of Roopena Agrahara.

Continuing investigations into the bed allotment, the CCB officials on Tuesday arrested Babu,34, one of the prime suspects in the racket.
During investigation it was found the accused is said be close to Bommanhalli MLA,Satish Reddy,who earlier claimed to have exposed the bed allotment scam.
The team conducted a detailed probe into the matter and it was revealed that Babu,resident of Roopena Agrahara used to run the racket through Nethravathy,a social activist and Rohith Kumar who were arrested by the Jayanagar police earlier.
While Nethra and Rohith used to get the customers for the beds through thier whatsapp network,Babu used to coordinate with the bed availability and hospital details.
The accused then give them commission and keep the lion share of the money they would get from the bed allotment scam,which differ from person to person based on his financial status.
Soon after the arrest of Nethra and Rohith Babu avoided the arrest by getting admitted for covid treatment.However the CCB kept a close watch and arrested him on Tuesday.
Last week CCB team arrested accused identified as, Anthony,working as Marketing executive in Sapthagiri hospital who used to take money from patients to get bed allotted.
We produced him before the magistrate through video conference and the court has remanded him to CCB police custody till May 31 to ascertain his network and investigate more about the racket he added.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Sandeep Patil,DCP Crime-1,KP Ravikumar,ACPs,as, Gautam Kumar,Hanumantharaya,Parameshwar and other staff for the excellent investigation and arresting the kingpin of the Racket and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
