Varun Tej’s Career Is Not Looking So Bright

The career of Varun Tej is looking not so bright. He has couple of movies on hand and is getting good remuneration as well. Yet, he has no blockbuster in his career. Kanche was the sole success. After delivering huge dud with Mister, he will now be testing his luck at the Box – Office turnstile again with Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa. Sekhar Kammula has also gone out of form with his last 2 movies. He needs to prove his mettle again with Fidaa. The teaser of Fidda is not at all interesting. On Sat, he also launched another movie in the direction of a newcomer. This film too is not hot project as per as the distributors are concerned. So his prospects for a blockbuster are looking bleak at this moment. The lanky tall hero is a handsome guy and he looked quite promising when he made his debut. But he has not been able to deliver a blockbuster.

Working On DJ Was Fulfilling Experience For Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde, last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro, avers that she had a fulfilling experience while working in the upcoming Telugu entertainer Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ. “I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ and the experience has been very fulfilling. As an actor, it’s essential a film does well, but its fate is not in our hands. What’s more important are the memories you make while working on each project.” She added, “You spend nearly 6 months on a project. You leave everything & stay with people you don’t even know. If you don’t enjoy working with them, nothing else really matters. You need to find a family in the people you work with. I’m glad I found a family in Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ.” Having mostly played the homely, girl – next – door in her Telugu films so far, Pooja has upped the glamour quotient in Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ. “Unlike my simple & good looking avatars so far, I have played a very glamorous role. It’s the kind of character that helped me grow as an actor,” she said, heaping praises on co -star Allu Arjun, “He is like a rubber man…someone who can dance phenomenally and he does it with a0certain swag. I always end up working with great dancers. It was Hrithik (Roshan) last time & now Allu Arjun,” she stated. “Each time I saw his dance portion, I’d call him and say how he nailed every step. I would tell him jokingly that I have to take extra dance lessons just to match his performance. He is a very friendly & a honest co – star.” she concludes. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film is slated for release soon. On working with Harish, Pooja said, “He is the funniest director I have ever worked with. You take any behind – the – scenes photograph and you’d find us – Harish, Arjun & I – laughing & goofing around. We had so much fun shooting.” Pooja says that Harish is very easy to work with.

Rana to Act Under Vinayak’s Direction?

Rana Duggabatti has gained great popularity with Baahubali series but his aim is now to get the success as a solo hero. He is now interacting with directors to line up his next movies. He is looking for a director who establishes him as a big star. On the other hand, his father Suresh Babu is trying to rope in V V Vinayak, who has been sitting idle after the release of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and his efforts to get dates of a top star went in vain. Hoping to begin a movie with NTR next year, he is just cooling off without any work. It has to be seen whether he would give his nod to direct Rana Duggabatti. V V Vinayak earlier rejected the offer of directing Sai Dharam Tej on the grounds that the budget is not viable. He now cannot make a movie with Rs 40 Cr budget, where as Sai Dharam Tej has just Rs 25 cr market. Hence the proposal didn’t materialize. But with Rana Duggabatti, he will not face such a problem as his movies can be dubbed into Tamil, Hindi & Malayalam languages.

Mahesh Babu Finally Moves To Koratala Movie

Mahesh Babu is back in Hyderabad. After completing the final portions of Spyder in Chennai, Mahesh Babu has landed in Hyderabad. He joined the sets of director Koratala Siva’s big – budgeted political thriller on 21st Jun, 2017. From now on, he will be completely immersed with Bharath Ane Nenu, the movie that Siva Koratala is filming right now. Siva has mammoth task on his hands to complete this movie in just 5 months, as Mahesh Babu wants it to field during Pongal festival time. For the 1st time, ever Koratala Siva is directing a movie based on another writer’s script. Sreehari Nanu, who earlier directed Bhoomika Chawla produced Takita Takita, has written the basic story of Bharath Ane Nenu. Mahesh Babu will be seen as a young politician in this drama set in the backdrop of Telugu politics. He will be sporting Khadi dresses. Mahesh Babu still has to work for Murugadoss’s Spyder in Jul, 2017 or Aug, 2017 to complete 2 songs.

Allari Naresh’s Special in #Mahesh25

The pre – production work of Mahesh Babu’s 25th film is almost done even before the superstar joined the sets of his 24th film. Mahesh’s next is with Vamsy Paidipalli who had completed the script work and is currently busy in finalizing the star cast & the crew. As per the latest buzz, Allari Naresh has been roped in to play one of the key characters in the film. Allari Naresh has reportedly agreed to do a full length supporting character in the movie. Alli Naresh has done quite a few multi – actor movies before, but he didn’t take up any supporting characters until now. Vamsy Paidipalli who has impressed one & all with his fabulous work in Oopiri is giving his best to make the landmark movie of Mahesh a special one. The film will go on the floors after Mahesh is done with Bharath Ane Nenu directed by Koratala Siva. #Mahesh25 is bankrolled by Dil Raju & Aswini Dutt.

