Dulquer Salmaan will be sporting multiple looks for the Bejoy Nambiar movie Solo. Now, a new picture has surfaced online, in which the actor is seen sporting an army man avatar. The picture is viral on social media and the audiences are going gaga over Dulquer Salmaan’s new look. Bejoy Nambiar’s Solo is an anthology of 5 short films & Dulquer Salmaan will be appearing in 5 different get – ups, one of which leaked online last month. Solo has Ann Augustine, Arthi Venkatesh, Sruthi Hariharan, Sai Tamhankar & Asha Jairam in the female leads. Solo will also feature Dhansika, Manoj K Jayan, Prakash Belawadi & Dino Morea, Bengali filmmaker Quashiq Mukherjee aka Q, etc, in the supporting roles. Currently, the shooting of the movie is progressing at a brisk pace.
30 fighters to lock horns with Mammootty!!!!!
Fans can expect some nail biting stunts in Mammootty – Ajai Vasudev movie Masterpiece. The movie will have a high octane fight scene in which Mammootty will be fighting with more than 30 fighters. The shoot of the fight scene choreographed by Anil Arasu, will last for 10 days. Mammootty will be playing the role of a strict college lecturer named Edward Livingstone in the movie which is touted to be an out – & – out mass thriller. Masterpiece also features Poonam Bajwa & Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the role of teachers while Unni Mukundan & Varalaxmi will appear in the cop avatars. The campus thriller, scripted by Pulimurugan writer Udayakrishna, also has Mukesh, Mahima Nambiar, Salim Kumar, Maqbool Salmaan, Kailash, Kalabhavan Shah John and many others in the key roles. Produced by CH Muhammed for the banner Royal Cinemas, the movie’s shoot is going on in Kollam Fathima College. If all goes well, Masterpiece is likely to release for this year’s Pooja holidays.
Keerthy Suresh & Co Set For A Big Schedule
Just recently the shooting of Mahanati started in Hyderabad’s Ramanaidu Studios. In the 1st schedule, certain portions were shot on Keerthy Suresh, who is essaying Savithri’s role in the biopic. In the 2nd schedule, which will be a longer schedule from 15th Jun, 2017 onwards, Dulquer Salman, who is playing Gemini Ganesan, will join. Directed by Nag Ashwin of Yevade Subrahmanyam fame, the biopic is all set to see Vijay Devarakonda cast opposite a star heroine for the 1st time ever: It’s Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is allegedly playing a raconteur of a journo here.
Mohanlal Unveils Raa Raa Teaser
Srikanth starrer Raa Raa, a horror – comedy -thriller, is produced by Vijay. The film will hit the screens in Jun, 2017. The news is that the Teaser of the same has been released by Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal on the sets of Villain, in which Srikanth is playing a role. Releasing the same, Mohanlal said that he wants to watch the film now that he has found the Teaser exciting. Srikanth said that it felt happy that the Complete Actor has released the Teaser. “This is a comedy with horror elements. The fun play between humans & ghosts will keep the audiences entertained,” he further said. Nazia is the heroine. Giri Babu, Seetha, Narayana, Ali, Raghu Babu, Posani, Prudhvi, Chandrakanth, Adhurs Raghu, Hema, Shakalaka Shankar, Nalla Venu and others are a part of the cast. Music is by Raprok Shakeel. Dileep’s Ramaleela Gets A Release Date!!!!!
