French Actress Stephane Audran Left For Her Heavenly Abode At The Age Of 85

Stephane Audran, the French screen star of 1960’s, 1970’s & 1980’s, has recently left for heavenly abode. She passed away recently at the ripe old age of 85. Stephane Audran had won a string of awards including a Bafta for “Best Actress” in the year 1974 for two films, The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie and Just Before Nightfall. She had also played the lead in Babette’s Feast, which won the Oscar for “Best Foreign Language Film” in the year 1988, and was Cara in Brideshead Revisited on British TV Soap Opera. Stephane Audran was also known for her work with her husband, director Claude Chabrol. The pair had made 25 films together during their marriage, which lasted from the year 1964 to the year 1980 and many of those films saw her play unfaithful or betrayed wives mostly named Helene. Their films included Les Biches, for which Stephane Audran had won the “Best Actress” at the Berlin Film Festival in the year 1968. Another film, Violette Noziere, earned her a Cesar award in France a decade later. Ironically speaking it was only in the middle age that the great beauty Stephane Audran became a big name internationally.

Justin Bieber was recently involved in a car smash in West Hollywood. The Sorry hitmaker was driving his Mercedes – Benz G – Class on Sunset Boulevard when he was rear – ended by a Range Rover. Photographs of the incident show some damage to the back of Justin Bieber’s vehicle, as well as him walking over to speak with the passengers of the other car involved. Law enforcement sources told that an OnStar system, which is a personal in – car assistant, alerted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to the accident, which happened at around 9 pm. Police officers reportedly stood by as Justin Bieber and the other driver exchanged information, and no charges were filed. Justin Bieber was alone in the vehicle, after recently splitting from Selena Gomez. We’ve got a 45 minute timeslot for the Dubai show, which is nice, because we can do a really punchy set, we can get loads of hits in there. I’ve had a long career and made loads of records, so there’s lots of songs I want to play, even spanning back to the mid – 90’s. We have a really fun set we would like to do for shows like this. We’ll probably do something similar that we do for the festivals in UK.

Yes, it’s going very well and I’m very excited. I’m working with a fantastic producer and having a lot of fun in the studio. I can’t say too much at the moment, I’m keeping my cards close to my chest. But it’s something I hope to release later this year. All I can say it’s going to be a different “Version Of Me”. As everyone knows I like to jump from one thing to the next. It’s very musical, not like a musical theater, but it has a real musicality to it. I’m working with a respected producer and I think it’ll be a nice surprise that people will enjoy.

Being a lover of music, I’ve always quite fancied it. Somebody approached me to see if I’d want to do it, and I thought, ‘you know what, I’ll give it a try’. It’s been really fun figuring out what I want to play and how I want to be as a DJ. And the era of music that’s really relevant to me, and there were so many great styles, obviously the 90’s. So I’ve been working on a 90’s set, which is great, because it kind of spans dance music, more poppy stuff right through to clubby hard – core house & Britpop. It’s been really fun getting the dynamic of the set together, so that’s what I’ve been working on. My first DJ gig is in Paris very soon. I’m nervous obviously, but if it goes well, I’ll hopefully do a lot more in the future. It’s really fun and it is also like another additional string to my musical bow.

It’s absolutely fine. I know people are curious, and no step of the way have we wanted to mislead the people. We have come together, and we’re back with our previous manager Simon Fuller, and we are looking at opportunities. Animation is something we’ve talked about, an animated movie, a TV shows potentially, nothing reality, and this isn’t something that’s been discussed. And then, of course, the potential of performing together at some point. All of this is super early days; it’s still very much at the discussion stage. But it’s just really nice for us all to be back together, to kind of be under one roof. The Spice Girls legacy is so important to us. We just want to be positive and continue to inspire, not only young women, but people in general.

Comedian Sidharth Sagar, who used to feature on The Kapil Sharma Show as ‘selfie mausi’, trended a great deal on Thursday after a friend of his uploaded photos of the actor, inquiring about his whereabouts. On Friday, there arrived a video on the young comedian’s Instagram account (which is unverified), in which he says he decided to respond to his well-wishers via an Instagram message. Sidharth, who is reported to have been missing for four-six months, alleged he was mentally harassed by his family, adding that he had even registered a non-cognizable report with the police against his family but that only made things worse for him.

“Hi everyone, I have been getting a lot of calls from my friends and the media to ask me if I’m alright, asking where I am and how I am. I have been through a lot of difficulties recently. I had filed an NC against my family for which they created a lot of problems for me. I have been mentally harassed and been through a lot,” Sidharth says in the Instagram video.

