Two Notorious Drug peddlers arrested by City Market Police and recovered drugs worth of Rs.3.30 Crore

Two Notorious Drug peddlers arrested by City Market Police and recovered  drugs worth of Rs.3.30 Crore . | Country and Politics

The City Market Police of west Division Police have arrested two notorious drug peddlers on tuesday morning and seized drugs substances worth of Rs.3.30 Crore from their possession.

The accused has been identified as, Rajaram Bishnoi,(31),of Magadi road,Suneel Kumar,(21),of Kumbalgudu both haling from Rajasthan.

Both the accused were arrested near Metro parking station.

First time in the history of Bengaluru city police in last five years huge amount of brown sugar is recovered by city market police inspector BG Kumara Swamy and team . 

Recently last week the city market police inspector and team has arrested a drug peddler identified as Vikram Khilari and based on his statement they said to have arrested the kingpin of a brown sugar peddling racket in Bengaluru and his associate who delivered the drugs to his clients. 

Senior officer told media persons that, 25 grams of pure brown sugar was among the seized items which can cause brain hemorrhage if inhaled directly. The duo wanted to dilute and sell the drug.

Police watched Rajaram and Suneel after they recently caught the drug peddler Vikram Khileri from Rajasthan with brown sugar.

They are making efforts to nab two others who were part of the racket.All of them are relatives.Though they came to the city to work as labourers, they began selling drug. 

These men lived lavishly in their native place. They owned cars and buildings. One of the accused, who is still at large, had bought an SUV during the lockdown the official said. 

DCP West,Dr.Sanjeev M Patil,addressing media said,On tuesday morning our city market police inspector Kumara Swamy BG,got a tip-off that two persons were trying to sell drugs near metro parking station.

Acting on the tip-off Inspector and his staff rushed to the spot near Metro parking station belonging to city market police station jurisdiction,inspector and his team apprehended the two persons and checked the bag that they were carrying.

During the search it was seen that it was a unusual for the bag to be having a double stitch.The inspector asked the accused to open the stitching.

The accused opened the stitching and it was found that they hided the drugs inside the bottom of the bag and sides chamber of the bag and the accused have done a restitching of it.

They opened it and they found that the bag had 125 grams of Opium,150 grams of Brown sugar,32 grams of MDMA sachets and 25 LSD strips in their possession and all the drugs substances were seized.

During interrogation the team grilled both the accused and the accused spilled the beans that they have stored more drugs at their house.

Based on the statement by the accused the team conducted a search operation at their house in Magadi road and yielded so far the total worth of drugs is Rs.3.30 Crore Drugs.

In the form of 1.280 kilograms of Brown sugar,475 grams of Opium,25 LSD Strips,32 grams of MDMA foils,Silver foiled rolls,3 mobile phones,2 motorcycles, and 3 weighing machines has been seized from their possession.

A detailed investigation was conducted by the team and it has revealed that the two accused in the case Rajaram Bishnoi and Sunil Kumar both are origin of Rajasthan and currently staying in one stays in Magadi road and other in Kumbalgudu.

And they were in the profession of selling drugs from the last two and half years and they were making use of Hollow railings to transport this drugs from others mainly Rajasthan.They used to put the materials in and seal the hollow railings and sell it across.

A case under NDPS Act has been registered in city Market police station and the recipient and the source of the drugs is looked into and further investigation is on.

Sanjeev Patil even said,in the month of September till 22nd September the officers of West Division Bengaluru city have taken drive against drugs sales and consumption very seriously.

And till Yesterday they had registered 42 cases against the peddlers and arrested 61 peddlers and had seized 51.5 kg of Ganja,600 grams of Opium,900 grams of Brown sugar,and 70 grams of MDMA and against users 121 cases were registered and 121 people were arrested till yesterday he added.

Finally,Karnataka DG&IGP,Praveen Sood,has appreciated,Bengaluru police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,Addl CP West, Soumendu Mukherjee,DCP West,Dr.Sanjeev M Patil,ACP, Ravi P,PI,B G Kumara Swamy,PSIs,as,Bhagvanthraya Patil,Smt.Shruthi G,ASIs,as,Nagappa,Puttaswamy,Ramesh,HCs as,Vijay Kumar,Rajanna,Manjunath,Channappa, Munegowda,PCs,as,Mahantesh,Mahesh, Shivappa Sajjan and Kiran Kumar for the commendable job done by them who has arrested the kingpin of brown sugar and busted the biggest brown sugar racket a reward of Rs.50,000 will be given to the team said by Kamal Pant