Venkatesh’s Cameo In Pawan – Trivikram Film

Pawan Kalyan & Victory Venkatesh are going to be seen together on the celluloid silver screen once again. After sharing the screen space in Gopala Gopala the off – screen friends are now coming together once afain as Venkatesh has agreed to do a small cameo in Pawan’s 25th film directed by Trivikram. Venkatesh shares a good bond with Trivikram who was the writer for Nuvvu Naaku Nachav & Malliswari. The veteran actor has immediately agreed to do a small role in Pawan’s landmark film when Trivikram asked him. It is going to be a very funny episode that lasts for 3 to 4 minutes. Trivikram is filmed this episode recently on Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan and other star cast, told sources. With Venkatesh’s cameo the most anticipated film has turned all the more special.

With 2 full weeks of ground and a huge release in over 1000 screens, all DJ needs is average to decent talk to hit a jackpot at the Box -Office turnstiles. DJ will face competition in its 3rd week from Nani’s Ninnu Kori & Gopichand’s Gautam Nanda in its 4th week. Allu Arjun cannot ask for a better time to release his much anticipated movie as it will have 2 weeks of uninterrupted run and only a little competition in the consecutive weeks.

Rashmika Mandanna Is Not Romancing Allu Arjun

It was reported in a section of media that Kirrik Party fame Rashmika Mandanna is making her debut in Telugu cinema with Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya. However, the reports turned out false as the makers of Naa Peru Surya are yet to finalize the female lead. Director Vakkantam Vamsy wants to have one of the leading actresses in his debut film. Female lead character in the film is a very strong one that demands an experienced actress. Therefore, he is considering big names for the heroine’s character. Naa Peru Surya will start rolling shortly and aim for a release in summer 2018. Bunny will take a short break from shootings and enjoy a holiday abroad with his family. He will join the shoot of Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India from Jul, 2017.

Balayya Confirms Pongal Fight

Nandamuri Balakrishna is back in India. He wrapped up the lengthy foreign schedule of his 101st film that is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Even though, he will have to shoot for this movie for another 2 months, he has asked director K S Ravikumar to launch their movie next month. Tamil senior director K S Ravikumar will be directing Balakrishna’s 102nd movie and it will be launched on 10th Jul, 2017. Regular shoot will commence from Aug, 2017. Jaya Simha & Reddy Garu are the titles are being considered. Buzz is that Balayya specifically told the director to complete the shooting part in just 5 months and ready it for Sankranthi release. So, it is now confirmed that Balakrishna will be fighting with Mahesh Babu & Ram Charan during Sankranthi 2018 season. Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu is gearing up for the 11th Jan, 2018 release. Ram Charan & Sukumar’s Rangasthalam is also confirmed for Sankranthi. Hence a 3 way fight will be witnessed.

Ram Charan Shoots Amidst Tough Conditions

Ram Charan is braving tough conditions and shooting longer hours for his upcoming Telugu rural – based romantic – drama Rangasthalam, a source said, “It has been the toughest schedule to shoot actually!!! The call times are all before sunrise and we are wrapping up only post sunset. So it’s long days.” Being directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “The other day we were shooting a key sequence in the bushes and though Ram Charan was bruised, he was the least complaining person. Instead, he called the ongoing schedule as the most satisfactory one.” The film’s shoot is currently underway in the remote areas of the Godavari district. “The shoot will go on till the month end. Then, it will shift soon to grand sets that are being erected in Hyderabad. Art director Rama Krishna is currently taking care of the sets works in the city,” he said. The film, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad, also stars Aadi Pinisetty & Jagapathi Babu.

Gautham Nanda Excites Market

Gopichand & Sampath Nandi’s Gautham Nanda has excited the market with its teaser released a few days back. The film is all geared for a massive release in Jul 2nd week. Makers are negotiating on fewer areas as business of major territories in Telugu states is closed at unbelievable prices. For example, Dil Raju laid his hand on Nizam at a big price of Rs 6.30 crores while Ceded is closed as Rs 4 crores. Meanwhile, Hindi dubbing rights is closed at Rs 4.75 crores, fairly high and Gemini TV shelled about Rs 5.50 crores for the satellite rights. Buyers are willing to bet a safe investment on Gautham Nanda ever since the teaser captured huge mileage for Gopichand’s stylish looks & Sampath Nandi’s mesmerizing technical skills enhanced the content based on MONEY. Producers are optimistic to get the pre – release trade close to Rs 40 crores. This is highest ever figure for a Gopichand starrer. While SS Thaman composed the music, Hansika Motwani & Catherine Tresa played the female leads.

The mystery behind Kattapa killing Baahubali may have been resolved, but Varun Dhawan still seems to be smitten by the iconic moment as he recreated it with Baahubali star Prabhas, who was holidaying in US post the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion is back into the country, and recently met the Bollywood actor. “#bahubali. Did only what #katappa did before this. #Prabhas is a really cool down to earth guy more power to him (sic)” Varun,30, tweeted along with the picture of him playing Kattapa to Prabhas’ Baahubali. Both the actors were colour coordinated in blue. Baahubali 2 which released on 28th Apr, 2017 became the 1st ever Indian film to cross Rs 1,500 crore on Box – Office turnstiles. Samved School formerly known as A. V. Education Society held its golden jubilee year celebrations in the city recently. The students of the school performed a docu drama on the life of their school’s founder Mrs. Ambuja Venkataraman called “Ambujavalli”