Sidharth Sagar, who reportedly had a rather troubled relation with his mother, said that he has more to share and will soon address the media. “I have received a lot of support and help from where I am right now. I will speak about my ordeal to the media in a day or two. I will share in detail of what I’ve been through,” he adds in the video.
Earlier, a Facebook profile of Somi Saxena, who is said to be Sidharth’s friend, posted this: “You guys remember him Sidharth Sagar aka Selfie Mausi or Naseer? This guy is missing since four months, last seen on 18 November, 2017.” However, this post appears to have been deleted now.

If you remember, sometime in 2016, Sidharth Sagar had also made headlines for his reported romance with Comedy Classes co-star Subuhi Joshi. According to reports, the two parted ways after Sidharth’s mother abused and threatened Subuhi.

After working with Pradeep Sarkar & Gaurie Shinde, Tarun will work with debutant director duo Ram Kamal Mukherjee & Abhra Chakraborty. When producer turned director Ram Kamal Mukherjee offered him male lead in his film Cakewalk, Tarun couldn’t believe that he was an inch away from making his dream come true. Tarun recollects, “I met Ram Kamal first when I was called to choreograph the annual event of Magna Publications 5 years ago. I was teaching him a dance routine for one of the acts. It is nostalgic to revisit those memories. I was delighted when Ram Kamal asked me if I would like to do it and now I am all set to make my Bollywood debut.” Tarun will be seen opposite Esha Deol. The story has been written by Ram Kamal. The film has music by Shailendra Sayanti and will be shot in Mumbai & Kolkata. Tarun bagged his 1st ever TV project Jaanbaz Sindabad for Ramanand Sagar productions for Zee TV. Tarun was also seen in a web series Dulha Wanted in which he shared screen space with veteran Surekha Sikhri. He also played cameo in an Australian TV series Jack Irish. Recently he worked with Gaurie Shinde for a TVC starring Alia Bhatt.

Timangshu Dhulia approached Sikandar Kher to play the negative lead character in his next film Milan Talkies which also stars Ali Fazal in the lead role. The shoot of the film is already started and Sikandar is expected to join the unit in Mathura in the next 10 days. The film is based on the plight of single screen cinemas and the pathetic situation the talkies have been in for the last decade. JACKIE SHROFF MAKES HIS GUJARATI DEBUT WITH THE FILM ‘VENTILATOR’

Jackie Shroff has made his Gujarati debut with the adaptation of Rajesh Mapuskar’s Marathi comedy – drama Ventilator. Helmed by debutant director Umang Vyas, the adaptation is written by acclaimed scriptwriter Niren Bhatt, who has previously written the National Award – winning thriller drama Wrong Side Raju, Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well and the Salman Khan produced Loveratri, that features his brother – in – law Aayush Sharma. The film also features well – known Gujarati film & theatre artists. Umang Vyasy commenced shooting for the Gujarati film, with the mahurat shot canned at Goregaon’s Film City Studio. The lead cast with filmmakers Ashutosh Gowariker & Rajesh Mapuskar along with director Umang was present at the venue. While Ashutosh gave clap for the mahurat shot featuring Shroff, the original ventilator director Mapuskar, who is also involved as the creative director on this film, ceremoniously broke the coconut. After filming certain sequences in Mumbai, the cast will move to Ahmedabad to shoot the rest of the film. Shroff mentioned that he wishes to work in other languages as well. Sunny Singh’s recent release Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has turned out to be a sleeper hit and the young actor has already made a mark for himself in the 100 cr club. But even with this success the actor feels, he has a long way to go. In a recent interview the actor spoke about his role models in the industry and said that he looks up to Ajay Devgn & Akshay Kumar and would like to become like them someday. Kapil Sharma has reportedly cancelled shoot with Rani Mukerji, who was supposed to promote her new film Hichki on Family Time With Kapil Sharma, the comedian’s new show. The first episode of Family Time With Kapil Sharma aired on Sunday. “The team was to shoot the episode yesterday evening but Kapil informed in the morning that he won’t be able to make it, and so the shoot was cancelled,” a source told Indian Express. Just last week, it was reported that Kapil’s shoot with Baaghi 2 stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani was also cancelled. The cancelled shoot with Rani has apparently left the entire team ‘worried.’ “There is a lot of expectation riding on Kapil. This being his second innings, he should be a little careful. People are ready to rip him apart. We hope he pulls up his socks and gets back to serious business to give the quality that is expected from him,” the source told Media.

Of his shoot with Tiger and Disha, Kapil, via a tweet, clarified that the actors ‘were never supposed to shoot for an episode with him.’ “Tiger was never supposed to shoot for our second episode, so shoot cancel hone ka sawaal hi paida nahi hota. Kuch toh authenticity rakha karo yaar. Twitter kya ab explanation dene ke liye hi reh gya hai? Best wishes to my brother Tiger Shroff for Baaghi 2. See you soon bro… Lots of love,” tweeted Kapil Sharma.

