Bengaluru, 27nd July 2019:Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Bengaluru is all geared up for ‘Utopia 2019’– The International Cultural Extravaganza which will be on the 31st of July 2019 (Wednesday). The theme that underlies Utopia 2019 is ‘Mélange’ which translates into a blend of different cultures, performing arts, languages, or as we like to call it – ‘A Blend of Brilliance’. Organised by the Cultural & International Relations Committee of SIBM B, the event aims to bring together students from different nationalities onto one platform. Since its inception, Utopia has been a medium that has facilitated and strengthened the bond between the Indian and the international students, encouraging mutual learning & inspiration.
With the rhythm of many nations resonating across the campus, SIBM Bengaluru will be the instrument that will unify and celebrate the cultural-diversity like never before!
KEY HIGHLIGHT: One of the biggest B-School Blood Donation Drives in Bengaluru! Just like last year, there will also be a blood donation camp on the same day, and this year, we aim to break the previous record of collecting 226 units of blood.The founder of Symbiosis International University, Padma Bhushan Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, who came up with the idea of a ‘Home away from Home’ for International students, is an earnest believer of this very thought. Every year Utopia coincides with his birthday and allows the students from across the world, to relive his dream of all an-inclusive Utopia! This year’s theme ‘Mélange’ will chisel a foundation of unity from the blocks of diverse elements.
