‘1978 – A Teen Night Out!’ Releasing In Apr, 2019   A supernatural horror thriller titled 1978 – A Teen Night Out! is all set for release in the month of Apr, 2019. Crescendo Music & Films has joined hands with KSM Film Productions to produce India’s 1st ever teen thriller. The film has been co-produced by Spotlights Creation & is being distributed by Utopia Studios, worldwide.

1978 – A Teen Night Out! is racy, supernatural & terrifying  suspense story that promises to keep the hearts of its viewers thumping, right from the beginning till the last scene.

1978 – A Teen Night Out! has been directed by Aziz Zee & it features a bunch of young teenage actors who have performed amazingly well. They are Yash Rajpara, Apurva Godbole, Gaurav Sharma, Vaishnavi  Kadam,  Rishabh Raj, Muskaan Tomar, Sunny Yadav,  Rohit Mugallu, Maliha Malla.  & the film also features renowned TV actress Sonyaa & above all singer Abuzar Akhtar.

While the songs are completely composed with a retro feel of the 70’s, the USP of the film is that all the songs are actually sung by the actors of the film. By sheer coincidence, during auditions Suresh Thomas of Crescendo films discovered that some of the actors are brilliant singers. He then decided to create the entire music score using the voices of the actors themselves. This is possibly the 1st time ever that this has ever been done in any Hindi film so far.

Kunal Shamshare Malla stated, “1978 – A Teen Night Out! is a brilliantly made slick horror thriller which is like a Hollywood film of the same genre.”

Director Aziz Zee said, “With films like Stree, Pari & Ghoul being widely appreciated, we can be sure that 1978 – A Teen Night Out! is bound to draw crowds to the theatres.”

So re-live 1978 – A Teen Night Out, with what else, but a dash of chilling horror.

India gets anti-satellite capability to become space superpower

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

[Nasheman news] New Delhi India on Wednesday became “a space superpower” by becoming the fourth country to acquire anti-satellite capability, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Wednesday, calling it “a proud moment”.

“Our scientists, a little while ago, have targeted a live satellite in space 300 km away in low earth orbit,” he said in a nationally televised speech.

“The pre-fixed target was destroyed by the A-SAT in just three minutes. With this, India has established itself as a space superpower.

“Mission Shakti was a difficult operation but a huge success,” the Prime Minister added.

The operation involved a complicated space manoeuvre, Modi said.

Only the US, Russia and China possessed the technology until now, he added.

Saying the mission did not violate any international law, Modi said: “This is a proud moment for the country. Our scientists have made this happen.

“This new technology is not against anyone. It is only for the progress of India. We are only doing it for our safety and security.

“Our aim is to maintain peace and not develop a war-like situation,” the Prime Minister said.

Goa Deputy CM Sudin Dhavalikar dropped from cabinet

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

[Nasheman news] Panaji Goa Deputy Chief Minister and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader Sudin Dhavalikar, who held the Public Works Department Ministry, was dropped from the Pramod Sawant-led cabinet on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters after Sawant dropped his senior-most minister amid rising acrimony between leaders of the BJP and the MGP, Dhavalikar said: “At night, the chowkidars who have committed dacoity on MGP have shocked the people of Goa. People of Goa are watching this. People will decide on the course of action.”

The development comes hours after two of the three MGP MLAs split from the regional party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the early hours of Wednesday.

Deepak Pauskar, one of the two MLAs who joined the BJP, is expected to be sworn in as a cabinet minister later in the day, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has confirmed.

The political development and rift between the ruling BJP and the MGP is expected to spill over into the upcoming campaign for the two Lok Sabha seats and three Assembly by-polls, in which the MGP, once an ally, is expected to field candidates against the BJP.

Once a major attraction, Amethi park now abandoned

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

[Nasheman news] Musafirkhana (Amethi) Thirty-seven years after it was inaugurated by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, a children’s park here in Amethi lies virtually abandoned.

At a stone’s throw distance from National Highway 56, the Kadunala Mrig Vihar Park is in a poor shape, with broken windows and filth littered in and around the area.

Also known as Forest Park, it is situated only three kilometres from Musafirkhana, a small hamlet, was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi in July 1982.

The park was built keeping in mind the children of the area.

But a one-room building, swings and the seesaw which were major attractions are either broken or in disuse.

Musafirkhana resident Ram Mishra told IANS: “Earlier this park used to be major attraction for kids. But now no one is there to look after it.”

Mishra’s father Ram Dalan Mishra recalled that whenever Rajiv Gandhi used to even cross the area, he would spend some time at the park.

“But after his death, it seems its charm also died,” he said.

Syed Iqbal Haider, a social activist, said that the park is the biggest example of the (Uttar Pradesh government’s) Forest Department’s neglect.”

He said: “With the Congress not in power in UP, the state government has not cared for its maintenance.”

