Unraveling the Truth: The Complex Case of Deception and Manipulation in Land Dealings
“A captivating fairy tale,a narrative filled with incredible events, was narrated by a land grabber and a person accused of rape, and it was believed by officials who then took legal action against multiple individuals.
In this explanation,I will discuss a case registered at the HAL police station concerning land dealings. The primary suspect, Mr.Suresh Jain, was extensively investigated by our research team from the beginning of the incident.
We discovered that Jain was the main culprit;all documents seized from Mr.Jain’s office revealed that he had fabricated land details from various websites, generating significant amounts of money with these documents.
He presented them to numerous individuals and secured substantial investments.Ultimately, the police confiscated these documents from his office.

Subsequently,he shifted blame onto Mr. Binish Thomas, despite their involvement in numerous business dealings, including many land sales facilitated by Mr. Thomas for Jain’s company.
Mr. Thomas also resolved several issues for Jain, including a complaint filed against Suresh Jain by his daughter-in-law regarding dowry torture.

Despite the various transactions they had for other businesses, Mr. Suresh Jain manipulated the information and reported the same dealings to the officials.
Jain then resorted to underhanded tactics, such as paying online media to publish videos claiming Mr. Binish Thomas was the main perpetrator, while asserting his own innocence.

Despite his efforts to reach out to many, his reputation as an accused rapist precedes him.
Mr. Binish Thomas, formerly a secretary of the NSUI and the Youth Congress state General secretary,  PCC member, INTUC DISTRICT President, legal and human rights ex president.
Mr.Suresh Jain has attempted to associate with various individuals to defame the Congress party, trying to vindicate himself.

He approached a public figure for a statement regarding the case, but they refused due to his background with the rape case and his maltreatment of his daughter-in-law over dowry issues.
Suresh Jain raped many girls, cases were filed in Vivek nagar police station and later bommananahalli,he keeps them in locked rooms owned by jain’s apartments, all these matters were reported in frontline media’s.
Furthermore,Jain attempted to bribe senior police officers to skew the case in his favor. One senior officer in Karnataka was found to be in collusion with him, which led Mr. Binish Thomas to request the case be transferred to the CCB,where manipulations continued, until finally, the case was moved to the CID.

Always Binish Thomas was the one who requested to transfer the case to CCB because he wanted the truth to come out,but Suresh Jain wants to divert others attention was going behind officials treating them in hotels wanted them to call the investigating officer and asking them to give the report favouring Jain.
Officials should not support or entertain such individuals, and all media should strive to uncover and report the actual events of the incident.

Karnataka HC sets timeline for auction of abandoned vehicles

February 11, 2024 by Nasheman

BENGALURU: The High Court of Karnataka on Thursday fixed a timeline for auction of abandoned/unclaimed vehicles parked on public roads and footpaths.

Accordingly, vehicles older than 15 years should be auctioned in 30 days. Vehicles that are 1 to 5 years old can be auctioned after three months. Vehicles that are 5 to 15 years old can be auctioned after two months.

A division bench of Chief Justice PS Dinesh Kumar and Justice TG Shivashankare Gowda passed this order after hearing Advocate General (AG) Shashikiran Shetty’s submission to a petition filed by Prashanth Rao on the issue of encroachment of footpaths.

Meanwhile, an affidavit filed by MN Anucheth, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Bengaluru, stated that a meeting was held on January 31 with BBMP officials on identifying and disposing of abandoned/unclaimed vehicles and identifying places where such vehicles could be kept. It stated that vehicles which have not been moved from footpaths for more than 15 days will be treated as abandoned. Later, they will be taken to places identified to keep them.

BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath also filed an affidavit and informed the court that palike officials will conduct periodical special drives to clear encroachments on footpaths of 609.89 km arterial roads and 734.45 km sub-arterial roads.

The chief commissioner submitted that town vending committees have been formed in eight zones of the BBMP to conduct a survey of street vendors and identify vending zones, restricted vending zones and no-vending zones. ID cards will be provided to street vendors identified by the BBMP.

He submitted that the BBMP will make efforts to ensure that vending zones and restricted vending zones are not far away from residential areas. Till such zones are identified, it will ensure that street vendors are given space to sell their goods without disturbing people’s movement.

Traffic to be allowed in Bengaluru’s Cubbon on all Saturdays

February 11, 2024 by Nasheman

BENGALURU: The Horticulture Department, in an order on February 8, has permitted vehicular movement inside Cubbon Park on second and fourth Saturdays on a trial basis for three months. Previously, traffic was prohibited on these days. While the city traffic police view this as a solution, citizens expressed outrage at the decision’s unilateral nature, advocating for a vehicle-free park.

“To ensure public convenience and facilitate smooth traffic flow, vehicles will be permitted to enter Cubbon Park from the High Court to Siddalingaiah Circle and vice versa on the second and fourth Saturdays, as a trial measure for three months,” the order stated.

During a meeting convened on January 24 by the Chief Secretary, MN Anucheth, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), suggested that permitting traffic within Cubbon Park would alleviate congestion on surrounding roads, as there is sufficient space within the park for vehicular movement, the order said. Priya Chetty Rajgopal, founder, Heritage Beku, a citizens group that aims to preserve Bengaluru’s culture and heritage said, “Cubbon Park serves as a vital lung space within the city. While Lalbagh, another comparable green area, can operate without vehicular traffic, why can’t Cubbon Park enjoy the same privilege?”

With officials focus on promoting ‘Brand Bengaluru’, prioritising vehicles over citizens contradicts the very essence of this concept as this decision has been made without consulting the citizens, she added. Divye Karde, a member of Bengaluru Skaters, said “Cubbon Park remains the sole place in the city where urban skating, serving as an eco-friendly mode of transport, thrives.” While the park has an existing prohibition on photography and camera usage, this new order is controversial and poses an even graver threat, potentially jeopardising the park’s air quality and delicate ecosystem, he added.

