New Delhi: Minister of State for Railways and BJP MP from Karnataka Suresh Angadi passed away due to COVID-19. The minister reportedly breathed his last at AIIMS in Delhi. He was 65
Suresh was representing Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency from the last four terms since 2004.
He was born to Somawwa and Chanabasappa Angadi. He is married and has 2 daughters. He is from KK Koppa, a village in Belagavi district and Belgaum Taluka.
Earlier this month, Suresh had tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the Monsoon session of Lok Sabha. He had isolated himself and recuperated at AIIMS hospital, Delhi where he passed away on Wednesday evening.
