Founder Director of Indywood Film Carnival, Sohan Roy, proudly announced veteran film maker, Shyam Benegal, as Festival Director of the 3rd Edition of All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF). The event will be conducted from 7th Oct, 2017 to 10th Oct, 2017.
Regarded as the “Father of Alternative Cinema”, Shyam Benegal is a 7 time winner of National Film Award for Best feature Films in Hindi. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1976 & the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and bestowed with the highest award in Indian Cinema for lifetime Achievement, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2005. Also, reckoned as a well respected documentary filmmaker, Shyam Benegal is a legendary and one of the most influential filmmakers in India.
All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF), the flagship event of Indywood Film Carnival, is a unique platform for global film industry to portray excellence in film making. With an aim to inspire, nurture & integrate, All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) brings together the different aspects of the Indian Cinema industry facilitating congregation of people & nations. The film festival will be organized by All Lights Film Society – the premier global film services organization.
All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) saw an overwhelming participation of National & International delegates in 2016 making the event a grand success. The festival witnessed about 135 films from over 42 countries, grand red carpet screenings & networking events.
Indywood Film Carnival had its 1st edition at Kochi India from 15th Nov, 2015 – 19th Nov, 2015 followed by the 2nd edition at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad from 24th Sept, 2016 – 27th Sept, 2016.
