Comedian Sidharth Sagar, who used to feature on The Kapil Sharma Show as ‘selfie mausi’, trended a great deal on Thursday after a friend of his uploaded photos of the actor, inquiring about his whereabouts. On Friday, there arrived a video on the young comedian’s Instagram account (which is unverified), in which he says he decided to respond to his well-wishers via an Instagram message. Sidharth, who is reported to have been missing for four-six months, alleged he was mentally harassed by his family, adding that he had even registered a non-cognizable report with the police against his family but that only made things worse for him.

“Hi everyone, I have been getting a lot of calls from my friends and the media to ask me if I’m alright, asking where I am and how I am. I have been through a lot of difficulties recently. I had filed an NC against my family for which they created a lot of problems for me. I have been mentally harassed and been through a lot,” Sidharth says in the Instagram video.

Sidharth Sagar, who reportedly had a rather troubled relation with his mother, said that he has more to share and will soon address the media. “I have received a lot of support and help from where I am right now. I will speak about my ordeal to the media in a day or two. I will share in detail of what I’ve been through,” he adds in the video.
Earlier, a Facebook profile of Somi Saxena, who is said to be Sidharth’s friend, posted this: “You guys remember him Sidharth Sagar aka Selfie Mausi or Naseer? This guy is missing since four months, last seen on 18 November, 2017.” However, this post appears to have been deleted now.

If you remember, sometime in 2016, Sidharth Sagar had also made headlines for his reported romance with Comedy Classes co-star Subuhi Joshi. According to reports, the two parted ways after Sidharth’s mother abused and threatened Subuhi.

The story has been written by Ram Kamal. The film has music by Shailendra Sayanti and will be shot in Mumbai & Kolkata. Tarun bagged his 1st ever TV project Jaanbaz Sindabad for Ramanand Sagar productions for Zee TV. Tarun was also seen in a web series Dulha Wanted in which he shared screen space with veteran Surekha Sikhri. He also played cameo in an Australian TV series Jack Irish. JACKIE SHROFF MAKES HIS GUJARATI DEBUT WITH THE FILM ‘VENTILATOR’

Jackie Shroff has made his Gujarati debut with the adaptation of Rajesh Mapuskar’s Marathi comedy – drama Ventilator. Helmed by debutant director Umang Vyas, the adaptation is written by acclaimed scriptwriter Niren Bhatt, who has previously written the National Award – winning thriller drama Wrong Side Raju, Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well and the Salman Khan produced Loveratri, that features his brother – in – law Aayush Sharma. The film also features well – known Gujarati film & theatre artists. Umang Vyasy commenced shooting for the Gujarati film, with the mahurat shot canned at Goregaon’s Film City Studio. The lead cast with filmmakers Ashutosh Gowariker & Rajesh Mapuskar along with director Umang was present at the venue. While Ashutosh gave clap for the mahurat shot featuring Shroff, the original ventilator director Mapuskar, who is also involved as the creative director on this film, ceremoniously broke the coconut. Kapil Sharma has reportedly cancelled shoot with Rani Mukerji, who was supposed to promote her new film Hichki on Family Time With Kapil Sharma, the comedian’s new show. The first episode of Family Time With Kapil Sharma aired on Sunday. “The team was to shoot the episode yesterday evening but Kapil informed in the morning that he won’t be able to make it, and so the shoot was cancelled,” a source told Indian Express. Just last week, it was reported that Kapil’s shoot with Baaghi 2 stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani was also cancelled. The cancelled shoot with Rani has apparently left the entire team ‘worried.’ “There is a lot of expectation riding on Kapil. This being his second innings, he should be a little careful. People are ready to rip him apart. We hope he pulls up his socks and gets back to serious business to give the quality that is expected from him,” the source told Media.

Of his shoot with Tiger and Disha, Kapil, via a tweet, clarified that the actors ‘were never supposed to shoot for an episode with him.’ “Tiger was never supposed to shoot for our second episode, so shoot cancel hone ka sawaal hi paida nahi hota. Kuch toh authenticity rakha karo yaar. Twitter kya ab explanation dene ke liye hi reh gya hai? Best wishes to my brother Tiger Shroff for Baaghi 2. The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) has recently announced 2 exciting additional programs and has revealed the distinguished members of its features & shorts juries for the 16thannual festival, which takes place from 11th Apr, 2018 to 15th Apr, 2018 at the Regal L.A. Live: A Barco Innovation Center cinemas in downtown Los Angeles.

IFFLA will also host a Master Class with The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar to discuss his career beginnings, his path to stardom on US television’s highest rated comedy, and to advise the next generation of artists on how to gain a foothold in a competitive cinema industry.

