Congress MP Mudduhanumegowda not to rebel against Deve Gowda

March 29, 2019 by Nasheman

Bengaluru, Mar 29 : Thanks to the intervention of the AICC President Rahul Gandhi, the sitting Congress Lok Sabha member Mudduhanumegowda, who had filed his nomination to retain his seat from Tumakuru, is likely to withdraw his candidature.
He was upset over the denial of ticket to retain his seat as the Central party leaders had conceded the Tumakuru seat to alliance partner JD(S) during the seat sharing agreement.
Mudduhanumegowda was the only sitting Lok Sabha member out of 10 Congress MPs who was denied ticket to contest the general elections from Karnataka.
Upset with the denial of the party ticket, Mudduhanumegowda had decided to remain in the fray as an independent candidate after holding meeting with his supporters in Tumakuru district.
KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao and Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara, in their efforts to pacify Gowda to withdraw his nomination paper, held several rounds of talks with the disgruntled party MP.
Speaking to newsmen after his decision to withdraw to withdraw his nomination, Mudduhanumegowda said that “Party High Command has directed me to withdraw from the contest”.
Replying to questions, he said that “I will announce my decision at a meeting of my supporters in Tumakuru”.
Former Prime Minister and JDS National President H D Deve Gowda, who had fielded his grand son Prajwal Revanna from his traditional Hassan seat is the Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate and had filed his nomination papers, on March 25.
If Mudduhanumegowda was to withdraw his nomination, then it would be a straight fight between the BJP candidate G S Basavaraju and Deve Gowda in the Vokkaliga dominated Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency.

March 29, 2019 by Nasheman

BJP trashes Congress’ ‘MeToo’ charge against Surya

March 29, 2019 by Nasheman

Bengaluru, March 28 (Nasheman News ) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday trashed Congress’ “MeToo” charge against its candidate Tejasvi Surya in the Bangalore South Lok Sabha constituency, which goes to poll on April 18.

“A nervous Congress is indulging in slander as it is afraid of its candidate (B.K. Hariprasad) badly losing to Surya in the electoral battle,” BJP spokesperson G. Madhusudan told media here.

The Congress, he said was stunned by the BJP’s choice to field a young, dynamic and promising youth with whom not only millennials, but also the present generation of people identified.

The BJP on Tuesday named 28-year-old Surya, a fiery Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) worker and a lawyer in the Karnataka High Court to contest from Bangalore South, a constituency dominated by IT workers.

On Thursday, the Twitter handle of Karnataka Congress sent out a screengrab of tweets by businesswoman Som Dutta, who in her interactions with author Shefali Vaidya said: “Dear Shefaliji, I request you to not blindly promote Tejasvi without knowing his full truth. Do you actually want a womaniser, abuser and a woman-beater to lead us? Need proof? I will share. Not every Hindu is dharmik and great speeches don’t make a great man.”

Replying to @madhusdhanrao7 @ShefVaidya and @Tejasvi_Surya, Dutta also tweeted “Karma gets to everyone my friend. I don’t believe in public spats and defamation. Should the party not do background checks before giving ticket. My parents have suffered too much coz of my choice can’t let them suffer anymore.”

The Congress further tweeted, “Is @Tejasvi_Surya another MJ Akbar in the making? Dear @BJP4India, @Tejasvi_Surya seems to be a great choice. #Bangalore South will remember. #MeToo #LokSabhaPolls2019.”

Madhusudan hit back saying, “The Congress has deliberately tweeted against Surya after he filed papers on Tuesday and not before though the ‘MeToo’ movement has been on for more than a year. This is nothing but mudslinging.”

Though the woman deleted her comments against Surya on her Twitter account, a petty Congress has posted its tweet with a screenshot of her posts without verifying the facts, he said.

Rubbishing the Congress tweet as a pervert act for trying to liken him (Surya) to the former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Madhusudan said the people would not get carried away by its dirty tricks.

MJ Akbar resigned on October 17, 2018 after many women journalists alleged that he had sexually abused them in the 1980s and 1990s when he was the editor of “The Telegraph” and “The Asian Age”.

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

March 27:- BJP State Spokesperson and legislator Shri S.Suresh Kumar today said that the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) scientists have made every Indian proud with the success of Mission Shakti and its Space surgical strike where India shot down today a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite by anti-satellite missile. It was completed in three minutes. It is an achievement for the country which is the fourth nation after the US, Russia and China with this antisatellite weapon to become a space super power, he said.

MANDYA POLITICS Speaking about dynasty politics taking alarming proportions in Mandya, Shri Suresh Kumar regretted that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was overlooking his duties as CM and giving importance to his role as father of Mandya Lok Sabha Candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy. It may be recalled that the chief minister had ordered diversion of traffic for three hours on the Bangalore-Mysuru Huighway to ensure his son’s hassle-free nomination. Condemning the total abuse of power by the chief minister in Mandya to harass Independent candidate and wife of Late actor M H Ambareesh, who is contesting against the JD (S) candidate Nikhil, he added that, actors Yash and Darshan were not spared either for extending their support to Smt.Sumalatha.