The release date of Dileep’s upcoming movie Ramaleela has been announced. Ramaleela directed by Arun Gopy, has been receiving positive responses after the release of its 2 posters. And now, much to the delight of the fans, the director has recently revealed that the film will release on 7th Jul, 2017. Dileep plays an MLA in the film, which has Prayaga Martin in the female lead. The movie will have Raadhika Sarathkumar playing the role of Dileep’s mother. Ramaleela would mark Raadhika’s Mollywood comeback after 24 years. The movie talks about the relationship between the mother & the son, in the backdrop of political affairs. Apart from Dileep, Prayaga Martin & Raadhika, the movie also has a large cast that includes Mukesh, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, Renji Panicker & Kalabhavan Shajon in pivotal roles. In the poster, Manju Warrier once again sports the look of her most popular film Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu style. Udhaharanam Sujatha, which is said to be an out – & – out family entertainer, depicts the deep bonding between a single mother & daughter. Manju Warrier plays a character named Sujatha, a widow hailing from Chenkalchoola. Her character does odd jobs to bring up her 15 – year – old daughter. Meanwhile, Mamtha Mohandas will be seen as an IAS officer, a very important character in the movie. This full – length family entertainer will also feature 3 kids in pivotal roles along with Nedumudi Venu & Joju George, who is also one of the producers of the movie. Mohanlal Kickstarts His Next Movie
The shooting of Mohanlal’s new movie directed by Lal Jose began yesterday in a very special way. Being a college based entertainer, the movie’s shoot kickstarted in the campus of the St Xavier’s College, Thumba, Trivandrum. The team planted trees in the college campus and started off the shoot with a simple pooja ceremony. Talking in an interview, Lal Jose said that the movie would focus on today’s education system. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the movie will mark the 1st time ever collaboration of Mohanlal & Lal Jose. The team is yet to finalise the name of the movie, which will feature Mohanlal in the role of a newly appointed vice principal of a college. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the movie features Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajon et al in pivotal roles.
Fahadh Faasil Turned A Dubbing Artist
Most of the audiences are unaware of Fahadh Faasil’s role in Dulquer Salmaan’s recently released movie CIA – Comrade in America. The acting powerhouse turned a dubbing artist for the 1st time ever in his career for the role of Che Guevara in the Amal Neerad movie. The director who tried varied voices to dub for the role played by Big B fame Sumith Naval, was not satisfied with any. Later, Amal realized that Fahadh Faasil’s voice will perfect the role and when approached, Fahadh Faasil immediately agreed to dub for the character. Fahadh Faasil took 2 days to dub for the role and has been receiving exceptional reviews from audiences & critics like. Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil is currently busy shooting for his Tamil projects.
Anjali Menon To Direct Prithviraj?????
Though an official announcement has not come yet, there are rumors doing the rounds that ace filmmaker Anjali Menon will be teaming up with Prithviraj next. It was through the memories of Prithviraj’s character Vicky that Anjali Menon’s debut movie Manjadikkuru was narrated. Anjali then scripted Ustad Hotel that became a sensational hit. Her next directorial venture, Bangalore Days, remains one of the top grossers in Malayalam cinema history ever. Her film Happy Journey in the Kerala Café anthology was well appreciated. Anjali Menon was scripting a film for Pratap Pothen, with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. However, the project was shelved after a while.
Mammootty’s Next Gets An Interesting Title!!!!!
Mammootty has signed a new movie with scriptwriter turned director Sethu. Ever since the project was announced, there have been speculations doing the rounds that the movie is titled Kozhi Thankachan. And now, in a recent television show, the established writer – director Sethu confirmed that the movie has been officially titled as Kozhi Thankachan. The director tells that the movie will be a clean commercial entertainer featuring Mammootty as a naadan character. Set in the rural backdrop of Kuttanad, Mammootty plays the title character. Reportedly, the debut director has discussed the story with Deepti Sati, while Miya & Anu Sithara are also being considered for roles in the film. The movie will have Unni Mukundan working behind the camera as an associate director of the film. Meanwhile, Mammootty is currently acting in Ajay Vasudev’s yet – to – be – titled film. Produced by Muraleedharan & Santha Muraleedharan under the banner Anantha Vision, the shoot of the film will probably start in Jul, 2017.
Nikhila Vimal To Reprise Manjima Mohan’s Role
Nivin Pauly, Manjima Mohan, Aju Varghese & Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer 2015 release Oru Vadakkan Selfie directed by debutant G Prajith was one of the biggest hits of that year. After enthralling the Malayalam audience, the movie is now all set to have a Telugu remake, which will also be directed by G Prajith. Allari Naresh will reprise Nivin Pauly’s role in the original version. Meanwhile, the team has roped in Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal, who made her acting debut as a leading lady with the Dileep starrer Love 24X7, to portray Manjima Mohan’s role in the original. The upcoming movie will mark the actress’ Telugu debut. The movie will have little changes to suit the taste of Telugu audiences.