Rani Mukherjee has indeed made a smashing comeback almost after 4 years with yet another woman oriented movie Hichki which has been produced by her husband Aditya Chopra under their own home production banner Yash Raj Films & directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. The film indeed gives out positive & feel good vibes as it is the story about a teacher who turns her biggest weakness into her strength.

The story in tandem with the scripted scenario of Hichki revolves around Naina Mathur (Rani Mukerji) and her earnest struggle to break into her dream career of teaching while battling Tourette’s syndrome. After much trepidation & tussle with management & Principal (Shiv Subramanium) of a fancy public school, Naina Mathur lands a job as a teacher. The glitch here is that she is given a class full of mischief makers as students.

The challenge for Naina Mathur comes in the form of these unruly kids and of course, her own physical shortcoming. First, it starts with the students resisting her efforts, pulling pranks on her, absolutely frustrating her to the point of a breakdown and later it moves on to a great issue. Elitism prevalent in the education sector.

Soon enough it is Naina Mathur’s class of unruly kids from a nearby ghetto vs the privileged students of St. Notker’s High School who “legitimately belong” there. This class of 14 students essentially come from underprivileged background and are a part of the school, only because of the compulsion by the Right To Education Act on the school management.

It is a classic underdog–take–on–the-world and wins kind of situation. What happens when Naina Mathur takes up the challenge to teach this class of rejects is what forms the rest of the story of Hichki.

Director Siddharth P. Malhotra has done an earnest job by creating a heart-warming moments between Naina Mathur and her students who slowly but surely come around to appreciate their teacher’s efforts. Siddharth P. Malhotra takes a simple story but keeps it engaging throughout and that speaks a lot about his talent as a story-teller.
Hichki is inspired by Hollywood flick “Front Of The Class” based on the novella by Brad Cohen, “Front Of The Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me The Teacher I Never Had”, co-authored by Lisa Wysocky. The premise is old & films like Hindi Medium & Taare Zameen Par come to mind when one thinks of Hichki.
The film works when it comes to the basic storytelling and holds the attention in the 1st half. While the story is predictable, the screenplay is engaging and keeps you hooked on to its 1st half. Anckur Chaudhry’s dialogue, story & screenplay starts off on a great note. It is sharp, clever, zingy & funny but slips eventually towards 2nd half. Director Siddharth Malhotra has co-written the story & screenplay with Anckur Chaudhry, Ambar Hadap & Ganesh Pandit. Though their intention was genuine, they try too hard to somehow drive the message home towards the end.
Editor Shweta Venkat Mathew does a decent job, though the 2nd half could’ve been tighter. Avinash Arun handles the cinematography well as he plays with his lens to highlight small quirks about the key character of the film. His camera work makes the film look good overall. Music by Jasleen Royal is average. However background score by Hitesh-Sonik is good and goes with the narrative.

What makes Hichki a decent watch really is Rani Mukerji’s effervescent performance and the way she shoulders the film throughout with a renewed zest. Rani Mukherjee is likeable & inspiring and you sure empathize with her cause. She is relentless, spirited and totally right into her character. She does not lose her bearing even once and holds your attention with her amazing screen presence. There is a little “act” in her acting and it makes you wish she did more films. The actors playing her students are true to their characters and do a brilliant job in their bearing of the rebellious turned studious kids. Harsh Mayar playing the role of Aatish stands out. Neeraj Kabi as the disapproving teacher is spectacular. Ivan Rodrigues as the Principal is good. Supriya Pilgaonkar, Kunal Shinde, Shivkumar Subramaniam, Asif Basra, Hussain Dalal, Suprio Bose, Jannat Zubair Rahmani are all fantastic.

Tail Piece: On the whole, Hichki is a simple, meaningful & an inspiring film that stays with you. Rani Mukerji is back in full form and her fans will be immensely impressed.

At the box office, the film will mainly appeal to the younger audiences.

Now It seems that Kevin’s attorney told Jamie at this meeting that, since Jayden & Sean Preston are now 11 and 12 respectively, attending to their needs and wants during his time with them had grown more expensive. More than $10,000 per month each, apparently. Jamie then reportedly asked what exactly the boys needed but Kevin currently couldn’t afford to give them. Besides Kevin’s attorney apparently couldn’t answer, but told Jamie that Kevin wanted to be able to take care of the boys “at Britney’s level.”

