Corporate Fashion Week launched in a grand way in Namma Bengaluru

The first edition of the ‘Corporate Fashion’ week made its debut in a stylish way in Namma Bengaluru on Saturday. On the occasion of international women’s day, Team Aikyam has conceptualized a unique and one-of-its kind event-Corporate Fashion Week. This event has been designed to uplift the mood of women who have been working from home due to pandemic and give them some excitement in life.

Team Aikyam consists of women entrepreneurs, actors, models, Mrs pageant winners and fashion designers. It is a combination of women from corporate as well as the fashion world joining hands to encourage women under the concept-“Be your own label”. This is what the team wants today’s multi-talented women to believe in.

The main focus of the event is to bridge the gap between the corporate world and the fashion world, to prove that women are entitled to more than one victory, encourage women and teach them self-love, self -care, grooming and personality development skills besides helping them to balance work life and responsibilities towards home and family while taking care of themselves.

Interestingly, working women from any profession; teachers to doctors, engineers to marketers and IT professionals to entrepreneurs are participating enthusiastically. There are no age, complexion, height or weight criteria. Both married and single women can register for this event.

The auditions were organised at Tilt bar republic, Indiranagar. During auditions, the participants took part in a self introductory round and walked the ramp. The finalists will take part in self enhancement, fitness, acting, and grooming sessions for two days. The best part about the event is that the finalists will get a chance to wear costumes designed by famous designers from the fashion industry and walk the ramp with pride.  The winners will be judged on personal achievements, self presence, intellect, congeniality and confidence. Those who excel will win titles, trophies and certificates and goodies

Team Aikyam which has kick-started this unique event is planning to launch similar events in other cities of the country. Speaking to media, Ms Mamatha Kademani (renowned actor, model and a mentor and winner of Mrs. South India 2018 and the current regional director for Mrs. India (Karnataka) and the brand ambassador of FABSAY) who is also one of the founders of “Team Aikyam” said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” Ms Rasheeda (IT Consultant, Entrepreneur, Coach and Mentor with an experience of walking the ramp in front of 10k+ audience for a Global companies’ International product launch) who is also one of the founders of Aikam said, “You can achieve your dreams if you put your heart into it.” Ms Shivani De (founder at BIBO with Shivani De, Mrs. India Runner up 2019-20, Pinkathon Ambassador and former National Champion in Roller Skating) added, “We understand dreams, desires, passion, worries, and fears of women. I will handhold you to become happy and confident souls.”

Due to overwhelming response from the participants, the organisers have extended the entries to audition. For more details, please contact 86608 2066.
