Staff of the Transaction Solution international, city based electronic surveillance and cash management company, caught two persons from Uttar Pradesh, red handed near pipeline road under KP Agrahara police station limits.

The two accused has been identified as,Anand Kumar and Shahid Ahmed hailing from Uttar Pradesh.

Senior officer told reporters,The special team of Transaction solution international cash management company who were appointed to probe the fraudulent transaction in ATM got alert that miscreants are withdrawing money from SBI ATM the team of staff rushed to spot and caught when they were withdrawing cash fraudulently and keeping the cash in their account intact at an SBI ATM in KP Agrahara on Friday.

The accused Anand Kumar and Shahid Ahmed were caught within seconds after they withdrew Rs.10,000 from SBI ATM situated near jain temple in pipeline road.

Based on a series of complaints about the fraudulent transactions,Yogananda B,manager of Rajajinagar industrial estate branch outsourced Transaction solutions international company to probe the fraudulent transactions which is incurring huge loss to the bank.

The staff kept surveillance after analyzing the CCTV footage and zeroed in on the accused  while they landed at the pipeline road ATM to withdraw the cash Rs.10,000.

Inquiries revealed that the duo have used  indigenous method of jamming the cash dispenser to block the sensor at the time of dispensing  the cash.

Since the machine is jammed the transactions would not be recorded even if the money is withdrawn.

Using this the accused have withdrawn huge amounts of cash from many ATMs across the city.

Inquiries revealed that the duo had opened accounts in several banks in different banks and used the accounts for such fraudulent transactions.

It may be recalled that in March this year, Rajajinagar police arrested Deepak H,20,from Hameerpur,UP.We suspect that the accused use similar modus operandi and withdraw cash.

As soon as inserting the card and entered the pin,the accused would place the fingers inside the cash dispenser to jam and simultaneously pull the cash.

By doing this the system would send a report of technical snag to the system and the transaction is nullified and the money would not be deducted from the account with this the bank incurred huge loss our team are investigating further to ascertain their network he added.

Three police personnel of RMC Yard including inspector suspended for deriliction of duty for forcing street vendor to smoke Ganja

A woman inspector and two of her colleagues were suspended on Thursday after a police inquiry found them guilty of forcing a street vendor to smoke ganja and fixing him in a false drugs case when he failed to pay the bribe.

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant issued the suspension order of RMC Yard police inspector, Parvathamma,PSI, Anjinappa and constable,Umesh till further orders following a report by DCP,North,Dharmender Kumar Meena.

The case exposes police high-handedness in Bengaluru. The action by the police top brass came after the victim tried to kill himself because of the drug stigma, and his family filed a complaint.

Senior officer told reporters,On July 14,around 8 pm,RMC Yard police inspector,Parvathamma S picked up two men,Shivaraj and Nagendra, who were chatting outside their home near Poojamma Temple Road in Goraguntepalya.

She bundled them into her patrol car and took them to the police station. The men had to spend the entire night in the lock-up without even knowing what their crime was.Police officers allegedly demanded bribes for their release.

The next day, police let Nagendra go after booking him in a petty case but Shivaraj,45,wasn’t so lucky. He was forced to smoke a ganja cigarette and take a medical test.

Eventually, police booked him under the stringent Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.Shivaraj got bail on July 17 but was so traumatised by the turn of events that he consumed poison in order to kill himself.

His family rushed him to hospital in the nick of time and doctors were able to save him.

The family decided to escalate the matter and complained to the DCP on July 19.Besides Parvathamma, they named, sub-inspector Anjanappa and two police constables.

Dharmendra Kumar Meena, the DCP,summoned the four police officers for an inquiry and questioned them separately. But the clinching evidence was a mobile phone video recording of the incident the DCP submitted in the report to senior officers.

The video shows Parvathamma picking up Shivaraj and Nagendra from their house. This was  with the FIR’s claim that Shivaraj was picked up from Kuvempu Circle around 1 pm on July 14 by a constable named Eranna.

But according to the FIR,Shivaraj was picked up while he was returning home but he wasn’t drunk. The constable suspected he had taken drugs and took him to the police station.Shivaraj was later subjected to a medical test at a private hospital in Cox Town, which confirmed drug consumption, the FIR states.

According to the report, submitted by DCP Meena,Parvathamma detained two youths near Goraguntepalya on the night of July 14 while on patrol duty one of them was smoking a cigarette and threw it away on seeing the police vehicle.

The cops assumed he was consuming drugs and disposed them of on seeing them.He was taken to RMC Yard police station. There, the four cops gave him a cigarette filled with ganja and told him to smoke it, the report read.

As per the inquiry conducted by ACP, Yeshwanthpura Sub-Division it was found that the only reason Shivaraj was framed in the false case was that he couldn’t pay a bribe. He didn’t have any money as his groundnut business suffered in the lockdown.

After receiving a detailed investigation report DCP,Meena summoned all the four police personnel including inspector and sub inspector Anjanapa while questioning DCP Meena, grew suspicious on the body language of PSI and when he saw Anjinappa repeatedly touching the right pocket of his trousers and directed his staff to frisk the SI.

While frisking they found Anjinappa was recording his conversation with the senior officer by switching on the recorder of his mobile phone 14 minutes of the talk had been recorded secretly recorded the conversation on his mobile phone.

The police officers have been suspended until further orders says order issued by commissioner of police Kamal Pant and he warned all the police personnel that strict action will be taken if they indulge in illegal activities he added.

New Zealand to accept alleged Islamic State militant, 2 kids

July 26, 2021 by Nasheman

WELLINGTON: New Zealand on Monday agreed to repatriate an alleged Islamic State militant and her two young children, who have been detained in Turkey since February.

The decision follows a bitter dispute with Australia over which country needed to shoulder responsibility for the woman, who had been a dual citizen of both countries until Australia stripped her citizenship under its anti-terrorism laws.

The woman and her children were arrested when they tried to illegally cross from Syria into Turkey, according to Turkey’s Defense Ministry. Turkey identified her only by her initials, S.A., while New Zealand media say she is Suhayra Aden, who was 26 at the time of her arrest.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said New Zealand had taken into account its international responsibilities and could not remove citizenship from anybody if it left them stateless.

“I made very strong representations to Australia that she should be permitted to return there. Her family moved to Australia when she was 6 and she grew up there before departing for Syria in 2014 on an Australian passport,” Ardern said in a statement. “Unfortunately, Australia would not reverse the cancellation of citizenship.”

Australian Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews said the woman lost her citizenship as a result of her own actions, and that ending citizenship for dual nationals engaged in terrorist conduct was an integral part of Australia’s response to terrorist threats.

“The government’s first priority is always to protect the Australian community,” Andrews said in a statement.

Ardern said the safety and wellbeing of New Zealanders was the government’s paramount concern. She said there had been extensive planning with the police and other agencies.

“I can assure people great care is being taken as to how the woman and her young children are returned to New Zealand and how they will be managed in a way that minimizes any risk for New Zealanders,” Ardern said.

Authorities declined to say when the family would be repatriated, citing legal and security concerns.

Ardern said anybody suspected of being associated with a terrorist group should expect to be investigated under New Zealand laws, although the case remained a matter for the police.

New Zealand police confirmed an investigation was underway but declined further comment on whether the woman would face any criminal charges.