John Bailey Investigated

John Bailey, who became the 34th president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is under investigation by the organization following multiple allegations of sexual harassment. An Academy subcommittee led by David Rubin began reviewing the allegations recently after receiving three separate claims of harassment. John Bailey did not respond to a direct request for comment. The Academy, later on, issued the following statement: “The Academy treats any complaints confidentially to protect all parties. The Membership Committee reviews all complaints brought against Academy members according to our Standards of Conduct process, and after completing reviews reports to the Board of Governors. We will not comment further on such matters until the full review is completed.” Bailey, a veteran cinematographer who succeeded Cheryl Boone Isaacs as president, has represented the cinematographer’s branch of the Academy for one and a half decade. His film credits include Ordinary People, American Gigolo, The Big Chill and Groundhog Day. In 2014, Bailey received the American Society of Cinematographers’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

The folks in charge of marketing for the social media app made the bizarre decision to run the ad. It so happened that Rihanna was assaulted by Chris Brown in 2009, as who could forget such a revolting incident? But Of course, it is as freshly horrifying as the attack remains for her millions of fans, no one but Rihanna knows just how traumatic Brown’s attack truly was. And so it’s not surprising that the outspoken music icon was quick to let Snapchat management know just what she thought of their latest ad campaign. Rihanna says, “Snapchat I know you know you ain’t my fav app out there! But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess!” the singer wrote in a statement posted – where else? – on Snapchat. “I’d love to call it ignorance but I know you ain’t that dumb. You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to Domestic Violence victims and made a joke of it.” Rihanna added: “This isn’t about my personal feelings, cause I don’t have much of them…but all the women, children, and men that have been victims of Domestic Violence in the past and especially the ones who haven’t made it out yet….you let us down! “Shame on you. She did so after Glaze told the panel that he had never kissed anyone before. The episode was filmed in Oct, 2017, but did not air until this week, and the quick spit swap seemed like a harmless exchange of bodily fluids at the time. But then Glaze opened up a couple days later and said, “I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save it for my first ever relationship. I wanted it to be special.” Benjamin works as a cashier in Enid, Oklahoma and explained that he comes from a very conservative background. The film will chronicle the life of yesteryear south superstar Savithri, who was indeed a renowned actress who made her mark across several languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam etc. Keerthi Suresh, a popular up and coming star in Tamil and Malayalam is stepping into this legendary character’s shoes to play her. on screen. This will be a big film not just for the south industry but also for the actress who is entering a different league with this biopic. The film is now all now all set to release on 9th May, 2018. The movie was earlier scheduled to release on 29th May, 2018, Besides Dulquer Salmaan, the movie also stars Samantha Akkineni enacts the role of Jamuna, Savitri’s her confidante. The story will be narrated from her perspective. Anushka Shetty enacts the role of Bhanumathi, one of Savithri’s biggest contemporaries. While Naga Chaitanya has agreed to play Akkineni Nageswara Rao. That apart Vijay Devarakonda is also enacting a crucial character. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin.

Pooja Hegde Spills The Beans

Pooja Hegde is currently one of the most talked about celebs. She has recently bagged a biggie and this time it’s opposite Baahubali star, Prabhas. She will now star opposite the Baahubali franchise star Prabhas. Says Pooja, “The director (Radha Krishna Kumar) and producers (Vamsi Krishna and U Pramod) came to me for the narration. It’s a thorough entertainer.” When asked if she was intimidated by the thought of working with Prabhas, here’s what she had to say,“For me, it was intimidating to work with Hrithik Roshan as well. But I managed that fine. I don’t look at this film as something that should intimidate me. It’s an opportunity to prove myself,” The film will go on floors soon. The movie, a bilingual will release in Telugu & Hindi. Pooja She will also be seen opposite Mahesh Babu in Vamsi Paidipally’s next. She will also be part of Trivikram’s next with Jr NTR. Pooja has already proved to be a great pair with Allu Arjun in DJ Duvvada Jagannadham. She will also be seen shaking a leg yet again in a special number for Rangasthalam. Prabhas Is Risking His Health

When Prabhas leaped from one cliff to another in the waterfall sequence of Baahubali, he didn’t just safely landed on the other end but also landed in the hearts of millions of viewers. Prabhas and Sujeeth Singh have teamed up for an ambitious project titled Saaho. Shraddha Kapoor stars as the female lead. Once again, Prabhas has opted for performing his own stunts without a body double. Somewhere out there is a perfectly built body double out of work right now. Of course the director is worried thinking about all the possible outcomes. Prabhas doesn’t want to use a body double for any of the scenes in Saaho. The crew has some renowned action choreographers from the west working on the film so he knows he is in safe hands. However, Sujeeth is concerned since Prabhas has the tendency of injuring himself. He also injured his shoulder during the filming of Baahubali and had to undergo a surgery. Therefore, he wants Prabhas to use a body double in at least some death defying stunts.
