Notorious Inter-State HBT offender arrested by CCB,Pistol,Gold ornaments worth Rs.61.5 Lakhs recovered:

The Central Crime Branch police of Women Protection Wing team has arrested an interstate burglar from Uttar Pradesh involved in over 15 burglaries in and around the city .

The accused has been identified as, Khurshid Khan,41 of Sahibabad of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The police have seized a country made pistol,Five live bullets and stolen gold valuables worth Rs. 61.5 lakh has been recovered from his possession.

Sandeep Patil,Joint commissioner of police crime,said,team led by police inspector,Hazaresh Killedar and his team caught Khurshid Khan, 41, of Sahibabad in Uttar Pradesh when he had come to the city on February,7th.

A team of police under Inspector camped in Ghaziabad area of Uttar Pradesh and were in search of the notorious burglar the team who were in action the team kept a close watch on his movements and after lot of efforts the team were successful in apprehending the burglar and brought him to Bengaluru on February 7th for further questioning.

During the course of investigation the team grilled him and the accused confessed the crime and spilled the beans about the stolen gold ornaments.

Based on his information the police team headed by Hazaresh Killedar and team escorted him and  Went to Uttar Pradesh and nabbed the receiver of stolen properties identified as Virendra Kumar, 46,a jeweller by profession.

After arresting the receiver from Uttar Pradesh the team has seized 1 kg 280 gms gold ornamnets worth 61 lakhs,1 Pistol and 5 live bullets from his possession.

A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that,Khurshid is part of five to six persons involved in burglary.He and his associates are wanted in many house breaks in the city since 2013.

The gang used to come to city by train and commit series of burglaries during day time and return back.

The accused would watch over locked house for sometime before breaking into it.

They are so proficient and quick that they would hardly take 15 minutes to loot the valuables and escape.

After committing series of offence,the accused would return to their native and sell the booty to Virendra.

Khurshid who lead the gang would use the fire arm to scare people in case of any eventuality.

The accused was earlier arrested by Hariyana police under Arms Act.He was also arrested by Delhi and UP Police.Virendra was also arrested by Delhi police.

With his arrest we have solved 15 cases were reported in JB Nagar,Kengeri,Jnanabarathi,KG Nagar,Hanumanthanagar,Vijayanagar,Mico Layout,Subramanyanagar,Byadarahalli and Nandini Layout and other police station.A case has been registered and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated,Joint CP Crime, Sandeep Patil,DCP Crime-1,KP Ravikumar,PI,Hazaresh Killedar,crime staff as,Nawaz Khan,Mufeez Khan, Raghavendra,Nagaraj,Srinivas,Ravikumar, Parashuram,and Sameer and two women staff also has been appreciated for the commendable and exemplary work done by them who has successfully nabbed the notorious burglar from his native in UP who was wanted in dozens of cases and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