Kapil Sharma has a reputation for having cancelled shoots for his previous show The Kapil Sharma Show. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn had to leave the sets due to Kapil’s absence. However, Ajay Devgn was the first guest of Family Time With Kapil Sharma.

Family Time With Kapil Sharma is the comedian’s comeback show, he was previously hosting The Kapil Sharma Show, which went off air some months ago. The embattled show’s viewership dipped enormously after Kapil Sharma’s former co-star Sunil Grover quit the show after a mid-air fight. Kapil reportedly resorted to alcoholism and was admitted to a rehab.

Obama asks Aman to campaign for him so that he can woo the Muslim voters. Aman’s cousin Joy is a Christian who is in love with Shaheen, a Muslim girl who happens to be the daughter of Jaffar Abbasi, a politician. Abbasi tells Joy he will get him married to his daughter if he campaigns for him in the election and gets him the votes of the Christians. When Aman & Joy share their ordeal with each other, they hatch a plan that will solve both their problems together.

ALIA BHATT INJURED ON THE SETS OF ‘BRAHMASTRA”

Alia Bhatt who has been busy with Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy adventure, Brahmastra, in Bulgaria since Feb, 2018 has recently met with an accident. The actress who turned 25 with a party on the sets recently, was filming an action sequence 2 days later, when she injured her shoulder. The injured shoulder is currently in an arm sling. The schedule has been tough & challenging on several levels and this accident has set the film’s shooting back by 2 days. However, their highest priority is Alia’s recovery. Prabhu Dheva’s ‘Mercury’ To Have Its World Premiere In The 16th Annual Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) has recently announced 2 exciting additional programs and has revealed the distinguished members of its features & shorts juries for the 16thannual festival, which takes place from 11th Apr, 2018 to 15th Apr, 2018 at the Regal L.A. Live: A Barco Innovation Center cinemas in downtown Los Angeles.

IFFLA will also host a Master Class with The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar to discuss his career beginnings, his path to stardom on US television’s highest rated comedy, and to advise the next generation of artists on how to gain a foothold in a competitive cinema industry.

The master class is presented with support from India Center Foundation and will take place on Thurs 12th Apr, 2018 @ 9:00 pm.

Best known for his role as Rajesh Koothrappali in The Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar’s career has spanned television, features & stage. He’s performed voice work in the DreamWorks animated feature Trolls & Fox’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, as well as Nickelodeon series Sanjay And Craig. His television credits also include a recurring role on TBS’ Sullivan & Sons, and a 2015 stint as guest host on CBS’ “The Late Late Show”. In 2015, he made his off – Broadway & London West End debut starring alongside Jesse Eisenberg in The Spoils, and he also produced docu feature Beyond All Boundaries, which won an IFFLA Grand Jury Prize in 2013.

IFFLA has also added to its 2018 line – up the world premiere of rising star director Karthik Subbaraj’s new feature Mercury. The film features South Indian superstar Prabhu Deva, and focuses on 5 long – time friends, all of whom are maimed as a result of their town’s mercury poisoning, who come together for their high school reunion. But a moment of mischief & misfortune during the after – party puts them on a one – way road to hell. Mercury will screen on Thurs 12th Apr, 2018 @ 9:15 pm with director Karthik Subbaraj in attendance.

An impressive panel of jurors will preside over IFFLA’s features & shorts competitions.

The features jury includes: director Haifaa Al -Mansour, whose multiple award winning debut feature Wadjda was the 1st ever film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia; film critic Carlos Aguilar, whose work appears in Indiewire, MovieMaker Magazine, Filmmaker Magazine, Variety Latino & Remezcla; and actress Sujata Day, known for her starring role on Issa Rae’s The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, and her recurring role as Sarah on HBO’s Insecure.

The shorts jury will include: Internationally renowned religious scholar & writer Reza Aslan, whose books include the #1 New York Times best – seller Zealot: The Life And Times of Jesus of Nazareth, and who has served as producer on HBO’s The Leftovers, ABC’s Of Kings and Prophets, and hosted CNN’s original series Believer; director Aneesh Chaganty, whose debut feature Searching was acquired by Sony Pictures for worldwide release in 2018 after its world premiere in Sundance, where it was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film prize & Next Audience Award & Guinevere Turner, screenwriter of American Psycho, The Notorious Bettie Page & Mary Harron’s forthcoming Charlie Says. Turner also wrote, produced & starred in 1994’s landmark queer film Go Fish.

IFFLA previously announced its full line – up which includes opening night gala film In The Shadows, with Bollywood star Manoj Bajpayee in attendance, closing night gala & international festival favorite Village Rockstars, directed by Rima Das, Hansal Mehta’s Omerta with Hansal Mehta in person, Naseeruddin Shah starrer The Hungry, and a memorial tribute screening of the late icon Sridevi’s 1989 hit movie Chandni.