February 9, 2024 by Nasheman

DCM DK Shivakumar witnesses the breakthrough of Tunnel Boring machine TBM Bhadra at KG Halli Metro station on Thursday

BENGALURU: After tunnelling for 356 days, Bengaluru Metro’s Tunnel Boring Machine ‘Bhadra’ emerged at the ground level at 6.08pm on Thursday.

The breakthrough was meant to happen in the morning but was delayed twice, and finally took place by evening so that Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who was in Delhi for a protest on Wednesday, could witness the event.

the challenges encountered, chief engineer of this underground stretch Dayanand Shetty said, “The uneven geology of having a mixture of hard rock and soil definitely played a role in delaying the tunnelling process. We have had a total of 106 interventions on the cutter head of the machine.”

Interventions refer to stoppages whenever the cutter discs suffer damage and need to be replaced. “We have 42 cutter discs carrying out the drilling job. Whenever the damage suffered crosses a certain limit, we need to stop the tunnelling, carry out repairs and restart them all over again.

Sometimes, it gets rectified in a day, but sometimes it takes even a week to be set right,” Shetty explained. In Bhadra’s case, drilling had to be stopped 106 times.

With no alert about an abandoned well inside a house along the route, work had to be stopped for a week as the machine caved in while passing through this area, he explained.

Karnataka: Feb 17 deadline for High-Security Registration Plates likely to be extended

Karnataka: Feb 17 deadline for High-Security Registration Plates likely to be extended

BENGALURU: With just 10 days left for the deadline to affix High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP), only 10 lakh vehicles have complied with the rule. A total of 2 crore vehicles were registered before April 1, 2019. Many vehicle owners are not aware that they have to get the HSRP before February 17.

In August 2023, the state government had issued a notification to fix HSRP before November 17, and extended it by three months to February 17, giving people time to comply.

As crores of vehicles are yet to fall in line and the state transport department has not taken up wide publicity and awareness camps about the installation of HSRP, it looks like the government has no option but to extend the deadline once again, revealed transport department sources.

“We don’t have the exact number of vehicles that were registered before April 2019. Our estimation is that more than 1.5 crore vehicles have to get HSRP,” said Transport Commissioner Yogeesh.

We have started publicity drives asking people to get HSRP, he said, and added that nearly 10 lakh vehicles have got them and more are likely to do so in the coming days.

“I got my vehicle registered in 2018. Only recently I got to know that I have to get HSRP for my bike. I logged into ‘bookmyhsrp’ website, fed all the details it asked for and booked the registration plate. However, it will take some days for the number plate to be manufactured with the hologram, and I doubt I can get this done before the current deadline of February 17, to avoid any penalties,” said Venkatesh M, a video editor.

While there is no official confirmation if the deadline for HSRP will be extended, sources from the transport department said it is inevitable to extend it again.

Applicants to get voter IDs by Feb-end by India Speed Post: BBMP special commissioner

February 7, 2024 by Nasheman

BENGALURU: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Special Commissioner (elections) Ramachandran R said voter IDs are being dispatched in batches and most applicants will get their cards by the end of February, through the India Speed Post.

With many people inquiring about their voter IDs, officials said work on verification is going on. “It takes a long time for verification. People do not understand this. We have to call up each contact number listed to verify the details. Unless there is a response, the application cannot be processed, it cannot be accepted or rejected. This takes a long time,” said a BBMP official posted on election duty.

Ramachandran R added that there are 28 electoral registration offices in Bengaluru and additions and deletions are a continuous process. There are technical issues in printing the cards, and it is being done in batches in a systematic manner, hence there could be some delays, he said.

“All those who applied for the voter IDs and have received an acknowledgement will get their cards. For tracking and checking the record details, citizens can access the voter helpline.”

Join Feb 7 protest against Centre’s discrimination CM Siddaramaiah writes to MPs of all parties

February 7, 2024 by Nasheman

BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has appealed to MPs from all political parties in the state to take part in Karnataka government’s protest in New Delhi on Wednesday against the Centre’s “discrimination” against the state in giving grants and depriving it of its share of tax money.

The CM has written to Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Pralhad Joshi and Shobha Karandlaje and all MPs, including DV Sadananda Gowda and HD Deve Gowda, requesting them to participate in the protest.

“The state is neither getting funds from the Centre nor permission to take up development projects. As responsible elected representatives, I request you to take part in the dharna and support the state’s cause the CM stated in his letter

The CM along with his cabinet ministers, and Congress legislators and MPs from the state will hold the protest near Jantar Mantar.

In a series of social media posts, the CM also urged people to participate in the protest in large numbers. “Rallying against the Centre’s economic disparities, we call for unity in ‘Chalo Delhi’ on Wednesday at 11 am, Jantar Mantar. We stand against the unfair treatment in tax devolution and grants for Kannadigas. This movement is for Karnataka’s rights, not against any individual. Join us in this crucial protest, transcending party lines, for our collective future,” one of his posts stated

The Union government gets funds through taxes that come from the states. Under the 14th Finance Commission, Karnataka’s share was 4.71%. This came down to 3.64% in the 15th Finance Commission. Because of this, the state received Rs 45,000 crore less in the last four years.

“Our estimation is that the amount would be Rs 62,098 crore in five years,” Siddaramaiah said.

He said the Union government promised to release Rs 5,300 crore for the Upper Bhadra Project in its previous budget. But, it did not release even a single rupee. The Centre has not given its clearance for Mahadayi and Mekedatu projects.

Although the state is facing a severe drought, the Centre has not released funds for the distressed farmers, he alleged.
