The accused used a letterhead of a housekeeping company to purchase eight liters of acid citing that he needs to clean the solar panels .

After reaching Ramanasri Ashram Nagesh purchased a safron colored rob and started living and even did odd jobs in the ashram to gain the confidence of the management.

Meanwhile several police teams launched massive manhunt and even circulated posters containing the latest picture of Nagesh pasted in public places in southern parts of the city, seeking information on him.

One of the person who identified Nagesh took the picture of Nagesh from his mobile and sent it to police who confirmed from a burn injury at his right hand sustained during the attack.

A team of police posing as devotees rushed to Ashram and watched Nagesh before securing him on Friday.

Nagesh was brought to the city and while being escorted for a spot inspection the accused attacked Head constable,Mahadevaiah and tried to escape. The police opened fire to stop him from fleeing.

Home Minister,Araga Jnanendra appreciated the police effort of arresting Nagesh and assured strict punishment for the accused .

The staff behind this big catch are ASI,Shivanna and Ravi Kumar Police constable who is ex-servicemen they shared their challenging moments.

ASI Shivanna and Ravikumar are part of 50 member police team as to nab the assailant 10 teams were formed and were sent to different states in search of acid attacker.

We asked the local to share his pic and after sharing the pic we noticed burn marks on his hand and then immediately we started removing the posters as by seeing he might get alert so we removed the posters from the area and in and around the Ashram then we entered the Ashram as devotees.

After entering the Ashram we went and sat next to him on both side and we sat doing preaching as religious sage for about one hour and after keeping close watch we secured him and took him into custody.