‘CONGRESS-JD(S) COALITION IN TATTERS’ –SURESH KUMAR Ridiculing the coalition partners for their growing differences, Shri Suresh Kumar said that their Mahagathbandhan is already in tatters in Karnataka. There is a dearth of candidates for the JD (S) which has given 6 of the 8 tickets to its members and could not get any for the remaining. D K SHI –ALL TIME LOW IN POLITICS Reacting to Congress leader D K Shiva Kumar’s appeal to voters to support JD(S) to ensure victory to Nikhil and thereby peace to Ambareesh’s soul, Shri Suresh Kumar regretted that the remark was an all-time low in politics.

ENSURE FREE AND FAIR POLLS IN MANDYA Demanding that the State Election Commission should declare Mandya LS Constituency as a pollsensitive area, Shri Suresh Kumar said that, the EC is duty-bound to ensure that the electorate of Mandya witness free and fair polling. Noting that not many women candidates come forward to contest elections, he said that it is unfortunate that those who take the step like Smt. Sumalatha are troubled. Further, there are 3 candidates by the name Sumalatha in the list of candidates to confuse the voters in Mandya, he said.

RAMANAGARA— COMPLAINT TO EC The Congress candidate from Ramanagara D K Suresh has distributed 25,000 buttermilk packets to the people which is a violation of poll code of conduct and a complaint has been filed with the Election commission, Shri Suresh Kumar said.

BJP MLA unhappy over denial of ticket Ananthkumar?s widow

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

Bengaluru, Mar 27 : Denial of the party ticket to Ms Tejasvini Ananthkumar from Bengaluru South Lok Sabha segment, that was taken without giving a hint to local BJP leaders in the city by the central party leadership, was opposed senior leader N Somanna on Wednesday
Senior BJP MLA elected from the city, came out in the open against naming greenhorn Tejaswi Surya, instead of Ms Tejaswani and said the news came as ‘bolt from the blue’ for him.
Speaking to newsmen after visiting Ms Tejasvini at her residence today, Mr Somanna, one of the strong votaries for the candidature of her for the Bengaluru South Lok Sabha seat, said that ?So far I am not clear over how the party ticket was denied to Ms Tejaswini?.
Stating that it was an unanimous decision of the BJP leaders in the state, recommending a single name of Ms Tejasvisini to the Central BJP leaders, to field from the Bengaluru South seat, he said that ?I want to know the real reason for the denial of ticket to Tejasvini?.
BJP sources said Tejeswi Surya got the nod ahead Ms Tejaswini as he was young and as per the ‘cue’ given by the RSS.
Terming the missing of the party ticket to Tejasvini Ananthkumar, is an unfortunate thing, he said ?there will be a senior leaders meeting scheduled to be held in three days, where I will seek to know the reasons behind the denial of ticket? he said.
He said that ?Unless I am convinced on the issue, I will not take part in the campaign for the BJP candidate, Tejasvi Surty in my Govindarajanagar Assembly constituency?.
It may be recalled that the Central party leaders, who had kept the party workers on guessing on the announcement of the party ticket to Bengaluru South Lok Sabha seat, had sprang a surprise by fielding Tejasvi Surya, a green-horn to the prestigious Bengaluru South seat, in which the BJP had never lost the elections in the last six General Elections.

‘1978 – A Teen Night Out!’ Releasing In Apr, 2019   A supernatural horror thriller titled 1978 – A Teen Night Out! is all set for release in the month of Apr, 2019. Crescendo Music & Films has joined hands with KSM Film Productions to produce India’s 1st ever teen thriller. The film has been co-produced by Spotlights Creation & is being distributed by Utopia Studios, worldwide.

1978 – A Teen Night Out! is racy, supernatural & terrifying  suspense story that promises to keep the hearts of its viewers thumping, right from the beginning till the last scene.

1978 – A Teen Night Out! has been directed by Aziz Zee & it features a bunch of young teenage actors who have performed amazingly well. They are Yash Rajpara, Apurva Godbole, Gaurav Sharma, Vaishnavi  Kadam,  Rishabh Raj, Muskaan Tomar, Sunny Yadav,  Rohit Mugallu, Maliha Malla.  & the film also features renowned TV actress Sonyaa & above all singer Abuzar Akhtar.

While the songs are completely composed with a retro feel of the 70’s, the USP of the film is that all the songs are actually sung by the actors of the film. By sheer coincidence, during auditions Suresh Thomas of Crescendo films discovered that some of the actors are brilliant singers. He then decided to create the entire music score using the voices of the actors themselves. This is possibly the 1st time ever that this has ever been done in any Hindi film so far.

Kunal Shamshare Malla stated, “1978 – A Teen Night Out! is a brilliantly made slick horror thriller which is like a Hollywood film of the same genre.”

Director Aziz Zee said, “With films like Stree, Pari & Ghoul being widely appreciated, we can be sure that 1978 – A Teen Night Out! is bound to draw crowds to the theatres.”

So re-live 1978 – A Teen Night Out, with what else, but a dash of chilling horror.
