ROBIN SOHI TO ENTER BOLLYWOOD WITH ‘RAJA ABROADIYA’
Robin Sohi who has been an active theater artist will soon see his debut film EKTA release around Mar, 2017. The strapping lad has already signed his 2nd film, a rom – com this time called RAJA ABROADIYA. Hailing from Karnal, Haryana, this Sikh Jatt moved to Mumbai 4 years ago and in no time was already doing stage & street shows under the ABSS Theater Group. “I am the actor that I am today only because of the theatre shows I did and it has helped me in my movies,” avers Robin. “I start shooting my 2nd film just around the time my debut film releases.” avers Robin excitedly. RAJA ABROADIYA will be shot in India & Germany. “It’s a very interesting rom – com with a unique concept. I couldn’t stop laughing during the narration itself. I simply loved the character – sketch of Raja, the role I play.” The film produced & directed by Lakhwinder Shabla will be shot in India & Germany. RAJA ABROADIYA is a rom – com around a rich but less educated boy & poor but highly educated girl, who decide to go abroad by faking a marriage. Music is by Mukhtar Sahota.
THE SHORT FILM ‘SHOORVEER’ IS ABOUT AN EXTRA ORDINARY INDIAN JAWAN
The short film SHOORVEER was launched by Industrialist & Philanthropist Dr. Aneel Murarka who has always gone the unconventional way & touched upon some serious issues prevailing in the society either through short films, award shows or his untold noble gestures. HAMID ALI’S ‘HUM HAIN KING’ READY FOR RELEASE
Writer – director Hamid Ali & Jafer Films’ HUM HAIN KING is all set for Mar, 2017 or Apr, 2017 release all over. The film which will be shown to the censors shortly, stars Rahul Kapoor, Nazia Khan, Qaseem Haider & Prithvi Zutshi along with 30 school children. The film was shot in a school in Mira Road, Thane district and nearby locales of Mumbai & Thane for 30 days and has cinematography by Triloki Chaudhary, music by Laxminarayan & Vasant & lyrics by Sani Aslam.
NEIL JOINS THE ‘GOLMAAL AGAIN’ SQUAD
Neil Nitin Mukesh who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar’s WAZIR will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s 4th installment of the hit franchise titled GOLMAAL AGAIN. He completes 10 years in Bollywood this year and will begin the shoot of GOLMAAL AGAIN after his destination wedding with Rukmini Sahay in Udaipur. Shaboo Kiran Productions MAINE JEENA SEEKH LIYA was launched at A B Sounds with the recording of 4 songs by music composer Raja Ali by new singers. 2 more songs will be recorded for the film with music composer & lyricist Sawan Kumar Sawan shortly. The film is being produced by Kiran Kumar Titoriya & directed by Sandeep Kumar from a script written by Saurabh Bharadwaj. Suman Negi (heroine of the biggest Haryanvi hit DHAAKAD CHHORA), a new hero to be finalised along with Zarina Wahab, Aryan Vaid, Yashpal Sharma & Raza Murad. 1 more top character actor will be added to the cast of the film which will be shot on actual locales of Meerut from mid – week of Feb, 2017 with a start – to – finish shooting stint of 20 days.
AMY JACKSON HAD A WORKING BIRTHDAY!
Amy Jackson, who has turned a year older recently, had a working birthday, but no complaints! The gorgeous actress, who is currently stationed in Chennai shooting for Shankar’s 2.0 alongside South megastar Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar, celebrated her birthday on the sets of the movie. Interestingly, this is her 2nd birthday on the sets of 2.0. Last year, Rajinikanth had specially called for a cake for Amy and this year, Amy took her team out for dinner after they wrapped up the shoot for the day. Amy avers, “I think work is a great way to celebrate your birthday. I was working on my last birthday too, and it’s now become a ritual of sorts.”