Local BJP leader Krishna Tiwari said that even the land at the park had been acquired by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

“But none of the officials of the Forest Department raised the claim of compensation,” he said.

The BJP leader said Congress President Rahul Gandhi should take up the matter to restore the work done by his late father.

Priyanka Gandhi arrives in UP for three-day visit

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

[Nasheman news] Lucknow With less than 15 days to go for the Lok Sabha elections to begin, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday arrived in Uttar Pradesh to start her three-day campaign.

Priyanka Gandhi, who wore a blue saree, interacted with party workers who welcomed her at the airport before she left for Amethi, her brother and Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency.

During the day, the Congress leader will hold meetings with party workers at Musafirkhana, 22 km from Amethi’s district headquarters Gauriganj.

Meanwhile, a bitter poster war broke out in Amethi. Posters branded her as a “visitor” and accused her of neglecting the Amethi constituency.

The posters, put up by Samajwadi Party leader Jai Pratap Singh Yadav, read: “Dekha chunav, pahan liya saree, nahi chalegi ye hosiyari.’

Rahul Gandhi, the incumbent MP, is pitted against Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani this time too in Amethi.

From Amethi, Priyanka Gandhi will go to her mother Sonia Gandhi’s Lok Sabha constituency Rae Bareli.

On Thursday, she will meet party workers in Rae Bareli and then, on the last leg of her campaign, visit Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency, in which Ayodhya falls.

On March 18, the Congress leader kicked off her three-day river ride campaign from Prayagraj to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.

The Congress, which won only two seats in the 2014 elections, is going it alone in Uttar Pradesh this time.

The seven-phased Lok Sabha polls are scheduled from April 11 to May 19. Vote count will take place on May 23.

Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala said the decision was expected later in the day. “We all want him to contest from Wayanad,” he added.

RCB, Mumbai eye first win of IPL 2019

March 27, 2019 by Nasheman

[Nasheman news] Bengaluru Coming on the back of heavy defeats, both Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will look to get their act together and log their first win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 season at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Thursday.

Mumbai recieved a shot in the arm a couple of days back when their star pacer Lasith Malinga was cleared by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to take part in the IPL.

SLC had earlier announced that only those players would be eligible for selection in the World Cup squad, who would compete in the Super Provincial One-Day domestic tournament, slated from April 4 to 11.

The verdict had forced Malinga to make himself unavailable for MI’s first six matches.

However, according to a report in ESPNcricinfo, the SLC has changed its stance after a few calls by BCCI.

SLC Chief selector Ashantha de Mel said that Malinga’s place in the World Cup bound squad is guaranteed, so he is free to participate in the IPL.

Virat Kohli’s RCB, who are yet to win the IPL and regularly draw a lot of flak for that, were bundled out for 70, the sixth-lowest score in IPL history, in their first game of the this year’s league against Chennai Super Kings.

RCB lost the game by seven wickets after their bowlers did well to try and put up a semblence of a fight but it was never going to be easy with such a paltry total on the board.

Not only did the team management read the conditions wrong, the famed RCB batting line up were also guilty of poor shot selection.

Opening the batting, Kohli could manage just six, while AB de Villiers scored nine as barring Parthiv Patel (29), none of the batters reached double figures.

Against Mumbai Indians, who have the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan and Ben Cutting, Kohli would know that his team will have to bat much better.

One positive aspect from their forgettable last match was the way wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal bowled, conceding just six runs from his four overs and taking a wicket.

Moeen Ali was good too and so was Haryana’s Navdeep Saini.

Coming to the visitors, Mumbai were blown away by a Rishabh Pant blitzkrieg in their opening encounter. The dashing stumper-batsman smashed an unbeaten 27-ball 78 taking the Mumbai bowlers, including India teammate Bumrah, for a ride.

Skipper Rohit Sharma would hope his bowlers get their house in order ahead of the RCB game and treat the Delhi poor show as a one off. Mumbai’s batting, except veteran Yuvraj Singh (53), looked ordinary too.

Talking of sub-plots, the battle between Kohli and Bumrah would be one to watch out for, with both players being at the peak of their powers in recent times.

Squads:

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli (Captain), AB de Villiers, Parthiv Patel (wicket-keeper), Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Shivam Dube, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj, Heinrich Klaasen, Moeen Ali, Colin de Grandhomme, Pawan Negi, Tim Southee, Akshdeep Nath, Milind Kumar, Devdutt Padikkal, Gurkeerat Singh, Prayas Ray Barman, Kulwant Kejroliya, Navdeep Saini, Himmat Singh.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Jason Behrendorff, Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar, Ben Cutting, Pankaj Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Siddhesh Lad, Evin Lewis, Lasith Malinga, Mayank Markande, Mitchell McClenaghan, Adam Milne, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Anukul Roy, Rasikh Salam, Yuvraj Singh, Anmolpreet Singh, Barinder Sran, Aditya Tare, Suryakumar Yadav, Jayant Yadav and Quinton de Kock (wicket-keeper).
